Chapter 76: Chill

PART 1: INTIMIDATION

Master Owens and Army 8 Vice Captain, Mick Ime were running towards each other to exchange their first blow, Master Owens grabbed Mick's hand and kneed him in the stomach. The impact was enough to release a shock wave, Mick was coughing blood in an instant.

"It's not— over!" Mick said, coughing badly. He fell to his knees.

"I don't want to hurt you anymore," said Master Owens. "Let's try a different approach."

Mick got up from his knees to attack. Master Owens did not move, he grabbed Mick's hand again and said,

"Experience my power."

Mick could not understand or describe what happened next but extreme pressure overtook his body, he fell to his knees again. All that pressure was coming from Master Owens's raw Elemental Energy. It was too much, Mick could not even get up, he could not take the pressure so his head fell to the ground.

"You're outclassed," said Master Owens. He stopped releasing Elemental Energy and left Mick free. He continued, "I hope you will not try anything stupid."

He turned to find Captain Rox standing behind him. He was furious for this Vice Captain. His huge body was shaking with rage.

"I will not let you continue this," said Captain Rox. "I will fight you for the insult you've caused us."

"You brought this upon yourselves," said Master Owens, summoning flames around his hands.

"I don't know how you gained the title of a Master," said Captain Rox. "I knew you at the Academy, you were the weakest! I have a Fire element as well, let's have it."

"I hate to fight," said Master Owens, taking a proper fighting stance, "I will not let you spread any more inequality. If both of us are having Fire, the question is, whose will burn hotter?"

PART 2: POTENTIAL

Gavin had only heard about Ginny's potential. Seeing her first time in serious action was a sight to behold. She was handling most of the heavy lifting. Army 6 was attacking them with full power, Ginny was causing heavy water explosions just by shooting from her water bow from range.

Gavin and Alice were handling only a small portion of the people attacking them, Alice was guarding Gavin so he could go berserk and compete with Ginny, but she was much cleaner and spent way less energy than Gavin. They fought in two different styles. She was the Vice Captain of Army 4 for her talents.

Ginny brought down ceilings after ceilings and walls after walls, floors collapsed on one another like a house of cards. As it was a full on war, she did not have anything to hold back for. She knocked down the Army 6's Vice Captain with a single arrow shot. It was clear that Ginny did not believe in a fair or proper fight, she just wanted it to be over.

It was clear that her strength was way out of range for anyone she was competing with now. She even encountered some of her classmates who stepped back as soon as they saw her.

PART 3: HELP

Raymond and Katie tried to hit Captain Ellie with their punches and kicks, but so far it was all in vain, she had an annoying ability to absorb their attacks with her sand. Her Element was Earth, but she could manipulate sand much better than the other part of the earth.

Domino and Brendan were exchanging blows a bit far from them. So far they were only clashing their weapons, but Brendan started getting serious first. He waved his hands and sharp spears of water formed. Those went straight for Domino. He used his scythe to destroy them.
