~~Monday Afternoon, L.A.~~

Normal POV

After the past week in London, I decided on spending the weekend with Dad, Maisie and Lizzie to try and make things right after what I put them all through. I am so thankful Lizzie didn't turn her back on me, but instead she was so supportive. I managed to get a few hours sleep before I was awake again, but Lizzie was quick to comfort me as we just laid in bed together and talked everything through, including telling her about the money. As much as she wanted to scold me, we talked it out fully calmly. I am beyond thankful to have her by my side. And since we were up pretty early on Saturday morning, we decided on making everyone breakfast before we spent the day going for a walk now that the snow is pretty much cleared up. We even went out for Lunch, Lizzie insisting on treating us all once we found somewhere before we came home and watched some films together. Maisie and Lizzie made dinner together and Emily came over to spend the night since she had some time off work. Dad then decided on taking us all out for dinner on Sunday, so we went for a very British Carvery, which Lizzie loved. It was amazing spending time all 5 of us. Seeing Maisie so upbeat and her usual self again made the weekend even better. When we came back on Sunday, Lizzie and I went upstairs to pack for L.A. Now that everything is settling down, we both seem to be feeling a lot better leaving for L.A. Once we had packed everything up, we went downstairs to join everyone sitting in the living room. I could tell Lizzie was a little emotional knowing we were leaving, but she managed to keep smiling as we just soaked up the night surrounded by my little family. Saying goodbye this morning was pretty emotional, especially between Maisie and Lizzie. The bond they have already is so special and it just makes me fall for Lizzie more and more seeing how amazing she is with my family. No one has come into my life the way Lizzie has, which only shows me just how incredible she is. So when I eventually managed to get Lizzie to the check in desk, she needed a lot of comfort as we made our way towards the First Class lounge. I'm still not used to flying First Class! So classy..!

I got completely lost in the book I am reading as Lizzie slept in the seat beside me, her head on my shoulder as she is curled up in the seat next to me. It still amazes me how she can curl up and sleep pretty much anywhere and still look so perfect doing so. I'm snapped from my book when the seatbelt sign flashes on, meaning I have to wake Lizzie from her sleep ready for us coming in to land. I put my marker in between the pages and close my book, putting it to one side before I turn my attention to the sleeping beauty beside me. I carefully turn my body towards her, running my fingers along Lizzie's face to move the few strands of hair covering her eyes. "Baby.." I whisper a couple of times, trying to coax her awake as gently as I can, but she doesn't budge. "Lizzie, baby, we are landing. You need your seatbelt on." I say a little louder next to her ear before leaving small kisses on her neck and cheek. She soon starts to wake up slowly, her eyes flickering to adjust to the lights on the plane. As soon as she realises it is me leaving small kisses under her ear, she quickly leans into my lips, giggling adorably as she wakes herself up. "Hey you.." I whisper near her ear once I know she is more awake, making her just giggle even more as she snuggles into me more. "Hi Soldier.." She whispers back with a slightly sleepy voice. "I didn't want to wake you, but the seatbelt sign came on a minute ago.." I whisper into the small space between us, feeling her smile against my shoulder. "It's okay Angel.." She says a little more awake before sitting herself up to stretch out her arms and legs. I put away my book and headphones into my bag and move the table back up before putting my seatbelt on as Lizzie does the same beside me now she is awake properly. She is so adorable. "Enjoy your sleep baby?" I ask as I turn back to look at my gorgeous girlfriend. "I did.. Was I asleep long?" She asks and I just shake my head. "Not long at all don't worry.." She beams back before lying her head back on my shoulder as we both feel the plane starting to descend, her hands playing with the rings on my fingers as she pulls my hand over onto her lap.
