Your POV:
"Y/n! Y/n"
I slowly open my eyes and see Hermione stood over me.
"What is it?" I ask "what time is it?"
She scoffs and pulls my duvet off me.
"Merlin Hermione! What is it?" I whisper shout
"You are speaking to Harry!" She exclaims "right now"
"Now?" I ask as I pick up my watch from my table "but it's half seven in the morning"
"Harry is already waiting in the common room" she states as she begins brushing my hair
"This could be the start of a relationship" she squeals
"Alright alright chill" I sigh
She grabs me by my shoulders and shoves me out the girls dorm. Great. Thanks Hermione.
Harry's POV:
I take a seat in the common room because apparently I'm supposed to be meeting Y/n here according to Ron. He's been acting weird all morning.
I hear a creak on the stairs and see Y/n walking down the stairs.
"Hey Harry" she smiles "do you know what's happening"
"Not a clue" I smile
She takes a seat next to me.
"So, how do you feel now?" She asks
"A little better" I reply "head still hurts though"
"What do you reckon they want us to talk about?" She asks
Before I can reply a little paper plane comes flying down the stairs from the boys dormitory and lands on my lap.
I open it and it reads
"Mention the kiss"
I look up and see Ron peering from behind the door. He's not as subtle as he thinks.
"Can I ask you something?" I ask her
"Yeah sure, anything" she replies
"Why did you kiss me?"
Your POV:
"Why did you kiss me?"
My heart starts racing. How do I answer that? I can't tell him that I like him.
"Y/n?" I hear him say
"Hmm" I reply
"You spaced out" he laughs
"Oh sorry" I reply "okay well to answer your question"
I pause for a second.
"I just felt like it" I shrug
"Oh okay" he sighs "well it definitely made me feel better"
"Really?" I ask
"Of course" he smiles "I'm gonna go and get ready because professor lupin wants to meet with me before breakfast"
"Um okay, I'll see you later then" I say
"Yeah" he says as he stands up "bye Y/n/n"
"Bye Harry" I smile
I watch as he walks up the stairs to the boys dormitory before I throw myself onto the couch and scream into the pillow. Why couldn't I have just said that I liked him? Why did I have to be such a baby about it? Ahhhhh I'm so stupid
I feel someone shake me, I turn around and see Hermione with a massive smile on her face
"Welllll" she smirks "how did it go"
"Terrible" I mutter "I chickened out and didn't tell him"
"Y/nnnnn" she whines
She puts her arm around me and brings me close to her side.
"It's okay, there's always another time"
"I guess" I sigh
*Time Skip*
Hermione, Ron and I make our way too breakfast, Harry has gone to meet Professor Lupin.
We sit down at the Gryffindor table.
"Have you guys seen Draco?" I ask
As if on queue he comes rushing towards us.
"Guys!" He says exasperated
"What is it?" I ask him
"Nothing just wanted to remind you all that Christmas break starts tomorrow" He smirks as he sits himself down next to me
I punch him in the arm "you idiot I thought something was wrong"
"It's almost like that was the whole point" he laughs
"Are you guys staying for Christmas?"
All three of us nod.
"Wonderful, we can all go to hogsmede"
"Sounds like a plan to me" Hermione smiles
Harry then walks in the hall.
"How did it go with Lupin?" I ask him
"Brilliant" he replies "he's gonna teach me how to repel dementors after the Christmas holidays"
"That's wonderful" I smile at him
We all finish our breakfast and leave the great hall.
"Ooh I wonder if there will be any mistletoe for Christmas" Ron smirks as he shoves my shoulder
I shoot him a quick glare, thankfully no one else heard what he said.
"He wouldn't mind" Ron whispers in my ear
"Shut up" I whisper, attempting to hide the blush growing on my cheeks.
Harry turns around to look at us with confusion on his face. He just shakes his head and when he catches my eye he flashes me a smile.
I smile back at him, he walks over to me.
"Any plans for Christmas?" He asks
"Not much" I reply
"Okay well I was thinking me and you could go somewhere together" he says quietly
"Like a date?" I smirk
"If that's what you'd want it to be" He says
"Wouldn't miss it" I reply quickly before skipping towards Hermione trying to contain my excitement.
Harry's POV:
I watch as Y/n skips off to be with Hermione. I release a breath I didn't know I was even holding.
I can't believe I actually did it.
I grab Ron and Draco and pull them into an empty corridor.
"Woah woah what's happening" Draco asks
"Yeah little weird mate" Ron laughs
"Shut up" I say "anyway I think me and Y/n are going on a date during the holidays"
"A date?" Ron Asks
"Like a proper date?" Draco smiles
"Well at least I think so, she asked if it was like a date so I'm assuming that's what she wants it to be" I shrug
"You sure you've not got this confused" Ron smirks
"Wow cheers mate, really boosting my confidence there" I roll my eyes at him
"When are you going?" Draco asks
"I don't know" I shrug
"Probably best to ask" Ron laughs
"Hang on" I say as I sprint to try and find Y/n. I finally see her talking to Ginny and Hermione
Your POV:
I'm stood talking to Mione and Ginny when Harry rushes towards us.
"Is tomorrow okay?" He asks "at 12 o'clock?"
I'm confused for a second but then realise what he's talking about.
"Yeah course, I'll meet you in the Gryffindor common room" I smile
"Wonderful" he smiles "see ya"
And with that he rushes off in the other direction.
"What was that about?" Hermione asks me
"Well we're sort of going on a date" I smile
"A date!" Ginny shouts
"Shhh" I say "well at least I think it's a date"
"Oh this is so excitinggg" Hermione Says as she grabs my hands and starts jumping up and down
"Chill chill" I laugh
"Help me get ready in the morning?" I ask them
Hermione and Ginny look at each other.
"Of course" they reply in unison
