I woke up bright and early so I could meet with my Best friend Tia , we have been friends since we were little , we are inseparable. I walked downstairs . "Morning" I said to my mum and dad "Morning" they replied I got some breakfast then went upstairs to get changed:

I then began walking to the park to meet with Tia , when I got there she was sat on a swing. "HEYYY" I shouted "HEYYYYY" she shouted back I ran up to her and gave her the biggest hug , school started up again soon so we were trying to make the best of the time we've got left. "So what do you wanna do?" She asked me "Ice cream shop?" I suggested "Sure" she replied We began walking to the shop and we saw loads of owls flying above us which was a little strange, some even had some kind of paper in their mouths. We got to the ice cream shop and ordered , I got chocolate with a flake and Tia got strawberry with sprinkles, we ate it and then headed back to the park. "Now what?" She asked "Race you" I said "What" she replied I tapped her on the shoulder and then began running away , I looked back and saw her chasing after me soon later she caught up with me. We lay on the grass. "What do you think schools gonna be like this year?" Tia asked me "Boring as always" I replied She just laughed. "I have to get back now" I told her "That's fine" she said "I'll walk you back" We walked back to mine , I hugged her and then walked inside. When I got inside I saw my parents with excited looks on their faces. "What?" I asked them They handed me a letter that had the words "Miss L/n Upstairs Corridor last door on the right 9 Crescent rode London" (not an actual address) I turned it over and saw a wax seal with a crest on it however I couldn't quite make out what it was.
I carefully opened the letter and then read it out. "Dear Miss L/n We are pleased to inform you that you have been excepted at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. Please find enclosed a list of all necessary books and equipment.
Term begins on 1 September . We await your owl no later than 31 July.

I looked at my parents in shock "I'm a" "Witch" they replied They hugged me and then I Went to immediately ring Tia . "Hello" She said "Tia did you get one ???!!" I asked "Wait you got one too!!!!" She said "Yesss" I replied "OMG yay" she replied "Are you gonna go?" I asked her "Of course" she said "who wouldn't ! Are you?" "Definitely" I replied "Wanna meet up tomorrow so we can talk about it?" She asked "Yes" I said "you can come to mine" "Ok see you" she said "See ya" I replied
I can't believe this is actually happening , I'm gonna go to sleep and then see what tomorrow brings.
