"Are you ready?"
"Yes."
/////Jay, as soon as he knew the coast was clear, started to pull on the chains trying to escape. He saw his friends unknowingly confront a ready Nadakhan. The anger and fear only grew more as he failed to free himself. He could barely breathe with the gag in his mouth.
He closed his eyes. He begged himself to forgive him for what he was about to do.
Jay braced himself as he took his right hand into his left and pulled at his left hand dislocating his wrist. He screamed out in agony as he slipped his hand free from the restraint.
He then used his right hand again to push it back into place.
He then repeated the process with his left hand this time dislocating the right.
Once he was fully freed and all of his joints were back in place Jay shoved the door open and ran out. He knew exactly where to go because of the monitors.
He was too concerned for his friends he didn't even realize he was outside of the room for the first time in months!
He swiftly turned the corner past the biology classroom where he saw his captor about to use his magic against Nya.
Jay with all the courage he had left, ignoring the stinging in his wrists, lunged forward as the magic hit his neck.
Why wasn't he dead?
He was too worried to even notice the police officers enter.
The metal collar fell into Jay's lap. "It broke? Oh no."
Then, he felt weak.
"JAY!" A voice cried for him.
He felt himself being lifted onto someone's lap.
"You're ok!" It was Nya.
"Man that door was hard to break down," which was funny because he didn't break down that door.
"Jay! We're so sorry," she apologized trying to keep herself together.
"Who's Jay?" Then darkness////Jay fell back and when he did he saw the look on the woman's face.
The ninja in him made him immediately want to check on her wellbeing rather than his own.
"Miss? Are you ok?"
"Your name is Jay," she said sadly as if she knew that before him.
He nodded.
"Weirdly forgot it but you explained that to me. Who-who are you?"
Jay wasn't looking directly at her when he asked this so he was alarmed when he turned around to see her crying.
"Oh fsm, what's wrong?"
"He hurt you, how could he ever hurt you?"
Jay looked at his hands.
"Heh bad teachers are no joke."
This just seemed to make her cry more.
"You don't have to feel bad, I choose this well chose that life. I mean not specifically that but um it's ok."
He looked down at her and sighed. He sat down on his knees.
"Have you seen any others past lives like this?"
She sniffed trying to pull herself together. "No, it's my task, I can only move to the next life, if I help someone from my life. I knew who you were. I have to help someone from my life. It broke my heart to see you here so young, or at all. I thought it would
have been my husband. Not my son."
Jay just laughed awkwardly. "Um what?"
"Nadakhan is my husband, your father."
Jay fell back.
"No, no he's not! He's your husband? You're Delara? T-that doesn't matter, I have parents and I need to get back to them."
Now the woman seemed confused.
"You weren't raised by him?"
Jay decided to quit the niceties.
"Hell no! Only recently did I find out why. Your husband, the psychopath went insane after your death and I was placed with a different family. Thank the FSM!"
"You don't know him!" She shouted but immediately looked like she regretted it.
"It seems like you didn't," Jay stood back up.
She didn't know how to respond. "I'm sorry-"
"I'll find someone else to help me."
She stood in front of him.
"No, wait. I want to help you!"
"So tell me if you're going to help me or help him when it comes down to it?"
"I can help both-"
"Then you don't really plan on helping me."
Jay pushed past her and this time she didn't try to stop him.
He didn't really know exactly where he was going. Where they were was just a white space full of nothingness but he felt he just had to leave.
...
"How could he do that to his own son?"
She spoke to a floating orb that glowed a bright yellow and purple.
"He lost his sanity once you were gone Delara, and you knew him not as he really was."
Delara turned around angrily.
"And you didn't tell me?!"
"It wasn't relevant."
"Wasn't relevant?! The child I was-we were supposed to take care of was raised by other people! And you're telling me that it was all just a lie?"
"I thought it would distract you from you helping Jay."
"Well it didn't! It just made it worse."
She began to calm down. She clenched her fists.
"Show me what he's done."
"What?"
"Show me everything."
"Everything?"
"Everything."
///////
A baby could be heard crying in its cradle without anyone to listen to its cries.
"Can you shut your baby up?!"
"It's all of your noise that's keeping my son up!"
Nadakhan rushed to Jay's room.
He roamed over Jay's crib letting orange smoke fly over the baby. The once crying child started to calm down then fall asleep.
"Get your ass in here!"
"Is that anyway to talk to your boss?"
"I wasn't talkin to you cap, I was talking to Clancee! This shit head got the cops called on us! They're gonna find everything!"
~~~~
The police break in the walls and windows. "Secure the child!"
"Capture is second!
~~~
"Congratulations Mr. and Mrs. Walker, meet your son, Jay..."
~~~
"Mr. Nadakhan welcome to our school we think you will be a great addition."
~~~
"Detention Walker"
~~~
"You were my son!"
~~~
"JAY!!!!"
/////
Delara fell back. "What has he done?"
She ran and found Jay wondering around aimlessly trying to find a way out.
"I know how to fix this now."
