I was pretty sure that the object lying to the right of me was not Lorelai's heel and infact the furriest creature I've ever seen. I moved away from it, bumping into a girl with dirty blonde hair. Her hair was ruffed and crazed, like every other girl here. I looked around, shivering from the cold cell.

The girl offered me a half eaten banana, every piece of dirt hanging off the first bite. I politely declined even though my stomach is growingly loudly. I look up and widely search for the furry heels that Lorelai was wearing. I can't believe they separated us. I can't do this thing without Lorelai and I wish she knew how cold and uncomfortable with this environment.

"Bitch in the yellow dress, up next." A man taller than me grabs me aggressively by the arm, I don't even protest because he wasn't the first man to grab me and throw me down the stairs. I stumbled a bit but when I looked up to the furry heels, I was glad to get thrown down the stairs

"Lory!" I jumped up, despite the dull pain on my legs. I wrapped my arms tightly around her body, not wanting to let go. I held onto her and started crying heavily, feeling the weight of my heart lifting.

"Rae, you're dirty." Lory deadpans but she doesn't remove me off her. I know I'm dirty but I won't let go of her no.

"This place was a hell hole, you owe me." I muffled into her neck.

"Can you walk?" She asks.

"Can you carry me?" I counter back. She hides a grin and holds me up, walking us away from the cold, black cell. "Hey what did you say to the big muscle men?"

"That my boss needed you."

"Oh, is he hot?" I ask as a joke.

"There is no boss, it was a ploy."

I didn't even try to say that I was joking or making a joke of the situation. She still wouldn't get it even after I explain the joke. We walk and head to the neon red sign flashing 'exit'. I see Jade leaning on the van outside. A guy kneeling next to her, grey tape stuck to his mouth and his hands bound behind him. He was screaming out profanities from the back of his throat.

"Shut up!" Jade turned around, kicked him with the pointed part of her heel.

"Let go inside." Lory gets the van open and gets the aid kit out to check me for any injuries. I would tell her I don't have anything but she won't not check.

"You act like my mom, it's sweet." I coo at her and she visibly freezes up before she drops the kit and walks to the driver side of the car. "Ah mommy, don't leave me."
