PART 1: NEW TASK
Inside the castle, in the discussion room, seven people stood in front of the Ruler. These seven people had dark blue cloaks on. They were standing, forming a semicircle in front of the throne. 4 men and 3 women. These were the great Dark Masters of Koyaku. And, the Ruler, Lady Tilbeth was sitting on her throne. She was in her mid-thirties.
Lady Tilbeth was in her royal robes made with soft silk. They still looked perfect to fit in. She also had a red cape on her shoulders. There was a huge silver tiara on her head with diamonds embedded in it. A huge hammer lay beside her, presumably her weapon.
"I say we take our forces to the border and threaten to start a war if those human kids were not delivered to us," said Master Jaiv.
"Oh, that's filthy," said Master Marielle, fiddling her bushy burgundy hair. She acted as if she was disgusted by the thought of it. Her dark blue cloak had a box drawn on it which was small in height but long in length and breadth.
"It wouldn't be if this Jade would have done his job," said a muscular man, known as Master Estug. The back of this man's cloak had a lightning bolt.
"I was merely following orders," said Jade defending his actions. "I was told not to get involved in a battle."
"Maybe you could have used your sword," said a skinny lady beside him. Master Paisley had a gust of wind drawn at her back. She continued, "Don't you carry the strongest weapon in the whole country?"
"This sword is to be used to burn evil," said Jade, "I refuse to slaughter any more innocent lives for blind pleasures."
"Are you doubting our Ruler's commands?" said Master Brendan.
That man was average in size and was missing his left arm. A very thick sword was attached to his waist. His dark blue cloak had a water droplet on its back. His words silenced the room, indicating that he spoke very few times and this was one of those.
"No, I am just saying that I am not going to kill some kids just because their ancestors were involved in a war against us, and it's also important that our former Ruler had started the war," said Jade.
"Let's not bring our father's name here, Jade," said Lady Tilbeth.
Jade stayed quiet.
"There is one more issue," said Lady Tilbeth. "Domino has been killing a lot of people lately. Sometimes in our nation too."
Everyone's eyes widened. It had been many years since Domino had left the nation and joined the Zortus to pass judgment on others' crimes. He was never arrested and brought back because it would bring Zortus to attack Koyaku and there would be another war. And on top of all, it would be with an undefeated man named Aynor — the dark lord, the leader of the Zortus.
"Brendan, why don't you bring him in, alive or dead," said Lady Tilbeth.
"I will, my lady," said Master Brendan.
"That's too much," said Jade, trying to stop. "Let me bring him in."
"You have failed on one of your important missions so I am not sending you anywhere, Brother," said Lady Tilbeth.
Master Amery raised her hand. She was a skinny woman in her thirties. Her cloak had a huge flower drawn at the back. She made hand signs as she could not speak. Lady Tilbeth and Jade seemed to be the only people who were understanding the signs.
"Thank you, Amery, I think it's a very good idea," said Jade.
"What did she say?" asked Master Marielle, she was powdering her nose with a small makeup kit in her hand.
