Your POV:
It's the next morning and Draco still hasn't spoken to us. He must be really upset. I've tried countless times but nothing.
The four of us enter the great hall and Draco is sat at the Slytherin table with Crabbe and Goyle. I start to walk over but Hermione grabs my arm
"Just leave him for now" She says "he'll talk to us if he wants to"
I guess she's right.
We eat breakfast and just as we're leaving Pansy Parkinson decides to open her mouth.
"Oi, L/n"
We turn to look at her
"What do you want?" I scoff
"Knew you couldn't be nice to us Slytherins for long" she laughs "Dracos back with us now, you guys changed him, made him soft, it won't happen again"
"Really Draco?" I scoff "that's the road you want to go down"
He just looks at me without saying anything.
"Git" Ron mutters
"Have it your way" Harry says sarcastically before he drags us out of the hall
"This is all our fault" I sigh "we should have listened to him"
"What are we gonna do?" Hermione says as she paces up and down the corridor
"Nothing" Ron replies bluntly
"Ronald!" Hermione says
"I mean Cmon, we haven't really done anything, if he wants to join the Slytherins again then that's his business, nothing we can do" he shrugs
"I hate to say it, but he has a point" Harry says "he's old enough to make his own choices"
"Yeah okay" I mutter
"Come on, Hagrid wants to see us" Harry smiles
We all make our way outside to Hagrids
"Beautiful day" Hermione says in attempt to lighten the mood
"Gorgeous" Ron replies sarcastically "unless of course you've been ripped to pieces"
"Ripped to pieces?" I ask
"What on earth are you taking about?" Harry continues
"Ronald has lost his rat" Hermione explains
"I haven't lost anything!" Ron says "your cat killed him"
"Rubbish" Hermione scoffs
"Harry, you've seen how that bloody beast of hers is always lurking around" He says "Scabbers is gone"
"Well maybe you should learn to take better care of your pets" Hermione argues
"Your cat killed him" Ron says once again
"Did not!" Hermione says exasperated
"Did" Ron argues
This carries on for a while until we get to Hagrids, they argue like an old married couple at times.
We reach Hagrids and he's stood in the lake skipping rocks.
"How did it go Hagrid. The hearing" Hermione asks as I sit on a large rock
"Well first the committee members took turns explaining why we were there" he says "and then I stood up, did my piece. Said Buckbeak was a good hippogriff, he always combed his feathers"
He stops for a minute and then turns to look at us.
"And then Mr Clearwater walked in, said that Buckbeak was a vicious beast, would attack you if he ever got the chance. And then he asked for the worst' he says sadly
