I was surrounded by dead people.
People I knew. Storm was laying in an awkward position with her left arm underneath her back. A large red spot was formed on her stomach.
I tried not to throw up as I saw numerous students and teacher thrown across the field I was in.
The sound of a choking gasp made me lift my head up.
"Bobby!" I screamed as Victor sliced Bobby's side.
I rushed to Bobby's side, ignoring the fact that Victor was right there.
"Bobby! Bobby, look at me!" I was panicking. Bobby was a great guy and he was dying all because of me.
"Get away from here, Embry." Bobby whispered, gripping my hand. "Don't let Victor get to you."
"Please-" I was cut off when Victor grabbed my shoulders and threw me back a good ten feet.
I landed harshly on my back, gasping for air.
"Embry-Lynn." I could just barely hear a whisper.
I glanced to my left to see Remy laying there.
"R-Remy." I gasped out, trying to catch my breath as I moved to hold his head in my lap.
"I ain't gonna make it, sweetheart." His voice was quiet and raspy.
"Yes, yes you are. You have to make it. I need you, Remy." I shook my head, brushing his shoulder length hair back repeatedly.
"Don't ever let Victor guide you to self destruction, okay?"
"Remy." I murmured. His eyes started to close as his chest quit moving. "REMY!" I shook his body to try to get a reaction out of him, but nothing happened.
I cried out in pain as Victor dug his sharp nails into my right shoulder, dragging me back as he smirked.
"Let's get this over with." Victor turned me around to him, making me lose contact with Remy's dead body.
"Victor!" Logan roared as he jumped his brother, stabbing Victor through the back with his long metal claws.
Victor cried out in pain slightly and grabbed my throat.
"Let her go!" Logan shouted.
"Never! Not until I feel her heart stop."
Victor was finding it satisfying as he broke the skin on my neck-
"EMBRY!" Logan was shaking my shoulders when my eyes flew open.
I was breathing heavy when I sat up, my chest rising and falling heavily and unevenly.
I wiped my messy hair out of my eyes as I looked around the room.
Remy was off to the side behind Logan, holding his wrist tightly as Jean looked at it.
Xavier sat in the doorway with Storm behind him.
"Take a deep breath, Embry." Xavier spoke to me via telepathy.
"I-I can't." I choked out, feeling my chest tightening.
The room was shaking and I could hear the panic in everyone's voice, all the students, all the professors, and other voices in my head.
"Look at me! Hey! Look at me." Logan held my face gently in his large hands, making me look into his eyes. "Close your eyes and stop all of this. You're going to bring the school down and kill innocent people. Think of the students here. They're kids, Embry-Lynn."
