The Dark Lord was right next to them. Raymond, Katie, and Eve had absolutely no energy left to save themselves, let alone deal with the evil being in front of them.

Aynor did not seem to pay any attention to the three near him. He just silently passed across them and walked further into the cave. He just walked calmly and his ragged robes started to get normal with each step he took.

"Good job," Aynor said, he pointed at unconscious Captain Ellie, "taking care of this one. She was already on Domino's list."

Raymond felt a sudden gush of adrenaline and rage. He did not like how Aynor could say something like that when he himself was known for his evil deeds. He had never seen Aynor, he only came to know about him when Eve whispered a few seconds ago. But Raymond felt angry and leapt forward with flames around his fist.

"Raymond, no!" Eve yelled.

It was too late, Raymond was already on his way and yelled,

"FIRE FIST!"

Aynor took no effort grabbing Raymond's burning fist and kicking him back towards his friends. Then he continued walked further as if nothing had happened.

"Trust me," he said, his voice echoing through the empty, silent cave, "you cannot give me the fight like the one I just came from. That human boy was amazing for his age. Accompanied by a Master and his student. Every one was amazing there. Even the kid who used her eyes to control Elements."

Those words were a huge indicator towards Aarav and Annie. Eve wondered what had happened there. She could not presume anything by the 'past tense' sentences which Aynor had used. But she knew, if Aynor was there, it would not have been easy for their team.

Aynor stood up a rock and waved his hand at the ground. Black smoke came out and floated along the ground. Eve felt and urge to do something. She knew Raymond and Katie were totally out and it was bad of her to expect them to take action. She only had one gamble left to play.

Eve took a deep breath, took a step forward and suddenly, a slime like black matter came out of Eve's shoulder and attacked Aynor. That huge matter swatted Aynor away and interrupted him.

"I will not let you awaken the undead!" Eve yelled.

Raymond and Katie were shocked. They did not understand what that black stuff was, coming out of Eve and attacking Aynor. It seemed evil without a doubt.

"Are you alright, Eve?" Raymond asked.

"I'm fine," she said, "Stand back, you two are hurt, let me protect you this time, I'll do my best."

Eve was glad no more questions came from her friends. It was the first time she let her strange powers out. She had never mentioned anything about that to anyone. It was uncontrollable when she was sad, that's how Alice and Annie saw it back at the dormitory of Elemental Academy.

Besides them, only Master Ellendun, Master Wyngaf, Master Owens, and her father knew. They knew it as Master Owens had rescued her as a child when she and her sister June went into the Dark Forest and encountered a ghost. That was the first time Eve saw that black energy leaking from her body. And it happened again and again when she felt sad or was dreaming something bad.

As Eve had kept that strange power hidden and never practised using it or mastering it, she had absolutely no confidence she could do anything meaningful in front of the Dark Lord. Her legs were trembling right from the start, but she did not want the Army of the Undead to wake up, and she could not dive out as Magic was blocking it.

Aynor floated in the air and came back where he stood before. He was unhurt.

"This is interesting," he said. "Do you even know what this power is, girl? I advise that you know more about it before using it in a fight."
