Chapter 10

Your POV:
I run back to the castle along side Harry , Ron and Hermione. We were just at Hagrids trying to find out more information on the philosophers stone however he then had a dragon egg so we all got distracted and then next thing you know Malfoy is sticking his stupid face in the window of Hagrids and we're sprinting back to the castle.

"Hagrids always wanted a dragon he told me the first time I met him" Harry says as we make our way into the castle

"It's crazy and worse Malfoy knows" says Ron

"I don't get it , is that bad?" Hermione asks us

I look up to see McGonagall looking at us with a disapproving look. I gulp
"It's bad"

"Good evening" she says and standing right beside her is Malfoy with a smirk on his face.

I look over at Harry Ron and Hermione who all have a look of terror on their faces and then back at McGonagall who just sighs. I start walking in the direction of the office and the others follow.

"Nothing. I repeat Nothing gives the student the right to walk about the school at night. There will be punishment for your actions, 50 points will be taken" she says with disapproval in her voice

"50" Harry exclaims

"Each" she says

I look over at Malfoy who looks so pleased with himself, he notices me looking and looks back at me with a sort of 'I'm better than you' look but what do I care , it's not like I haven't got it before.

I just sigh and turn my head back to McGonagall.
50 points each! That's TWO HUNDRED POINTS! No no no now Gryffindor is never going to get the chance to win the house cup no matter what. I bet anything it's gonna go to the slytherins.

McGonagall sighs like what she's about to say is gonna be hard to hear. "To ensure that this doesn't happen again all five of you will receive detention"

I look over at Harry Ron and Hermione who are kind of smiling as Malfoy is getting detention too but he just doesn't seem to get the gist as he's still smiling that stupid grin.

"She said all five of you" I say to Malfoy

He turns his head to me in disgust "I heard her" he scoffs

"How many of us are there Malfoy!" I exclaim "count I dare you"

Hermione, Ron and Harry try to hold back laughter. Soon Malfoy Finally realises that he will be joining us in detention. His face is priceless , it's a mixture of Hatred , anger , fear and stupidity.

"Excuse me Professor Perhaps L/n" He scowls as he says my last name "Heard you wrong . It's seems you've said the five of us?" He looks at McGonagall with a pleading look

"Miss L/n has heard correctly. You see as honourable as your intentions were , you too were out of bed after hours you will join your classmates in detention" she says as Malfoy shoots glares at us all

Malfoy looks at us in disgust.
"Off you go now" McGonagall says shooing us to bed.

On our way up the stairs I turn and smile at her. Despite punishing us , which to be fair we deserved , she still gave Malfoy a detention too even though he did grass us up.
She winks at me and my friends as we make it back to the Gryffindor common room. I'm feeling mixed emotions at the moment tiredness , fear, but suddenly I get a feeling an instinct if you will. Detention is not going to be good. What do they even make you do for wizard punishment? Surely not anything too bad. The look on McGonagalls face when she's at her strictest moments come to mind. Gulp. Ok. Now I'm scared.
