Chapter 3

Your POV:
After the feast finished we were lead to the Gryffindor common room by Ron's Brother Percy who I assumed was a prefect. When we were walking up the stairs the pictures on the walls were moving.
"Hey look at that one" I told Harry
He looked over at the painting that was waving at us.
"Cool" He said
As we arrived at the entrance there was a portrait of a fat lady.
"Password" She said
"Capus draconus" Percy said
The picture swung open and we all stepped inside. It was amazing , the scarlet and yellow colours filled the room . There was a fire burning in the corner.
We all gathered round Percy.
"Boys upstairs on your left , girls the same on the right you'll find that all your stuff has already been taken to your room" he said
We all parted ways.
Harry's POV:
I woke up to find only Ron in the common room.
"Ron" I said "Ron"
"What?" Ron said lazily
"Come on get up we're late" I told him
"Oh no" Ron said jumping out of bed.
We got ready , we had transfiguration with Professor McGonagall first.
We ran down the corridor and into the classroom, everyone was sat at desks writing.
Professor McGonagall didn't seem to be there yet only her cat.
"We made , could you imagine the look on McGonagalls face if she found out we were late" Ron said , I nodded at him
All of a sudden the cat jumped off the table and turned into Professor McGonagall.
"That was bloody brilliant" Ron said
"Thank you for that Assessment Mr Weasley, now how about I transfigure Mr Potter and Yourself into a pocket watch" she said
I heard sniggers coming from the rest of the class.
"We got lost" I admitted
"Then maybe a map , I assume you don't need one to find your seats" she said
Ron and I both sat down , the rest of the class giving us looks as we did so.
Soon the class started.
Your POV:
Class finished and I was walking out with Ron and Harry. We had potions with Professor Snape next which I was dreading.
"Excited for potions" Ron joked
"Ha Nope" I said
Ron just laughed , we walked into the classroom and I saw Tia sitting there. She looked at me and I smiled at her and sat down next to Hermione with Harry and Ron on her other side.
Soon Professor snape barged through the door.
"There will be no foolish wand waving or silly incantations in this class" he said standing at the front
"Now" he began "I don't expect many of you to appreciate the silent arts of potion making however for those select few will be able to"
"I can  teach you how to bewitch the mind I can't tell you how to bottle fame and brew glory" he said
I looked over at Harry who was writing on some parchment and then back at snape who looked a little annoyed.
Snape started speaking again.
"Then again some of you may have come to hogwarts with the feeling of knowing everything so you feel confident enough to not pay attention " he. Said glaring at Harry

I tapped Hermione on the shoulder and pointed at Harry , she nudged him and and he looked up at Snape.
"Mr Potter" Snape said "our new celebrity"
"Tell me where would I look if I asked you to find me a beesle?" He asked Harry
Hermiones hand shot up in the air but Harry looked clueless.
"I don't know sir" Harry said
"Well then clearly fame isn't everything is it Mr Potter" he said
I glared at Snape , it wasn't fair that he was putting all of this pressure on Harry. I then looked over at Tia who was looking at me with a questioning look.
Soon the lesson finished thank god.
We walked out of potions to our Flying lesson which I think we were all excited about.
"That was dreadful" Ron said
"I know it wasn't fair that he was putting all that pressure on you Harry" I said
"It's fine I guess but at least we have flying next" he said
We Carried on walking and I noticed Tia in front.
"Tia" I called
She turned around .
"Wait up" I said
Harry, Ron and I ran up to her.
"How's everything going?" I asked her
"Good" She said
"How's Ravenclaw?" Ron Asked "are they all brainiacs , what's the common room like?"
I shot a glare at Ron.
Tia just sighed.
"It's fine" she said "how's Gryffindor?"
"Great actually" Harry replied
"Well I have Transfiguration next" Tia said
"Oh we have Flying" I told her
"Oh ok I'll see you later then" she said
"See you" Harry Ron and I said at the same time
"Now let's get moving before we are late" Ron said
When we arrived at our Flying lesson there were brooms laying on the floor , we were told to stand next to one so we did. I stood in between Harry and a boy called Seamus.
"Welcome to your first flying lesson" a lady said "I am madam hooch I will be your flying instructor"
"Now I want you all to stand next to your broom and shout up" She said
I put my hand out and shouted "up" however the broom only moved a little.
I looked over and Harry and he had already done it.
"How did you do that?" I asked him
"Magic" he replied ,I rolled my eyes and began trying again.
After about 4 tries the broom lifted into my hands , Ron hadn't done it yet however it did lift up but it hit him in the face. I laughed along with Harry and a few others around us.
"Shut up Guys" He said but I could see he was trying not to laugh.
After we had all got your brooms madam hooch spoke again.
"Now I want you to grip your brooms tightly , mount them kick firmly off the ground and touch back down again"
Before we could do it Neville started flying in the air.
"Neville!" I shouted
"What's happening!" He yelled
"Stay calm your going to be alright" Hermione told him
His broom started going all over the place.
"Mr Longbottom!" Madam Hooch shouted over the chaos of children.
Then Neville fell off his broom and onto the floor, we all ran over to him.
"Out of my way" madam hooch shouted "oh dear it's a broken wrist"
She lifted Neville up and began taking him to the hospital wing .
"You are all to stay on the ground" she said "if I see one broom in the air you'll be on the train home before you can say quidditch" then she left.
I turned back to the others.
Harry's POV:
We were all just stood there wondering what to do next.
"I hope he's going to be alright" I heard Y/n say
"Me too" I told her
Then I saw something on the ground but before I could pick it up Malfoy picked it up.
"Looks like Longbottom's dropped something" he said
I looked at him sternly.
"Give it here Malfoy" I told him
"No" he replied "I think I'll put it somewhere for Longbottom to find"
And just like that his broom took off into the air.
"How about that tree?" He said pointing to a drooping tree.
I just continued to look at him.
"What's the matter Potter?" He asked "bit out of your reach"
That was it , I mounted my broom and I was about to take off before I felt a hand on my shoulder it was Hermione I turned around and looked at her.
"Harry no way you heard what madam hooch said , you don't know how to fly and you'll get in so much trouble" she said
However I just ignored her and began flying.
"Give it here Malfoy or I'll knock you off your broom!" I shouted
He looked at me and then smirked.
"Have it your way then" he laughed
Malfoy threw the object across the grounds , I sped past Malfoy almost knocking him off his broom.
The object was about to hit the ground but I caught it just before it did.
I lowered myself to the ground , running over to everyone else whilst they were cheering.
Y/n Hugged me which made me blush madly. She pulled away and then said "you idiot why did you do that?" She said "you could have gotten expelled or hurt"
"Sorry" I said "but at least I got it"
She laughed. We were all talking again however I heard a loud voice from behind the crowd.
"Harry Potter" it said , it was Professor McGonagall.
I looked over at Y/n and Ron and they looked worried.
"Come with me" she said
I walked off and I heard Malfoy laughing behind , this wasn't good.
