"Remind me why I agreed to this?" You groan as Luca drags you down another street, your arms already laden with bags as he tugs on your hand excitedly.
"Because you love me and you can never say no to me?" Is his answer as he bounds ahead, beaming at you happily as he loops his arm with yours. He bumps his head with yours and you can't help but smile at his sunny nature.
"Yeah, yeah, whatever." You say with a shake of your head.
"Come on, just this last one and then we can go grab lunch." He stops you just short of another shop, a one with a brightly-painted storefront advertising all different types of contraptions and oddities in the window. "What do you think?"
"I think Hondo should let me skip training tomorrow." You shift the bag from one arm to another to allow you to take Luca's outstretched hand, squeezing it tightly in your own as he laughs and leans in to kiss your cheek. "Going shopping with you covers all my weight training for at least the next week, if not more."
