~~Friday Afternoon, L.A.~~

Lizzie POV

As much as Scarlett and Rose turning up at my door this morning was very unexpected, it's actually been really nice seeing them both again. I've missed spending quality time with Rose, it feels like it has been so long since I last seen her. And having Scarlett by my side is always special, she is one of my closest friends and has been since we grew close on the Set of Age of Ultron. We just clicked and I couldn't see my life without her in it. She's always there for me, no matter what. She was the first person I went too when I found out about Robbie cheating and she didn't hesitate to come from New York to make sure I was okay. Even though I had to stop her from going after him, she was so supportive and was there every step of our break up. I couldn't have dealt with it as well as I did if it wasn't for Scarlett. And now, seeing her and Harley getting along so well means the World too me. She never got along with Robbie, she would tolerate him for me but I knew how she felt about him. She never understood why we were together and always pointed out how I deserved better than what he was giving me. But with Harley, it's like they have known each other for years. They have very similar humour so it didn't take long for them to get along. I still remember seeing them together on Tom's Instagram the night I met Harley, and how they were laughing and talking together even then. As much as I worry with how close they seemed that night, and the way Scarlett was looking at Harley, I don't want too worry that they got too close that night. I meant to ask Harley months ago about it, but I never did and now it would seem a little weird bringing it up so I don't. I know Harley isn't the type to do that, and neither is Scarlett, but I also wouldn't blame either of them if something did happen. Surely they would have told me if it did by now.. Right? Especially with how they harmlessly flirt between each other in front of me. I shake away the creeping thoughts, turning my attention towards where Harley and Rose are now splashing around in the Sea, not going too deep since Harley didn't bring any spare clothes. But where they are now is more than enough since we can hear Rose's laughter from here as Harley runs around like a big kid with her.

"She is so good with kids, I've never seen Rose take to someone so easily." Scarlett breaks my attention away from watching them both splashing and laughing together. Her eyes still glued on them as I turn to face where she is sitting beside me. "I know, I'm a little jealous she's stealing my girlfriend from me today." I reply laughing lightly, Scarlett quickly doing the same as she turns to me again. "It seems like you've had her all to yourself since leaving London." Scarlett teases and I can't help but giggle, knowing she is right. "Apart from working, we've been spending all our time together just us since we got here like 3 weeks ago." I admit a little shyly, but Scarlett just laughs knowingly. "Seriously?" She jokes and I nod my head in reply. "Yep. Well, we went for dinner with my Mom and Trent last week, but other than that it's just been us." I explain further and see her smile grow as she listens. "I don't blame you Liz. Take advantage of the time she is not on Tour." I feel my smile falter slightly at the mention of her going on Tour again, but I quickly shake it off, not wanting to be thinking about that right now. "I've never been with someone I want to be around 24/7 but with Harley, I never want to miss a second of being with her. No matter what we are doing.. I keep getting worried that I'm going to be too overbearing but she never complains or pushes me away. She's just there for me no matter what I need, sometimes before I even know what I need, she knows already." I ramble a little, and instantly I see Scarlett beaming over at my words. "I'm so happy for you Liz. I always told you that you deserved better. And now you have it." She adds and it makes my heart glow hearing her say that about Harley. "She's too good to be true sometimes.." I mumble, but Scarlett catches my words as she nods her head softly in agreement. "How has she been since the Holidays?" Scarlett asks and I smile at the thought of how better she is since we arrived in L.A. "So much better. She's sleeping properly, her mood is up. She seems to be so relaxed." I tell her easily and her smile is so genuine hearing how Harley is doing melts my heart. She really does care so much for her. I love my best friend, she's one of a kind.

We end up falling into a small comfortable silence as we both turn our attention back to where Harley is carrying Rose around and splashing through the water with her. Her laughter is so loud, it's adorable seeing them like this. I've not had the chance to see Harley around kids like this, but watching her now with Rose is causing me to fall in love with her all over again. My mind flashes with the memory of when Harley ran over to take care of the little boy on the beach when we were in Newcastle, my smile growing remembering how sweet and caring she was with him. She really is a natural with kids. She'd make an amazing Mom.. and I hope I get to be the one who she has kids with. I'd love to be able to wake up every morning to Harley being the most amazing parent, in a house we can call our own. It may be too soon to be thinking that way, but I can't help it. She really is it for me. "Would you have kids with Harley?" Scarlett asks as if from no where, breaking our small silence. "Without a doubt." I answer, my eyes still glued to Harley and Rose as I do. "Too bad she can't get you pregnant, imagine both your genes together. You'd have some beautiful kids." Scarlett rambles and I can't help but laugh and turn to see her very serious expression as she looks between us both. "I'd love a little Harley running around. But I don't think she wants to be the one to carry." I add, remembering parts of conversations we've shared in the past. "Why don't you carry one for her? Be a sort of surrogate for her?" Scarlett thinks out loud, surprising me with how quick she came up with the idea. "I never thought about that.." I drag out, letting her words sink in. It's actually not a bad idea at all. I'd carry Harley's baby without any hesitation. Maybe it's something to ask her one day? "How many do you want?" Scarlett asks as we both turn to carry on our conversation. "2 or 3 maybe. I'd love twins.." I say a little excitedly. "There you have it. Have one pregnancy with your genes, then one with Harley's.. You never know, twins run in your family." She rambles and I can't help the huge beaming smile that pulls at my lips just at he thought of having a family with Harley. But then the more I let myself think about it, the more doubts that creep into my head..

"I just don't know when.. I mean, she loves her job so much. I don't think I'd want any kids whilst she is away on Tour in case something happened to her. But I'm also not getting any younger.." I ramble a little nervously, letting the negative thoughts rush into my head all at once. "Talk to her about it." Scarlett tells me with a soft smile, knowing how my thoughts can get the better of me, especially with something like this. "Maybe.. It's still early." I add but she quickly scoffs and waves me off. "Time makes no difference Lizzie, especially with someone like Harley. Anyone can see your made for each other. Don't wait around if you know she is the one." She vents and I love seeing this side to Scarlett when she gets passionate about something. "I really think she is.." My smile creeps back onto my face as I think about how many times I have turned to steal a glance at Harley, knowing how I want my future to be with her by my side. No matter what. "Then tell her how you feel. She might be waiting to hear it from you." Scarlett quickly jumps to tell me, her bright eyes meeting mine. She really does like Harley. "You think?" I question, having some slight doubts about bringing some serious things up with Harley so soon. "That girl adores you Liz. She'd do anything for you. And seeing how she is with Rose only confirms that she is the right person for you. But I also know she constantly thinks about you, so she will be waiting for you to tell her when your ready to take the next steps. She never wants to push you or put any pressure on you. So you need to bring it up with her so she knows where your head is at." Scarlett vents and it's scary how right she is about her. "She's something else.." I mumble, my eyes wandering back to Harley. My mind flashing with all the times she has put me above everything, even herself. She really is too good to be true. I'm so lucky to have someone like her in my life. "Don't wait around Liz. If it feels right for you and Harley, go for it. Who cares how long you have been together, it's your life." Scarlett adds, smiling over as she watches Rose splashing up at Harley as she giggles adorably. She's right. Why should I wait if I know this is what I want. I just hope Harley wants the same thing.

"Is she really the one for you Liz? Can you see a future with Harley?" Scarlett asks after a few minutes of silence and I can't help my mouth running away from me, answering without any hesitation. "I've never been more sure of anything Scar. I can't imagine my life without her in it." I look over and catch Scarlett's grin, making my cheeks blush slightly at how easy my answer was. "Your so smitten. And by what I seen of Harley's body this morning, you seem to be over the nerves in the bedroom huh?" She teases and my cheeks heat up instantly. "Behave yourself.." I push her away playfully, making her just laugh at my sudden shyness. "Come on Liz! It's just me.. Is she good?" She teases further and my cheeks are on fire right now as I lie back and hide my face. "Stop being so coy Olsen and tell me!" She adds and I can't help the nervous giggling behind my hands as I nod my head slowly. "Really good.." I mumble behind my hands and instantly Scarlett cheers in victory. "Damn Liz! Is she THAT good?" She nips at my arms, causing me to pull my hands away from my face, showing off my flushed face as I fight her off. "Yes okay! She's incredible, out of this World, best sex I have ever had! Is that what you wanted..?" I give in, bursting out laughing as Scarlett's eyes widen in shock at my words. "Wow oh wow Elizabeth Olsen you little minx." She teases and I just roll my eyes in reply to her constant teasing. "Okay stop now! I've told you enough already.." I finally feel my face starting to calm down as Scarlett holds her hand up in defence. "I'll just have to ask Harley for the details instead!" She adds mischievously and I just laugh at her playful antics. "Your insatiable Johansson." I call her out and she just grins smugly at my words. "I know. But on a very serious note.. Best you've ever had? Really?" She asks and the look in her eyes gives me the impression that she wants a serious answer this time. So, I slowly nod my head and bite my bottom lip just at the thought of Harley.. "No one even comes close to the way Harley makes me feel. She is ridiculously good.." I mumble shyly, but loud enough for Scarlett to hear every word. "Damn.. Your a lucky girl Liz." She teases lightly, but there is a genuine tone to her words. "I really am." I agree with a beaming smile, just as we both hear a very giggly Rose being carried up the beach on Harley's shoulder as they come back to where we are sitting with huge smiles on their faces.

"Have you both had fun?" Scarlett teases as they get close enough to where we are sitting, my eyes glued to Harley's strong arms holding up Rose as if she weighs nothing before she drops her down gently onto the towel infront of Scarlett so she can get dried off and changed. "We had so much fun Mommy!" Rose yells excitedly as Scarlett wraps her in a towel and cuddles her in. She's not soaked, but she has deffinently had a lot of fun. "That's great bug, now let's get you changed so we can go and get something to eat yeah?" Scarlett says as Harley grabs a bottle of water then comes to sit infront of where I am sitting, resting her head back on my lap after she has a drink. "Hey Soldier, had fun?" I tease as my hands find her hair easily. "I have.. But she has too much energy. I can't keep up." She complains playfully, making us all laugh. "I've seen you train, you can keep up no problem." I argue playfully, making her chuckle lightly as her head snuggles into my lap a little more. "You enjoyed your relaxing time in the sun?" She asks looking up into my eyes, and I can't help but melt under her gaze. "I have. Well, besides from Scarlett's relentless teasing." I admit and she quickly laughs and glances over to where Scarlett is sitting behind her, Rose now sitting on her lap having a drink of water now she is dry and changed. "You picking on my girlfriend Scarjo!?" She calls over, snapping Scarlett's attention over to us both with a slight frown on her face. "What you going to do about it Captain?" She challenges and I already can't help but laugh at them both. "It's not very far to carry you down and dunk you in that Sea Johansson." Harley counters and I see a glimpse of fear in Scarlett's eyes, knowing Harley is deadly serious and could do it very easily. "Yeah, yeah whatever." She waves her off, rolling her eyes with a slight grin on her face. "That's what I thought.." Harley smirks victorious before Rose makes her way over to sit with Harley, melting my heart seeing her take to Harley so easily. I turn to see Scarlett admiring them both as Harley quickly takes the book from Rose's hand and begins to read it aloud for them both, a soft smile growing on her lips as she watches them both together.

We end up all sitting and listening to Harley read from Rose's book, not realising how long we stayed sitting in the Sun before Rose mentions being hungry. And suddenly we all agree as the hunger hits us. "Let's pack up then we can go find somewhere for something to eat." Scarlett tells Rose, who quickly gets up and starts packing her things away as the rest of us pack up the bags before we all head towards the car. Rose is quick to grab onto Harley's free hand and they end up walking a little ahead of where I am walking beside Scarlett, who's smile has never faltered. "I've been ditched by my own daughter today." She complains playfully and I giggle at her fake hurt. "It is very cute.. Although I can't deny I miss my girlfriend." I add and she laughs at my comment. "It is really nice seeing her take to Harley so easily though. I always worry when it comes to meeting new people, but she has taken to Harley without hesitation." Scarlett gushes and I can't hide my beaming smile. It's nice seeing Scarlett so relaxed when it comes to Rose. She is so protective over her when is comes to meeting new people, but seeing Rose with Harley has made her instantly relax. And we both end up just watching the two of them swing their arms between them as Rose talks Harley's ear off and Harley gives her ever bit of her attention. We all make it back to the car and pack everything up before we get back into the same seats we came in and Harley begins to drive us back as Scarlett searches for somewhere for us to stop off and eat at. Rose is a little quieter this time around, the running around on the beach tiring her out slightly so she ends up nodding off whilst we drive around. I take the opportunity to reply to some messages and e-mails as Harley and Scarlett find somewhere for us to eat at where we are less likely to be seen at. Once I am done on my phone, I find myself just admiring my Soldier as she is driving, her sunglasses resting on the bridge of her nose as she uses one hand to drive and the other is resting on the open window to her side. She is so hot, no matter what she does. Scarlett is right, I really am smitten. Head over heels, madly in love with Harley Lane.

~~Friday, Late Afternoon, L.A.~~

Normal POV

We finally manage to find somewhere to stop and have something to eat. I park up in the small parking space around the corner and we all climb out and head in together. We get seated quickly, thankfully no one seems to flicker at seeing Scarlett and Lizzie so we sit down and order some drinks before turning to look at the menu. I'm sitting beside Lizzie on one side of the booth as Scarlett and Rose are sitting opposite us. The staff bring our drinks over in no time before taking our food orders, as well as dropping some pictures and crayons for Rose to sit and do whilst we wait for our food. "This is a nice little hidden gem." Lizzie comments and we all agree easily, taking in the small little restraunt as Rose quickly gets working on her pictures, getting lost in her own little World. "So how long are you both staying in L.A together for?" Scarlett asks and instantly I feel Lizzie's hand reach out for mind under the table, bringing it back to rest on top of her lap as she begins to play with the rings on my fingers. "We head back to London at the end of January. We are spending the weekend together with Harley's Dad and Maisie before she goes to the Barracks for two weeks." Lizzie explains as Scarlett leans her elbows on the table and gives us both her undivided attention. "Just two weeks?" Scarlett asks and I nod my head in reply. "I am leading a training course for a group of Medics in London." I add and she hums in acknowledgement. "Sounds important Captain." She jokes, easing the small tension I can feel building as we talk about my delicate career, knowing that Lizzie is always worrying about the chance of me going back on Tour at anytime. "I suppose it is." I comment and feel Lizzie grip onto my hand a little tighter. "Are you flying back to L.A after the weekend Liz?" She directs, and I smile seeing her hint of worry about her best friend. "I am. I'm really busy for those two weeks actually." Lizzie explains and I turn to give her a comforting smile, knowing we are both going to hate being apart again. "But, it will all be worth the hard work so we can enjoy your birthday as soon as those two weeks are done." I quickly add and I catch Lizzie's lips break into a smile at my words. "Oh yes that's right! Any big plans?" Scarlett asks and Lizzie seems to perk up instantly as she tells us both about how her Mom is planning on having a BBQ at her place for the family and friends since Lizzie didn't want anything huge this year, quickly telling Scarlett that they are invited. We all fall into easy conversation before our food arrives and we all easily dig in, the sea air making us all very hungry.

After finishing our food, we decide on ordering some desserts since Rose was quick to ask for some Ice cream after finishing all of her food. Scarlett quickly agreed and we all ordered before Scarlett was up to take Rose to the bathroom. As soon as they both left the table, I take the opportunity to turn my full attention to Lizzie as she is still nervously fiddling with the rings on my fingers. "Baby, is everything okay? You've been a little quiet since we left the beach.." I ask gently, hoping she will open up whilst we are on our own. "I'm okay.. Just talking about you going to work reminded me that our L.A. bubble isn't forever." She explains, but I know that there is something more to it. She's is deffinently in her head about something more than just that. "I know it's not forever, but it's only two weeks, and then we'll be back together ready to celebrate your birthday." I try and comfort her as best I can, and it seems to work as a small smile breaks across her face. "I know. I'm okay.." Lizzie repeats but I can still see the spiralling behind her eyes. I don't push anymore, leaning forward to give her a quick kiss before we hear Rose and Scarlett coming back towards the table. They quickly rush over and join us again, just as our desserts are being brought over. We all laugh as we see Rose's eyes widen at the size of the Ice cream she ordered, Lizzie quickly taking a picture since it is pretty much the size of her head. "There is no way your eating all that Rose!" I joke and she quickly frowns whilst laughing as she takes her spoon and eyes up where to start. "Oh she will." Scarlett adds and we all laugh before digging in to our desserts. Lizzie quickly shares her brownie with me before I share my cheesecake with her. Scarlett is quick to tease us for sharing our food before she steals some of my cheesecake, arguing it looked so much better than hers. I get done first, and by the looks of things we are going to be here a while with how determined Rose is to finish her ice cream and her colouring so I head up to the bar and order some coffees for us and another juice for Rose. As I am standing at the bar, I take a look outside and my heart drops when I see a group of paparazzi waiting outside the main doors of the restraunt. One guess who they are here for..

As soon as I place the three coffees on the table, I instictively reach for Lizzie's hand, knowing what I am about to say is going to unsettle her nerves. I hate how much these people with cameras in their hands effect her, the fact that they have no sense of personal space and are very persistent, makes everyone they target feel on edge. Lizzie seems to pick up on my small gesture as she turns her body slightly to face where I am sitting beside her. I turn and check to make sure Rose is occupied, catching Scarlett's attention before I turn back and take a small breath. "There are some paparazzi outside.." I tell them in a hushed, calm tone of voice. Not wanting to alarm anyone. I feel Lizzie grip my hand between hers as Scarlett instantly looks towards Rose as she is finishing colouring in her picture. "How many?" Scarlett asks, matching my hushed tone across the table. "A few. Right outside the main entrance." I explain further and Scarlett nods softly as I see her mind ticking over, no doubt trying to come up with a plan of action for us to get out of here. I let her think to herself as we all drink our coffees, Lizzie's fingers mindlessly tracing patterns up and down my palm and over my wrist. I can see her eyes flickering across towards the windows, trying to see who I am talking about. "Harley, will you carry Rose out for me? At least if she is in your arms, they might leave her alone not realising who she is?" Scarlett thinks aloud but quietly, not letting on to Rose that we are stressing over this. "Of course Scarlett, whatever you need." I reply easily, wanting to help however I can. "I'll go with Scarlett, when they are focused on us out front, you can get past with Rose." Lizzie adds and I snap my head over in surprise, not expecting her to be so open with the idea of facing them head on. "Are you both sure?" I ask glancing between Scarlett and Lizzie, lacing my fingers with Lizzie's for some comfort for her. "We'll take care of each other. You can protect Rose." Scarlett quickly agrees, nodding over and smiling with Lizzie who quickly smiles back. "Okay, as long as your both sure, we can do that. I'll take Rose up the street and wait for you both there just in case they follow you to the car." I suggest and they both agree without hesitation. I hate having to do this..

It doesn't take much longer for Rose to give up her attempt on her Ice cream, and I can't deny how surprised I am with how much she got through. I feel Lizzie lean into my side as we both laugh at Rose getting her face cleaned by Scarlett, so much chocolate and sprinkles everywhere. "Mom! Stop!" Rose whines adorably as Scarlett uses some wipes on her face. "I love you.." I turn and whisper near Lizzie's ear since she is more leaned into my side now. "I love you too Soldier." She mumbles into my arm as she squeezes my hand and forearm with her hands. "Shall we head out?" Scarlett suggests, a hint of nervousness in her voice. "Sure, let's get going." I agree and look over to Lizzie who is smiling softly with slightly glossy eyes. I know she will be worrying. But I also know that Scarlett won't let anything happen to her, and she will do the same for Scarlett. We start getting our things together, but just as Scarlett lifts Rose from her seat, she quickly reaches over for Lizzie who gladly takes her into her arms. The sight alone making my heart pound in my chest. She really will make an amazing Mother one day. I hope I get to be a part of it. "Auntie Lizzie, can we stay with you and Harley tonight please?" Rose whispers and I can't help but laugh at her puppy dog eyes. Lizzie is in trouble. She instantly melts and nods her head with a huge smile. "But you need to ask your Mom first bug." I smile as she puts Rose on the floor and rushes over to Scarlett who lifts her into her arms. "Mommy.." She begins and Scarlett gives her a knowing look as soon as she hears her tone of voice. "Yes sweetie?" Scarlett replies as I feel Lizzie come over and slip under my arm, instictively I wrap my arm around her to hold her close as she rests her head against my side. "Can we stay at Auntie Lizzie's house tonight?" Rose's sweet, innocent voice asks and I can already see Scarlett smiling. "Have you already asked Auntie Lizzie?" Rose excitedly nods her head in reply, her bright eyes waiting for an answer like it's life or death. I catch Scarlett and Lizzie have a silent conversation before she turns back to Rose with an even bigger smile. "Course we can." Rose quickly cheers and wiggles adorably, making us all laugh before we all seem to remember what we are about to face outside.

"Okay Rose, your going to go with Harley whilst I go with Auntie Lizzie to get the car. Is that okay?" Scarlett checks and Rose quickly nods her head confidently before turning to where I am standing with Lizzie by my side. "Okay Mommy. I can do that." Rose quickly agrees before reaching over with both her arms. I gently move away from Lizzie and reach out to take Rose into my arms, smiling at how easily she comes to me considering she only met me today. "Hey little one." I say softly, tickling her sides so she giggles adorably. "Ready Liz?" Scarlett checks and I look to see how nervous Lizzie looks. "You two sure your okay with this?" I check and Scarlett is first to nod her head confidently. "Lizzie? Do you need me with you?" I make sure to watch her reaction, and as much as I hate it, I know she will want to put Rose's safety first. "I've got Scarlett. I'll be okay. Just take care of Rose." She whispers as Rose is lying on my shoulder, her Ice cream coma coming on strong all of a sudden. "Anything happens.. I'm less than a minute away." I tell her and she smiles and nods her head softly, her hand running up and down Rose's back. "I know." I leave a kiss on Lizzie's forehead before she gets her bag and walks over to where Scarlett is. I give them both a nod, letting them know I'm ready to move when they are. "See you in a minute." Scarlett tells me with a soft smile as Lizzie reaches her side. They give each other a look before walking towards the main doors. As soon as they open, I hear clicks and see flashes, which catches Rose's attention as she shoots her head up in that direction. "Are those the people who take pictures of my Mom Harley?" Rose asks in a tired voice, her grip getting a little tighter. "It is Rose. But don't worry, I've got you and Auntie Lizzie and your Mom have each other." I comfort her and thankfully, it seems to work as she smiles softly before dropping her head back on my shoulder and wraps her arms around my neck. "Captain Harley to the rescue." She cheers sweetly and I can't help but laugh as I slowly make my way towards the entrance. As soon as I see there is no one there, I quickly get us out the doors and onto the street. Rose clings on a little tighter when we hear voices behind us but I keep moving up the street, checking to make sure we stay out of anyone's view.

I get us to the end of the street and quickly turn on my heels as I notice a crowd of people following a car. I know instantly it is Lizzie's car and they are blocking their way out. I hate not being able to do anything, but thankfully I see the car moving so I know they are safe inside. Rose is pretty much falling asleep again so I keep my eyes on the car as it finally makes it through the crowd and speeds away in our direction, leaving the cameras behind. It only takes a minute or two for the car to pull up beside where I am standing, a shaken up Lizzie behind the wheel. She quickly gets out, along with Scarlett, who takes Rose from my arms to get her into her seat. She nods, letting me know she is okay so I rush around and pull Lizzie into my arms without saying a word. She instantly clings onto the back of my t-shirt, her breathing calming as soon as she is in my arms. I leave a few kisses on her head, whispering in her ear to help her relax. And thankfully, she does. "Let me drive us home." I suggest softly and she nods her head, handing me the keys. "I love you." I quickly tell her and a small smile creeps onto her lips. "I love you too." She whispers back before walking around to get into the back with Rose, who has woken up again. We all get in the car, a small silence besides from the radio until Rose begins to chat with Lizzie. It doesn't take long for the two of them to start giggling, instantly making me feel better about how Lizzie is. "Thank you for taking care of Rose back there for me Harley." Scarlett quietly says, not to disturb the two kids in the back. "Anytime Scarlett, no need to thank me." I quickly tell her and she smiles softly in reply. "I can't believe how quickly she has taken to you, she has trouble meeting new people but she already loves you." She rambles a little, and I glance over and see how genuine her words are. Warming my heart as I let them sink in. "I'll take that as a compliment." I smile and look over to Scarlett, seeing her slightly glossy eyes which she quickly blinks away. I know Scarlett isn't big on showing her emotions with people, but I'm glad she doesn't hide them from me. She means so much to Lizzie, and therefore me too. "You should Captain." She jokes, nudging my arm playfully as we both laugh before we are both brought into Rose's conversation and laughter.

When we finally get back to Lizzie's place, we all unload the car and carry everything inside. Dumping it all in the kitchen to un pack and clean up as Rose decides on having a quick nap on the sofa. We make quick work of sorting through the bags before Lizzie and Scarlett head off to get the guest room ready. I offer to help, but Lizzie quickly comes to tell me she has it covered. "Go take a shower Soldier. We won't be long." Lizzie whispers against my lips. I can't help but smile, seeing her more relaxed after some time with Rose. "Yes boss." I reply cheekily, matching her calmer state. "Don't you forget it." She teases before pulling me in by my t-shirt, obviously forgetting about Scarlett just behind her. "Okay lovebirds, let's keep it PG." Scarlett jokes, breaking our kiss as we both laugh at her tone. "Second time you've interupted us Scarjo!" I tease back, making Lizzie giggle into my chest as I look over and see Scarlett with a smug grin on her face. "If I'm not getting any, neither are you two!" She adds and I can't help but burst out laughing at how direct she is. Deffinently my kind of banter. I can feel Lizzie giggling and shaking her head at her best friend before she pulls away and looks up with rosy cheeks. "She's terrible." We both laugh before I kiss her forehead and we part ways. I head off into the bedroom, finding some clothes and taking them into the bathroom to change into, just in case I get another unexpected guest at some point. I get a quick shower, getting rid of any sand and sea water before coming out and getting dressed into some joggers and a t-shirt just as I hear Lizzie coming into the bedroom. "Harley?" She calls just as I open the bathroom door. "Hey baby." I greet as she comes over and pulls me into a heated kiss without anymore words. I fall into her lips, grabbing at her waist to pull her impossibly closer as her hands claw at my t-shirt. I know this is her way of trying to forget, and as much as I hate when she hides how she is feeling, I know she will come and talk to me when she is ready. So I happily let her find comfort before we both pull away breathlessly. "I love you Harley, never forget that." She whispers ghosting my lips. "How could I ever forget something that means so much to me baby.."

I hope the rest of the day is better than what we just had to go through..
