Chapter 7

Your POV:

We're sat in the great hall doing some late night studying whilst also listening to Adrian go on about his arm. It's his own bloody fault, he shouldn't have insulted Buckbeak.

"Does it hurt Terribly Adrian?" Tia asks him

"It comes and it goes" he says "but I consider myself lucky according to Madame Pomfrey another minute or two and I couldn't lost my arm. Couldn't possibly do any homework for weeks"

"Listen to the Idiot, he's really laying it on thick isn't he" Draco scoffs

"At least Hagrid didn't get fired" Harry says

"But I heard Adrians parents are furious, we haven't heard the end of this" Hermione says

All of a sudden Seamus runs into the hall holding the daily prophet.

"He's been sighted!" He shouts "he's been sighted!"

"Who?" Neville asks

"Sirius Black" Seamus says

I look around at Harry, Ron, Hermione and Draco as the five of us jump from our seats and stand to look at the newspaper.

"Duff Town!" I exclaim "thats not far from here"

"You don't think he'd come to Hogwarts do you?" Neville asks

"With Dementors at every entrance" Ron says

"Dementors" Seamus says "he's already slipped past them once, who's to say he can't do it again"

"That's right" a boy called Ben says "black could be anywhere. It's like trying to catch smoke, trying to catch smoke with your bare hands"

I gulp and look up at Harry who looks worried. I just give him a reassuring smile.

"Come on. It's getting late" Hermione says

We all gather our books, say goodbye to Draco who goes to the Slytherin common room and make our way to ours.

*Time skip*

Hermione and I make our way to the great hall for breakfast. As we reach the entrance Hermione says she has to go somewhere which is her way of saying she's got extra classes.

I say goodbye to Hermione and make my way over to the boys.

"Morning" I say to them

"Morning" the three of them reply

As we eat our breakfast, owls come flying in dropping mail to everyone. All of us apart from Harry get something, I feel bad for him.

I open it and see a note from my parents. Wow I feel like I haven't spoken to them in ages. I open it and read it.

How are you darling? We miss you terribly. You should know that when you get back from school this year your grandparents are visiting us, they don't know about Hogwarts so please don't mention it. They wouldn't understand. We love you so much. See you soon

My grandparents? Strange. I haven't seen them in years. Oh well it'll be nice to see them again. I look over at Draco who's reading his letter and is looking rather upset.

"Draco are you okay?" I ask him

He shakes his head and hands me his letter. Ron, Harry and I read it.

We haven't been this disappointed in you since you dyed your hair and eyebrows green when you were five!! Associating yourself with mudbloods and blood traitors. You're a disgrace to the Malfoy name! How dare you embarrass us like this and the cheek of you to not even tell us. Don't bother coming home for summer we don't want you in our house, all of your belongings will be delivered to Hogwarts.
