"Can I.... Should I come with you?" I asked Logan, my eyes flickering from his over to Storm.
The X-Men were getting ready to go to London, where they'd be attempting to stop Magneto and whoever the hell was helping him.
Magneto was causing a massive traffic jam on the London bridge.
"I don't know, Em." He admitted, looking over his shoulder to Storm.
"I think it would be best for you to stay here, Embry." She shook her head gently. "We can work on your mutation though, if you'd like to become an X-Man."
"I just.... Remy's going with you." I laced my fingers in Logan's. "Keep him safe."
"M'a grown ass man, Embry-Lynn." Remy spoke from the doorway. "I can handle myself."
"I got it." Logan assured me quietly.
"I'll just stay here and lose my mind." I sat down heavily in a chair. We were in the Professor's study, getting ready. Professor Xavier himself had left a while ago to talk with someone important, but I didn't know who.
"You'll be okay." Peter spoke from where he leaned against the back of the chair I was in. "We'll be back before you know it."
"But I'm getting a bad feeling about this."
"Could just be cause you haven't eaten a damn thing all day." Remy said.
"No." I stuck my tongue out at him. "I'm serious."
"If you go, Embry, it brings the risk of the bridge coming down up." Jean bluntly stated. "You haven't controlled your mutation yet. Just stay here. We can keep you posted."
I nodded my head softly, understanding her words.
"You'll be okay here." Logan knelt down in front of me. "We'll be back before ya know it."
My eyes just looked into his deep brown ones. Damn, they were gorgeous. I leaned forward and kissed his lips gently, but the moment lasted only seconds.
"Alright, ladies and gentlemen." Professor Xavier grabbed everyone's attention as he entered the room. "It seems as though I will be traveling with you all to London."
"Why?" Storm asked, crinkling her brows together.
"You know how humans get when something like this happens." Jean replied before the Professor could. "Riots against mutants start."
"But Magneto hasn't killed anyone or attacked anyone." Kitty objected.
"Yet." Logan stood up to his full height. "It's only a matter of time before he does."
"I intend on preventing any anti-mutant outbreaks before they start." The Professor started. "And a trip to speak with a few of our friends in London is overdue."
"How long will you be gone?" I asked.
"At most, two days."
My eyes met Logan's and he gave me an apologetic look.

The X-Men were gone within a half an hour.
I watched as the jet disappeared into the sky and then I went into the school.
Two days with neither Logan nor Remy. This would be tough.

Bobby had to stay behind because he'd injured himself playing football outside with a group of guys, so we were currently watching tv in my room.
