"Father! No, you can't send me back after all this time just for a movie!"

"You wanted this ever since you left why now are you changing your mind?"

"Why are you changing your mind? It's been 6 years! And I'm done with movies! Are you even listening to me?!"

Cliff looked up from his phone.

"FSM! Jamanikia hates big city people and that's what you made me! I'm 20 now, the contract ends when I turn 21 remember?!"

Cliff sighed. "That's not until the day after Christmas. You can handle this one last movie, it might even get you back into acting again."

Jay threw his arms up in frustration. "I never wanted to be an actor! You took me from Ed and Edna, that's what "got me into film'," he said with a nasally voice in a insincere tone. "You can't make me shoot this film!"

"You make me sound like a monster Jay!" Cliff huffed.

"You play pretty good ones on tv," Jay chuckled grimly.

"Thank you Son!" Cliff smiled missing the obvious sarcasm.

"Agh! That wasn't a complement!"

Jay plopped on the living room couch crossing his arms in disregard of his father.

Cliff came from behind. He placed his hands on his son's shoulders. "I know it's not what you want but it's what's best! I'm your father I should know."

Jay rolled his eyes.

"Ed is my dad," he whispered under his breath.

"What?" Cliff breathed stiffly. "Nothing." "You're going to make this film," Cliff said firmly.

Jay knew he had no choice. He was legally bound. But as soon as he turned 21 he would be done.

Sure, all those actors would be left without a lead but it was a stupid romance movie.

Jay had pleaded from the beginning to not be in a love story. Thinking about love made him sad. How could he pretend to be in it?

Well, actually...

"Murtessa called again," Cliff spoke.

Right. Jay sighed. The beautiful actress from the Munce kingdom was to be his wife. No he didn't propose she did and he said yes. Big mistake.

Jay sighed. "She's not coming is she?" Jay shuddered. She was nice and all but that woman was all hormones and they say Hollywood was all about sex they haven't seen Ninjago City and their celebrities.

Jay wasn't shaming her or anything.A part of him loved her. A part of him didn't.

At some point he liked having sexual relations with her until he ended up in the hospital. But it wasn't her fault. She was just really strong.

He wasn't married to her yet but he might as well be. He signed a contract and it also was over when he turned 21. Would he stay?

Cliff shook his head. "No."
Jay smiled relieved. At least this "get away" would let him escape his father and clingy fiancé which he totally loved.

"The movie won't be shooting for three days so feel free to explore get to know the town," Cliff said energetically.

Jay grumbled. "I do know that town! I grew up there!"
