Chapter 7

Your  POV:
I followed behind Harry , Ron and Hermione as we were trying to tell Hagrid about everything that happened with Snape.
"Nonsense why would Snape put a curse on Harry's Broom?" Hagrid Asked
Why didn't Hagrid believe us , this is not a joke.
"Why was he trying to get past that three headed dog on Halloween?" Harry asked sarcastically
"Who told you about Fluffy?" Hagrid Asked
"Fluffy!" Ron exclaimed
"Why fluffy?" I asked
"That thing has a name!" Hermione said
"Of course he has a name he's mine" Hagrid says "bought im of an Irish fella I met down the pub las year then I lent im to Dumbledore to protect the" he trailed of
"Yes?" Harry and I say at the same time
"Shouldn't o said that" he says "no more questions, don't ask anymore questions that's top secret that is"
"But Hagrid" Harry whines "whatever Fluffy's guarding Snapes trying to steal it"
"Codswallop Snape is a hogwarts teacher" Hagrid says
"Hogwarts teacher or not I know a spell when I see one" Hermione chimes in "you have to make eye contact and Snape wasn't blinking"
"Exactly" I say after all I was the one who saw him in the first place.
Hagrid sighs "now you listen to me all four of you" he says looking at us all "You're meddlin in things that aren't supposed to be meddled with. It's dangerous. What that dog is guarding is strictly between Professor Dumbledore and Nicholas Flamel,"

"Who's Nicholas Flamel?" Harry Asks

"I shouldn't o' said that , I shouldn't o' said that" Hagrid repeats walking away

I look over at Harry who is smiling.
"Who's Nicholas Flamel?" Ron Asks

We all turn to Hermione "I don't know" she replied shrugging lightly. Well this is just perfect not even Hermione knows. We are screwed.

*time pass*
I look out of the many windows of the great hall and see the snow falling onto the rooftops , it looks absolutely beautiful. Christmas is only a couple of days away and the students that are leaving for Christmas leave today. Harry , Ron and I are staying as Harry doesn't want to go home and neither do I and Ron's parents are visiting his brother Charlie in Romania. Tia is going home however I think. Before I go back to Harry and Ron I see Tia and run over to her.

"Hey Tia" I say
"Hey Y/n" she replies "oh are you not leaving for Christmas?"
"No I'm staying here" I say
"Oh ok then" she says "well I got you a present"
She hands me a box wrapped in beautiful paper.
"Thank you Tia" I say "I've got you one too"
I hand her a box wrapped in paper.
"Thanks Y/n" she says
I smile at her.
"Well I'll see you after Christmas then" I say
"Yep" she replies "have a nice Christmas Y/n"
"You too" I say
I hug her and then run over to Harry and Ron who are playing wizards chess.
I sit down next to Harry.
"Who's winning?" I ask for the hundredth time
"Me" Ron replies
"Knight to E5" Harry says
His knight moves to E5.
"Queen to E5" Ron says
His queen moves and then slices Harry's knight in half.
"Dammit" Harry says
"I'll play the winner" I say
All of a sudden I see Hermione walking towards us , I run over to her.
"Hey Mione" I say
"Hey Y/n" she says
I hug her and she returns it.
"Merry Christmas" she says handing me a present.
"Thank you Mione I've got you one too follow me" I tell her
We walk over to the boys and I pick up a present off the table and hand it to her. I got her a locket with mine and hers picture in it.
"I've got one for you too Boys" she tells Harry and Ron as she hands them their presents.
"Thank you Hermione" Harry says
"We've got something for you" Ron adds handing her a present that him and Harry got for her together , it was a parchment set as she had  been wanting one for a while.
Soon Ron had moved another queen towards one of Harry's knights and it smashed it into pieces.
"That's totally Barbaric" Hermione says
I just laugh at her remark.
"That's wizards chess" Ron shrugs "see your going"
"See your not" She retorts
"There's been a change of plans" Ron says "my parents are in Romania visiting my brother Charlie , he's studying dragons there"
"Good" she says "you can help Harry and
Y/n look for information on Nicholas Flamel"
Ron sighs "we've looked a hundred times"
"Not in the restricted section you haven't" she whispers "Happy Christmas"
She walks off and Ron just looks back at Harry and I.
"I think we've had a bad influence on her" he says
"You think" I say
We all laugh and continue playing wizards chess.
*time pass*
"Harry wake up" I hear coming from the boys dormitory , it was Ron shouting for Harry to get out of bed.
I got out of bed , I was the only girl that had stayed over Christmas so it was nice to have the dormitory to myself , I could do whatever I wanted.
I walk downstairs to the common room and I see Ron wearing a sweater with his initial  on it.
"Nice sweater Ron do you think I can borrow it sometime" I say sarcastically
"Oh shut up" he laughs "you've got one too" he points to my pile of presents.
I walk over to Ron .
"Happy Christmas Ron" I say
"Happy Christmas Y/n" he replies
I turn around and see Harry standing at the top of the stairs.
"Happy Christmas Harry" Ron and I say at the same time
"Happy Christmas Y/n" Harry says "Happy Christmas Ron , what are you wearing?"
"Oh my mum made it" Ron replies "looks like you've got one too"
"I've got presents?" Harry Asks excitedly
"Yeah" Ron and I reply at the same time
Harry Runs down the stairs and we all start to open presents.
The first thing I open is a sweater off Mrs Weasley with a (first letter of your name)on the front. I smile and put it on. Ron opens the present off me and smiles widely when he sees what it is.
"Wicked" Ron says "Thank you Y/n"
"You're welcome Ron" I reply , he pulls me into a small hug.
I got him a new wizards chess set.

Harry's eyes widen when he sees my present. It was a photo frame with a picture of me running at Harry after he had won the quidditch match. My head was on Harry's chest and he was blushing madly.
"Hermione took It" I tell him
"I love it Thank you Y/n" He says
He pulls me into a big hug and I happily return his kind gesture.
We continue hugging until I hear Ron behind us.
"Ok where did I leave my mistletoe" he says teasingly
I pull away from Harry as he whacks Ron on the Back of his head.
"Only joking" Ron says laughing.

Harry then hands me a box wrapped in sparkly wrapping paper. I open it and inside is a beautiful silver chain with a little blue crescent moon charm on the bottom of it.
"Thank you Harry" I say as I happily put it on
"You like it?" He Asks
"I love it" I reply
He smiles at me and then Ron chucks me four presents one off him , one off Tia , one off Hermione and one off my mum and dad.
I begin opening the one off him and it was a whole basket full of chocolate frogs with a little note attached , it read.

I didn't really know what to get you for Christmas so I just decided to get you these as I know you like them. I know I haven't known you for long but thank you for being such a good friend . Happy Christmas

"Thank you Ron" I say
He hugs me and then I chuck Harry and Ron their presents off Hermione.
They open them and see a load of muggle candy's and chocolates.
"Woah" Harry and Ron say at the same time
I just laugh as I open my present off Hermione , it was a quill and ink set with a couple of pages of parchment.
I then open my present off Tia.
"What is it?" Harry asks me
"I don't know" I reply
"Wait there's a note" Ron tells me
I grab the note and begin reading it out loud.

I decided to get you this as a mark of our friendship. I hope you like it as I really do . Thank you for being the best , best friend anyone could ever ask for.

I pull out the present and see that it is a bracelet with mine and hers name on it. I put it on and then Ron chucks me a present and laughs as he's doing so.
It's from my mum and dad.
I open it and a letter falls out.

To our Darling Y/n ,
Happy Christmas sweetie
We understand that you want to stay at hogwarts for Christmas but I can't say that we weren't a little hurt when we received your owl. Anyway we hope that you are having a wonderful time at hogwarts and that you have made lots of new friends. We hope you like this present and we will see you soon.

I pull out the gift and see that it is a stack of books by my favourite author 'Jacquelin Wilson'
"What are they?" Ron Asks me
"Books" I reply
"Muggle books?" He Asks
"Yep" I reply
"Cool" He says "can I look?"
"Sure" I reply handing him the books.

"Harry you've got one more present you should open it" I say
Harry grabs the gift and pulls out some sort of cloak.
"Your father left this in my possession before he died , it is time it is returned to you" Harry reads off the note "it's a cloak"
"Put it on" Ron exclaims
Harry puts on the cloak.
"My body's gone" he screams
"I know what that is , it's an invisibility cloak" Ron says
Harry twirls around still shocked at the fact that he's invisible.
"They're really rare" I add
"I wonder who sent it?" Ron says
"There was no name" Harry tells us
"Use it well?" I ask "what do you think they mean by that?"

A mischievous grin grows on Harry's face.
Uh Oh...
