Chapter 6

Harry's POV
"Go on mate take a bit of toast" Ron told me as we were sat at the breakfast table
"He's right Harry you're gonna need your strength for today" Hermione added
"Wow that's a First Hermione Granger agrees with Ron Weasley" Y/n laughed
I laughed a little.
"I'm not hungry" I said for the 6th time this morning
All of a sudden I heard footsteps coming up behind us and then I heard a very familiar voice.
"Good luck today Potter" it said , it was Professor Snape
"Now that you've proven yourself against a troll a little game of quidditch should be easy even if it is against Slytherin" he said
Snape then walked away however he was limping.
"That explains the blood" Y/n Said
"Blood?" Hermione Asked "what blood?"
"Listen yesterday in the girls bathroom after we fought the troll" I said "Y/n and I saw blood on snapes leg"
"But what in the world would he have done to get his leg bloodied up like that?" Ron asked
"Listen I think Snape let the troll in as a diversion so he could get past that three headed dog but he got bitten and that's why he's limping" Y/n said
I just nodded at Y/n's theory.
"But why would anyone go near that dog?" Hermione asked
I thought for a moment but I couldn't think of a reason until it hit me.
"When I first met Hagrid he took me to gringotts and we went to a vault numbered 713 Hagrid wouldn't tell me what was in there only that it was official hogwarts business" I told them "what if that's what the dogs guarding? What if that's what Snape wants?"
"Woah" Ron said impressed
"That actually makes a lot of sense" Y/n added

Soon we were interrupted by Hedwig flying through the hall , she dropped a parcel on the table in front of me and then flew to the head table.
"Bit early for mail isn't it?" Hermione Asked
Y/n Cleared all of our plates out of the way to make room for the large parcel.
"Let's open it" Ron said
We all began pulling off the strings and pulling off the wrapping until it was all off.
"It's a broomstick" I said
"That's not just any broomstick Harry" Ron told me "that's a nimbus 2000"
"But who?" I asked as I turned my head towards the head table where Professor McGonagall was petting Hedwig. She smiled at me and I smiled back however I was still in shock.

*time skip*
I walked with the Gryffindors as we made our way to the Pitch, I stood next to wood and gulped loudly.
"Scared Harry?" He asked me
"A little" I replied
"Don't worry I felt the same way before my first game" Wood told me
"What happened?" I asked
"I can't quite remember I took a bludger to the head 3 minutes in" he replied "woke up in hospital a week later"
I gulped even louder as we made our way onto the pitch.

"Hello and welcome to the first Quidditch game of the season" announced Lee Jordan "today's game Gryffindor versus Slytherin"

All of the Gryffindors and Slytherins began clapping and cheering.
"Madam hooch goes onto the pitch to begin the game" says Lee Jordan
"Now I want a nice clean game" She shouts "from all of you"
"The Bludgers are up along with the Golden snitch remember the snitch is worth 150 points and the seeker who catches it wins the game" Lee Jordan says "the quaffle is released and the game begins"

Soon everyone is flying round I see Angelina grab the quaffle and make her way to the hoops, when she gets there she throws the ball and scores.
"Angelina has scored 10 points to Gryffindor" Lee Jordan announces
"Yes" I shout nearly falling off my broom "woah" I say
Soon my broom starts going all over the place.
"Woah , woah" I shout
Your POV:
"What's going on with Arrys broomstick?" Hagrid asks
I snatch the binoculars off Hermione ignoring the "Hey" coming from her. I look at Harry through them and then over to where all the teachers are sitting and Snape is muttering something under his breath , I should have known it was him.
"It's Snape he's jinxing the broom" I tell Ron and Hermione
"What!" Hermione exclaims
"What do we do?" Ron Asks
"Leave it to me" Hermione says walking away
I look back at Harry and he's flailing about on his broom. Aww I feel so bad for him.
I look back at Ron who is looking at me raising an eyebrow.
"What?" I ask him
"You totally like Harry" He says
"What no I don't" I exclaim
"Ok sure" he laughs
I look away blushing a little , I decided to change the subject.
"Where is Hermione?" I ask
I look back at Harry and he is only just holding onto his broom , his legs dangling in the air.
"C'mon Hermione" I hear Ron say worriedly

I look over at Snape and see that the bottom of his robes are on fire.
"Ron look Hermiones set Snapes robes on fire" I tell him
He grabs the binoculars and looks through them.
"Brilliant" he says admirably
We watch the mini panic in the teachers area and we see Professor Quirell fall of the bench and it makes Ron and I laugh.
I look back at Harry and he's mounting his broom.
Harry's POV:
Suddenly my broom stops moving and I see the Slytherin Seeker chasing after the snitch, I quickly fly next to him he looks and me and barges into the side of me , I barge into the side of him as well.
I reach out to grab the snitch but I grab to far and fall of my broom and onto the ground.
Soon I feel something in my throat I throw it up and into my hands falls the golden snitch.
"Harry Potter has caught the Golden snitch" Announces Lee Jordan
"Gryffindor wins" shouts Madam hooch flying across the pitch.

I stand up and see Ron Hermione and
Y/n running down from the stands towards me.
"Harry!" Y/n shouts at me
She runs over to me and hugs me , I see Ron Smirking at us. Y/n lets go.
"We have so much to tell you!" Hermione says
