Your POV:
Draco, Harry, Ron and I walk into Defence Against the Dark arts and see a rather weird looking cabinet.
Everyone starts arriving and soon we're all stood around the cabinet waiting to see what's gonna happen.
"Where's Hermione?" Ron whispers to me
I just shrug my shoulders, she should be here by now. Hopefully she gets here soon or people are going to get suspicious.
"Intriguing isn't it" Professor Lupin says as he walks around us all "would anyone like to venture a guess as to what is inside?"
"That's a boggart that is" Dean says
"Very good Mr Thomas, can anyone tell me what a boggart looks like?" He says
"No one knows" Hermione says from next to me
She needs to stop doing that. It makes me jump every time.
"Boggarts are shapeshifters, they take the form of whatever the specific person fears the most that's what makes them so" she continues but before she can say anymore Professor Lupin cuts her off
"So terrifying, yes yes. Luckily there is a simple spell that can repel a boggart" he says but stops as the cabinet shakes behind him
"Let's practice it now, without wands if you please. Repeat after me, Ridikkulus" he says
"Ridikkulus" we all say back
"Very good, a little louder nice and clear. Riddikulus" he says again
"Riddikulus" we all say once again but a little louder
"This class is Ridiculous" Draco laughs from next to me
I nudge him in the ribs with my elbow, though I know he's only joking.
"Ow" he whispers "what was that for?"
"Don't know what you're talking about" I whisper back and turn to face the front again.
"Well so much for the easy part, you see the incantation alone is not enough what really finishes a boggart is laughter you need to force it to form a shape you find truly amusing. Let me explain."
He looks around the room at each of us.
"umm neville will you join me please" he says
Neville looks around at all of us slightly worried before Professor Lupin speaks again.
"Come on now, dont be shy" he coaxes
Neville walks up to the front, i give him a reassuring pat on the back as he makes his way up.
"Now Neville was frightens you most of all" Professor Lupin asks
Neville mumbles something under his breath, however none of us can really make out what he actually said.
"Sorry?" Professor Lupin asks. Clearly he didnt hear him either
"Professor Snape" Neville admits causing the whole class to laugh slightly
"Frightens all" Lupin laughs "and i believe you live with your grandmother"
"Yes, but i dont want that boggart to turn into her either" Neville panics
"No, no it wont" Lupin says "i want you to picture her clothes, only her clothes very clearly in your mind"
"She carries a red handbag" Neville begins but before he can say anymore Lupin cuts him off
