Jaya Week Day 4(The Space Between Dream and Reality)

Narrator's POV
Nya felt hazy. The bright lights around her were temporarily overstimulating her senses.

She blinked trying to shift to the atmosphere. When her eyes finally came to, she saw a tall handsome figure standing before her, a familiar one too.

Her heart began to race. She didn't know whether to run or fight. Her thoughts were stopped when she heard her brother call her name.

She hadn't realized anything before she was too overwhelmed. How'd she get here?

"Hey Sis! What're you waiting for you've been wanting this forever go!" Kai lightly pushed Nya to the dance floor.

Nya now realized she was in an a 70/80's style-esc club.

And there Jay stood, her Yang, the man who had told her how deeply he hated her.

"May I have this dance?" He asked with the most genuine smile one could give.

"Jay? How are you here? How'd you escape?! How-how do you remember?!"

Jay smiled softly. "You did Nya; you saved me." Nya cocked her brow.

She didn't remember any of this. What was happening?

Before she knew it Jay pulled her in close. At this point she didn't care she truly wanted this; Kai was right.

Music began to play

Flash Dance...What a Feeling

Jay took Nya's hands into his. "Remember this one?"
Nya laughed. "How could I forget?"

Jay spun Nya as the music started to speed up. They began swirling, twirling and just about having the best time of their lives.

The other dancers which Nya had somehow not taken a notice to were now watching them.

They cheered as Jay picked Nya up and spun her around his waist as they had practiced so long ago.

The crowd was amazed at their talent and chemistry.

Nya had missed this so much. "Do the move?" Nya asked.
"The one from Prime Empire?" Jay asked slyly.

Nya nodded. As the music came to its climax Nya ran back and Jay caught her as she leaped in the air.

She spun in the air as Jay held her with one arm. Everyone was screaming in admiration. Their dancing was incredibly.

When the song came to its conclusion Jay ended the dance by dipping her.

He planted a loving kiss onto her lips. Some part of this broke her heart knowing how long she had been waiting for this again.

"I love you Jay Walker."

"I love you too N-"

"NYA!"

Nya jolted awake clutching her heart. It was a dream, all of it. "What?" Nya said shaking a little.

"Hey, you okay?" Lloyd asked his friend. "Bad...great dream."

"Great?" Lloyd questioned in confusion. "It was about Jay," she sighed. "He remembered who he was."

Lloyd gave a sympathetic smile. "He will, eventually."
Nya nodded feeling less optimistic.

"I really hope so."
