Harry's POV
"Alright here we are Harry, you go first dear." Says Mrs Weasley as she hands me a pot of what looks like dust.
I look at her a little confused. Right now all of the Weasleys and I are gathered in the living room about to go to Diagon Alley. We're standing in front of a fireplace and I honestly don't know how we're gonna get to Diagon Alley but it most likely has something to do with what's in Mrs Weasley pot.
"But Harry's never traveled by Floo powder before Mum" Ron says
I look at him baffled. "Floo powder?"
"Well you go first then Ron so that Harry can see how it's done" Mrs Weasley says gesturing Ron over
I watch Ron as he nods and walks over to the fireplace and steps inside. He takes a handful of the so called 'Floo Powder' and Mrs Weasley pushes everyone back. Ron holds the Floo powder in his hand and speaks out "Diagon Alley" he drops the powder and I jump as a green fire swirls up around him and he disappears into the flames.
The fire quickly stops and Mrs Weasley turns to me. "You see? It's quite easy dear. Don't be afraid. Cmon" Mr Weasley pats me on the back and Mrs Weasley continues coaxing me towards the fireplace. I lower my head and step in. I do as Mrs Weasley instructs and take the Floo powder "All right yes. That's good. Ok. Now don't forget to speak very clearly" She says
I watch as everyone backs up and I try to recall what I was supposed to do. "Diagonally" I say and drop the powder. Wait! Oops!
The green flames shoot up around me and I close my eyes because it feels so strange. The next thing I know , I shoot out of another fireplace and onto the floor quite roughly at that. I grab my glasses that have fallen off beside me and put them on to see a large crack on one of the lenses. Well that's perfect. I cough out soot and push myself off the ground and then look around to make sure that no one saw my idiotic fall. I dust myself off a bit and look around. I'm definitely not in Diagon Alley.
I look around to see that I'm in a dark and creepy shop and can't help but walk around a bit. Different kind of skulls, bones, deadly sharp objects are what I notice most and I quickly walk past a sign that says 'Muggle parts'. An odd hand sticking up from one of the counters catches my eye and I curiously wrap my own hand around it. Faster than I could blink, the hand tightens around mine making me jump. I struggle to get free but the hand won't budge. I eventually pull it off me and it just goes back to the position it was in before. I decide I've had enough of this shop so I walk out the door and look around. The outside of the shop looks just like the inside. Dark, foggy, creepy and no colour. There are people around me and I feel their eyes staring at me and their whispers give me chills. I walk down the alley a bit and try to find my way out. I walk one way but a man blocks my way and gives me a death glare.
I gulp and quicken my pace in the other direction but a caped woman jumps out and stops me. "Not lost are you my dear?" She Asks creepily, studying my face.
"I'm fine thank you" I reply shortly and slowly turn away "I-I was just..." I stop when more people start walking towards me.
The first woman puts her hand on my shoulder. "Come with us! We'll help you find your way back"
"No please!" I reply
"Harry!?" I hear a familiar voice call.
"Hagrid!" I reply relieved as the people scatter off in different directions.
"What'd ya think you're doin' down here? Come on!" He scolds. I run up the stairs and by his side as he pulls me in a different direction. "You're a mess Harry! Skulking round Knockturn Alley. Dodgy place. Don't want no one to see you there. People will think you're up to no good"
