PART 1: DEPARTURE
Aarav and Annie were leaving to investigate their destination. Raymond and Katie were waiting for Captain Ellie to arrive so they could leave for theirs. It was early in the morning, all four of them were on the porch; gleaming in the orange glow at the time of sunrise.
Eve came and went through the overall plan again. Both of the missions were investigations. Raymond and Katie had an additional job to keep Captain Ellie busy until the secret raid happened on the HQs of Army 6 and Army 8. All the combat was supposed to happen at the HQs; if met with resistance.
And if there were any signs found proving the existence of the Undead Army by any of the two teams on the investigation, the received intel would blow up the media all over the nation.
New missions would take over the normal missions of all the Armies. There was a need for a huge workforce in decoding all the notes left behind by Alice's grandfather — George Albie. And more people were needed to visit those locations and destroy the Undead Army's remains. There was another way to guard it, but it was too risky.
Captain Ellie dived at the beach with sand surrounding her. She looked at the Beach House's porch to find 5 of the Army 11's members. She walked up there and said,
"I hope you kids are ready."
"More than ever," said Katie, she got up and greeted the fellow Captain. Everyone else got up after her and was ready for departure.
"I hope you know," said Captain Ellie, "I am in charge of this investigation. We return only when I ask you to. We will fight together if any threat appears."
"Wouldn't have it any other way," said Katie, clapping her hands in joy.
"You're in a good mood today, Captain Ellie," Eve pointed out with suspicion.
"As a matter of fact, I am," said Captain Ellie, "I just sent a letter to someone special this morning."
"Boyfriend?" asked Annie.
Captain Ellie just smirked to set aside the ridiculous question. But Eve was suspicious. She knew something was wrong with Captain Ellie, she could have set a trap at the Army 6 HQ or at the place Raymond and Katie were going with her. She did not know the location so that was unlikely.
"I'm coming with you," said Eve.
Raymond was shocked, but Katie happily pulled Eve with her. Eve stopped to leave a note on a piece of paper and then came with them. Captain Ellie seemed not to mind the change of plan. Raymond knew Eve, she was not the type to make changes on the go, she was scared most of the time, but if Eve made such a change then it was extremely necessary.
"I think we should get going too," said Aarav.
Annie picked up a huge bag with her, no doubt it was full of stuff she needed for her picnic with Aarav. Her smile gave it away clearly. Aarav was kinda embarrassed about Annie's behaviour, so he just tapped her shoulder quickly and said,
"See you all soon!"
And they were gone leaving behind falling leaves. Captain Ellie, Raymond, Katie and Eve held each other's hands and dived out as well.
PART 2: AFTER THE DEPARTURE
Gavin and Alice were almost ready by the time the others left for their investigations. The plan for them was to meet up with allies sent by Mr Largman to investigate Army 6. Master Owens was on his way to Army 8 HQ already. He needed no help. Gavin had no idea who the allies were for them. But he simply hated the fact that he was forced to take help.
The mission was going to be full of action, Gavin knew it. There was no way he saw Army 6 cooperating and surrendering. They were guilty and it was their mission to lock down the entire HQ and let no one leave without a full investigation.
Gavin and Alice got ready with their combat outfit like others and put on their Army 11 cloaks. They left for Army 6 HQ in Alterin. Gavin also wanted to visit his family after the mission as they lived in Alterin.
When they dived out, a few 100 meters away from the Army 6 HQ, they found their ally waiting for them. Gavin and Alice were surprised to see Ginny Clear, the Vice Captain of Army 4.
Ginny was quite popular as Gavin and Alice's senior at the Elemental Academy, she was offered to be a student of Master Wyngaf, but she declined it.
Alice was as shocked as Gavin. She knew that even if the situation got messy, they had a Vice Captain to handle it. She respected Gavin for his strength, but Ginny had more experience and training with her current self. She had even heard that she was as strong as Aarav.
Ginny formed a bow from the water. She closed her right eye and aimed it at the building which was Army 6's HQ.
"Should we attack directly?" she asked. "I doubt they'd go down willingly."
"They definitely won't," said Alice. "But still, we should knock before blowing up the door."
"I'm okay either way," said Gavin with excitement. He was amazed to see Alice's eyes narrowing at him. He said, "What? They spread hatred. I want to beat them up!"
"Then we'd make a good team," said Ginny with a smile.
Alice hardly remembered that even though she and Gavin were always together, they were not in a relationship. It ached her heart to not express her feelings for him. It was worse when he was approached by other women. She was not jealous, but she wanted to be loved by Gavin.
PART 3: NAR
Far up in the north of Capital City and right in the middle of Sattab and Qiuyu, Nar was a well-known place for its beaches. Army 8's HQ was a campus with 6 medium-sized buildings. Unlike Army 6's HQ which was only one huge building. Master Owens entered the campus. As a Master, he had all the clearance he needed, and he was directed straight to Captain Rox's office. Everyone was surprised by his strangely timed visit.
Master Owens entered the main building and was going to enter Captain Rox's office, but he was stopped by the guards.
"You don't have permission to enter, Master," said one of the guards.
"I am a Master, I have all the permission in this nation," said Master Owens.
"Not to this office," said the guard, "Captain Rox isn't available here. You can sit in the waiting room. Captain Rox is out on a mission and has not mentioned when he'd return."
"Is that so?" Master Owens asked, "I checked that Captain Rox has no missions today before coming, could you be lying?"
The guard got a little flustered. "No," he said.
"I will wait for an hour," said Master Owens, "if Captain Rox does not arrive by then, I'd start my job, with your cooperation or without."
PART 4: THE UNDEAD
In the darkness before the sun, the cold wind from the centre of the rainforest waved a red cape. This person raised his right hand and yelled,
"Stand!"
Black smoke released from all around the hand of the person floated to the ground and covered it entirely. Within no time, the soil started to shake and uncover. Hands and skulls came out of the ground and lugged the rest of their bodies out. Within no time, tens, then hundreds of Undead came out of the ground and awaited orders.
"That's quite a power, my Lord," said Domino.
He came from behind with a grin on his face and a scythe at his back. He witnessed the dead being called back to life. Lord Aynor turned towards him and said,
"You can go now," said Lord Aynor. "I will keep my promise."
"Thanks, my Lord," said Domino.
Domino was gone in the next second. Dived out without leaving a trace behind.
