Aiza was holding newly born twins in her arms. She was in the hospital, still on the bed. She had a smile on her face but behind that was sadness. She had to leave Douglas suddenly. She loved her, and she knew that he loved him as well. Just one incident or one glimpse of her powers was enough to break him.

Douglas was going through a lot of personal issues as well. He was under a lot of mental stress but he loved her, the last words he uttered while his memories were being erased was proof of his love. He made a mistake, but he loved her. Aiza was having a hard time imagining that Douglas would not be able to meet his kids. The kids will not have a father around. She hated how things turned out.

All those worries and stress vanished when she looked at the cute tiny faces of the twins. She looked at the boy and said,

"Your name will be Brendan."

Then she looked at the girl and said,

"You'll be Ellie."

Even as she uttered those names, she felt pain in her heart. She and Douglas decided names but she was the only one present to give the names. The door thrashed open to disturb the peace of the moment.

"We need to leave!" as a man in a grey cloak.

Anthony was a fellow Army member, Master Ellendun placed him as a guard for Aiza and the two of her kids. They were placed in a village hospital far to the border of Fruniv and Gait. The 80s were worse for human kids to be born on Elemental Lands. To avoid gathering attention, they were placed away.

"They are coming!" Anthony said to Aiza, hurriedly packing urgent materials. "Villagers know you gave birth to humans, I don't know how, but they are coming to kill all of us now."

Anthony grabbed one of the babies and helped Aiza get up with one of them in her hand. Aiza could not dive, she was not healed or focused enough to dive, her medications were not making it any easier.

"I'll try to dive all of you," Anthony said, "It's probably not healthy for you and the kids, but we have no choice. There are too many coming, and most of the hospital staff are with them. And some good ones will be killed too if they get in the way."

"Okay," said Aiza, she was not well, but she got up straight.

They could hear the crowd coming towards their room. Anthony closed his eyes to dive out, but nothing happened. Aiza opened her eyes to see blood coming out of Anthony's mouth. He was impaled in his chest with a sword. Mobs were standing behind them in rage and fully equipped with weapons. Someone had thrown a dagger at them from a distance which Anthony took.

"You are such a disgraceful Elemental Being!" said a man from the mob.

"Help—" Anthony tried to say but his voice was feeble.

The woman who had impaled Anthony pulled her sword out. Anthony yelled in pain and fell to his knees, he still did not let his grip loosen on the baby. A man came forward to slash at Anthony's back, he yelled,

"You'll die here!"

"SHUT UP!" Anthony shouted in rage.

The blade coming at him shattered and flew back as Anthony released a wind current. The mob was pushed back. Anthony got up and handed the baby to Aiza, and said,

"Run, dive out, call Master Ellendun," he coughed blood, "Do whatever you can."

"But you—" Aiza stuttered.

Anthony sent another wind force to break the window of the room and used that rubble to hit the mob back. Aiza did not want to run away like that, but she knew she could not fight well at the moment and her priority was to save her kids. She jumped out of the window after tying her kids to her back.

"You are a disgrace!" Anthony yelled at the crowd.

He sent another gust of sharp wind blades at the mob to shove them away, but he coughed and got down to one of his knees. A woman came to slash him, and said,

"You are done here!"

Down the street, Aiza was running as fast as she could, though it could hardly be called running. She was barely walking. She was also trying to dive out of that place; it was not working, she even tried focusing on Master Ellendun's memories just like she did when she was with Douglas, but nothing worked. There were a few people coming behind in range.

"Don't let her get away!"

There were no houses far into the sight, there were no helpers and no police station. Aiza had no way to call for help. Anthony had already done what he could. A man caught up to Aiza and grabbed her shoulder, Aiza summoned sand from the ground and shot it at his eyes. He fell back.

"These kids are innocent," said Aiza, "Please let them go! I beg you!"

"We will not let humans live on our lands!" said a woman from behind.

She came to stab Aiza but dodged and protected her kids. That was it, Aiza was mad now. She focused all around her and summoned all the sand she could. She created a whirlwind of sand around her. She safely placed her kids on the ground and stood fearless in front of her enemies.

"I will protect my kids, they will live."

"Kill her!" said a woman.

Multiple people came rushing towards Aiza. She was not scared anymore. She had no scope to run away, so she focused her energy to fight. She formed a huge sand arm behind her and slid it across the ground, throwing away all the people in her way. More were coming in, Aiza slammed the hand on the ground and released a shockwave to shoved everyone back.

It was chaos, sand and dust was making the visibility low, Aiza had no intention of stopping. She knew her enemies would not stop. Aiza slid her huge hand arm again to remove enemies trying to stand up.

BANG!

Aiza felt pain in her right chest. The sand arm she had formed above her fell down lifeless. Aiza fell to her knees and coughed blood. The bullet hole leaking blood from her body weakened her. She gave it her all to get up, she had to protect her kids.

BANG!

Another gunshot came on Aiza's left hand. It was enough to put down. Aiza's head bashed on the ground as she fell in pain.

"Good, now kill her!" said a man in the crowd. "Then we'll send the kids back to Human Earth to live or die."

"I'll do it."

A woman came forward with a dagger. She walked near Aiza and picked her head up by her hair and placed the dagger near her sweaty throat and said,

"Shame on you, bearing children for a human."

"I will not let anyone take my kids away—" Aiza said as blood came out of her mouth. "I am ashamed to give you all a chance."

"What—"

That woman could not finish, a sand made thorn had risen from the ground and impaled her throat. She fell down lifeless. Aiza got up and just flicked her hand. Sand all around them rose up and attacked every enemy in the area. Sand formed in various shapes of blades, hands, animals, etc.

It was violent for a few seconds; the sound of screams in pain, breaking bones, sand blades impaling bodies, and twisting the necks of some enemies. It was all quiet then. Aiza fell on the ground from exhaustion, she crawled her way to her kids, leaving a blood trail behind. A few feet felt so far, but she reached her kids, wrapped her hand around them as they cried. That was how she was found.

The Army Captains were too late and she had already passed away. Her kids were fine. Anthony handled most on his own, but he could not be saved when he ran out of power. The only message the Army and the Masters received from the incident was how cruel their own people were.
