~~Tuesday Morning, L.A.~~
Lizzie POV
It's been a very relaxing couple of days in L.A. Since I only had one meeting on Monday morning, I have been able to spend my first couple of days with Harley. We haven't been far, and neither of us have minded that since we never get tired of each other's company. After the incident at the Airport, I had to make sure to let my team know of what happened, and like always they were very supportive of both me and Harley. I explained everything after Harley helped me calm down, and they were quick to dispute any stories that tried to be published. That night, Harley took care of me, running me a calming bath and even cooking dinner for us both before we got an early night. The next day we both felt so much better after a much overdue good nights sleep. Even Harley managed to sleep more than she had been which was such a relief. We spent most of yesterday in my garden picking some fresh fruit and vegetables together. Well, I picked them as Harley held everything I needed and watched me with such adoring eyes I felt shy under her gaze. No one has ever made me feel so safe to just be myself around them, but Harley has this way of making me feel like I am her entire World no matter what. So doing something as simple as gardening with her by my side means more to me than she realises. The way she just watches me cut leaves and pick fruit with so much love and affection behind her deep hazel eyes. After spending most of the day outside, we spent the evening cooking together before settling in to watch a movie before I fell asleep in her arms. She must have carried me to bed as this morning I woke up in bed, but to my surprise I was alone. Once I woke myself up fully, I went to the bathroom, checking the room as I went before coming out towards the kitchen to find My Soldier. She was no where to be seen, until I caught sight of her outside doing a workout in the yard. Something I love to wake up too is the sight of a slightly sweaty Captain in my back yard, wearing only shorts and a sports bra under the early L.A sun. What. A. Sight. I couldn't help but admire her for a lot longer than I would like to admit before I brought her some water out and got a look up close and personal of my extremely fit Soldier.
"What has you laughing so much Soldier?" I ask across to where Harley is laying back on the blanket in my yard. After going out for a late breakfast together, we soon decided on coming home and spending some alone time before my team arrives later for us to get ready for later this evening. I look over at watch as Harley looks away from her phone screen, her eyes bright and smile full as she finds my gaze. "It's just Tom being, well, Tom.." She quickly replies, making me giggle at her slightly teasing tone about her Cousin as I crawl over to join her side, leaving my half open book behind. Harley quickly lowers her arm for me to crawl into her side, her other hand holding her phone up as it buzzes over and over again. "Leave Holland alone you." I tell her playfully as I lay down on her shoulder, making her laugh as she leaves a kiss on the side of my head before returning to her conversation. "He is bored now he is on his own in L.A waiting for the Premiere so he is pestering me to keep himself entertained." Harley explains as she sends him a reply. I can't help but laugh along with her playful tone, seeing her so care free is something I want for her all the time. No matter where we are in the World. I leave her to focus on her conversation with Tom for a little while longer before looking for the time on her phone, seeing we still have some time before my team arrive. "Why don't you invite him over? Rather than having to text all day?" I suggest, knowing he won't be staying too far away from here. She quickly stops typing a message and looks to where I am lying. "Really? You wouldn't mind?" She checks, making my smile grow impossibly wider. "Of course not.. You know how long it takes with my team to get ready so he can keep you company whilst I'm inside." I add and she beams back at me, grinning at the idea. "Your amazing baby." She quickly tells me, kissing my lips before turning to text Tom, no doubt inviting him here. He phone buzzes within seconds of her sending a message, making me giggle at his eagerness. "That was quick." I tease, making her laugh as she nods her head in reply. "He's on his way." She tells me, so we can slowly get up and get ready for his arrival.
Nothing can wipe the smile from my face at seeing how excited Harley is to see Tom. She is practically bouncing in her seat as we are still sitting outside together waiting for him to arrive. They are the perfect mixture of Family and Best Friends, and I'm slightly jealous at how close they are with each other. They literally grew up together as best friends, and no matter where they are in the World, they always make time for each other. Tom is Harley's rock in so many ways, and I am so happy she has someone who she trusts whole-heartedly with anything. They have always been there for each other since being kids, and it is the sweetest thing to watch them together. It's still weird to think that Tom used to talk to everyone about his Best Friend on Set all the time, and never once did I picture it being Harley, never mind falling deeply in love with them one night in London. My thoughts are soon cut off by the door bell ringing through the house. Harley quickly jumps up from her seat and rushes through to the door as I slowly get up to follow her. As soon as the door is open, I hear loud laughter coming from both Harley and Tom as she welcomes him in. I just stand and watch them both laughing and cuddling each other as they make their way inside, instantly my eyes find the beers in Tom's hand. I look up and see him freeze a little before I start to laugh, easing his slight nervousness as I meet him half way to say hello. "It's so good to see you Holland." I quickly tell him as we share a warm hug. "It's great to see you too Lizzie! It's been too long." He replies sweetly before we pull apart and Harley takes the beers to put in the fridge before grabbing some bottles of water first. She hands us all one each before we head back outside, Tom quickly getting rid of his jacket as we grab a seat in the sun and get comfortable. "So, I hear someone has an interview tonight?" Tom asks in my direction, making me smile and nod my head in reply. "I sure do. But I always look forward to seeing James again." I add, making him smile and nod in agreement before we all fall into easy conversation, catching up on each other's lives since we last seen one another.
After catching up, I made us all something to eat, knowing we won't have time to have anything later before leaving for the Studio. We sat around the kitchen table laughing and eating together before Harley quickly offered to clean away the plates since I cooked. Tom took the opportunity to check in on how Harley is really doing, so I told him about the few sleepless nights and nightmares but then told him how well she is doing now to settle his worries before Harley joined us again. We got into conversation about Tom's recent work, but we were all cut off by the sound of the door bell again. "I'll get it." I announce, excusing myself from the table to answer the door. I am instantly greeted by my hair and make-up team, all smiles and excitement as I welcome them inside. They all filter inside, moving towards the kitchen where Harley and Tom are greeting everyone. Once everyone is inside, I make my way towards the kitchen, joining Harley's side as I gentle shoo her and Tom outside with a beer each. "That's rude.." She complains playfully, making me giggle as I stand at the door and kiss her slight pout away. "Go talk about Football with your bestie.. I need some pampering." I tease, making her laugh and shake her head softly. "Enjoy it baby." Harley whispers against my lips, giving me another kiss that earns some teasing noises from Tom behind her. "Your just jealous Holland!" She calls back before pecking my lips once more. "Behave yourself Soldier." I warn her playfully before pushing her chest carefully so she backs away from the door and turns to join Tom outside. I watch her sit with him then turn back and helping my team to set up at the kitchen table so we can get started. I go and change into something more comfortable to sit in and then come back to sit with my team as they get started on my look for tonight. We take some time to decide on what to do, more so on what to do with my hair. Once we come to a decision, the questions begin as my team jump straight in asking about how things are going with Harley since it has been a while since I have seen my team like this. Normally some of these questions would make me uncomfortable, but coming from my team makes me feel all giddy like a teenager again talking about my crush at school.
"So Liz, since we are talking all things Harley, how is everything in the bedroom?" Laura begins to ask and instantly everyone leans in closer as I feel my cheeks burning up infront of the mirror. "By the tint on your cheeks I'm guessing it's more than good huh Liz." Max adds, I can't help but giggle shyly as I try and hide my face from them all. "Stop it.." I mumble behind my hands as they are all still fixing my hair, all of them laughing at my obviously flustered state. "Just a little detail.. That's all we ask.. We know how terrible Robbie was in that department so we need to know your being taken care of.." Laura adds and instantly I shake my head laughing at her words. I try and compose myself before lowering my hands, turning to check Harley and Tom aren't listening in before I say anything. "Let's just say.. It's the best I've ever had. With anyone.." I confess and my entire team cheers, giggles and almost squeal in excitement. I can't help but join in, my cheeks now bright red but I don't care. I love to gush about Harley. "So she takes REAL good care of you then Miss Olsen.." Max adds and I can't hide away my grin as I nod my head in reply. "She deffinently does.." I reply shyly and see everyone grinning behind me through the mirror. "You're a lucky girl Lizzie. We're so glad she makes you so happy, in more ways than one." Laura teases, but in the best way. I get lost in my thoughts when they get back to fixing up my hair and make-up, my mind stuck on Harley and how she really is too good to be true. But my daze doesn't last forever as we end up talking about Harley again after she popped in for another drink for her and Tom. My team not being able to stop themselves from gushing about My Soldier. Talking about how sweet she is, before asking how good shape she is in from seeing some of the photoshoot pictures. "Does she train every day?" They ask and I quickly nod my head in reply. "Pretty much. She doesn't really have to worry about what she eats since her workout is pretty intense.. And she can run non-stop for miles." I ramble a little and catch my team just smiling at me. "I suppose after being a Soldier for so long it just becomes second nature looking after her body like that." Matty thinks aloud and we all seem to nod slowly in agreement with him. But my thoughts seem to wander off to places I don't want them too right now..
~~Tuesday Afternoon, L.A.~~
Normal POV
"So, you and Lizzie are still head over heels in love with each other. I'm guessing things are going good still?" Tom rambles making me grin behind my bottle. I know he is trying to tease me, but it never works. "Things are really good mate. We are making it work." I reply easily, seeing his smile only grow at my words. "So the long distance thing is working out?" He questions, obviously picking up on my slight demenour change. "Most of the time, yeah.. It gets hard at times, but it's worth the travel to be together as much as we can be you know.." It's my turn to ramble now as I let out my slight hesitations about it all. I catch Tom looking for me to continue, so I take my time, not wanting anything to come out wrong. "I want to be with her as much as I can be before my next Tour, but I can't help but feel awful for being away from home so much. I know they understand, but I can see how much Maisie misses me when I am here with Lizzie." I add and he quickly smiles softly in my direction. "Maisie is so used to having you at home when your not working, so it's only natural she misses you Harley. But I know for a fact she loves seeing you happy with someone, so she won't want you feeling bad for being here with Liz." He reassures me as best he can, and it does help. He knows Maisie really well so I trust his opinion on this. "Just try and enjoy your time with Lizzie. Who knows when we will all lose you to your Army duties again." He adds and instantly my chest twinges at the thought of leaving everyone behind again. I quickly shake off the negative thoughts, turning my attention back to Tom's beaming smile. "Did you both talk about what happened at the BBQ?" Tom asks carefully and I feel my chest tighten even further. He's really going for the jugular today. "I uh, we have.. I know I just have to keep trying with David and hope that he comes around. I can be civil for Lizzie's sake." I tell me and he seems to be happy with my reaction. "You really will do anything for that girl won't you.." He replies with a knowing grin, making me laugh at his expression.
"Anyways, enough about me, how was filming?" I ask him and he quickly rambles about how well it all went on Set. "It was just some last minute re-shoots but everyone was great." He adds and I catch a slight blush to his cheeks. I deffinently know that he is thinking about someone in particular. "You get much time to spend with Zendaya?" I quickly ask in a slightly teasing tone, making him instantly choke on air. "What I uh- I mean yeah she was there. Yeah.." He stumbles over his words, making me try and hold back my laughter at his tinted cheeks. "Mate relax, I'm only messing with you.." I quickly add through my laughter, making him punch my arm in reply. "Alright I'm sorry.. But seriously you need to do something before someone else does." I begin to add but he shoots me a look and I quickly leave it there, knowing it's a touchy subject. He's had a thing for Zendaya for a while now, but he is always worried about losing the friendship they have if he takes it further. He also has a bad habit of doubting himself, as much as he comes across as this constantly happy and confident guy, he's just a puppy deep down who never thinks he is good enough. I hate seeing him so torn up about things like this, but I know he will soon build up the courage to at least tell her how he feels. I just hope he doesn't leave it too long. They would be an adorable couple. "It's just a hard one, you know.." He whispers, and I instantly smile softly in reply. "I know mate, but trust me, you'll regret not telling her how you feel if you don't." I try and reassure him, and it seems to work as his smile starts to come back. "Thanks mate. Maybe one day.. But for now, I'm happy being her friend." He settles and I smile in reply, seeing him lost in thought as I get up and grab us another beer. I sneak over and catch a glimpse of Lizzie getting ready, seeing her smiling and giggling with her team as they get her hair and make-up looking amazing as always. She catches sight of me through the mirror and quickly blows me a kiss since she can't move right now. Her cheeks tinting as I catch it in one hand and press it into my chest like always. She is so adorable. I get lost in her eyes before getting pulled away by some of her team teasing us both before I grab some beers and take them back outside.
I end up sitting outside with Tom for another hour or so, catching up and laughing with each other until a very familiar voice pulls all my attention towards the sliding doors across the yard. "Baby.. I don't mean to interupt, but you need to get ready.." Lizzie calls out, my eyes finding hers and instantly my heart begins to race seeing her all dolled up for tonight. "I'm on my way." I call back, making her smile as she heads back inside. "Well, looks like I am needed inside mate." I turn back to Tom, making him laugh and nod his head in reply. "Don't want to keep the wife waiting now do we.." He teases as we get up from our chairs, earning a punch in the arm from me before I grab the empty beer bottles to take inside. "Alright, be nice. Your punch is harder than mine!" He complains, rubbing his arm making me chuckle as we make our way inside. "Thanks for the beers mate, we still on for meeting up before the Premiere yeah?" I check as we walk through the kitchen and past the mayhem. "Deffinently mate. I'll text you and let you know." He quickly replies as we reach the living room where Lizzie is standing infront of a full length mirror checking her hair is falling right whilst she is standing. "Good, drive safe! Text me when your back alright?" I make sure to tell him, thankfully, he only had two beers so he should be okay. "Will do mate. Good luck for tonight." He replies as he pulls me into a tight hug. I instantly return it, wrapping my arms around him. "Thanks.." I reply as we slowly pull away before I see Lizzie coming to say goodbye. I watch as they share a careful hug, not wanting to touch Lizzie's hair, making me laugh as they say goodbye. I love how close they are, even before I met Lizzie, Tom would tell me how much of a sweetheart Lizzie was on Set. Always making sure he was okay since he is the baby of the Avengers. Once they have said goodbye, Lizzie rushes off to get into her dress as I walk Tom to the front door and wave him off as he drives away. I take a minute to myself at the front door, the slight quiet helping me to just breathe for a moment before I know we have a busy evening ahead. I just hope it all goes to plan, and we don't have any hiccups.
"Come sit Harley." Max, one of Lizzie's hair stylists calls me over in the kitchen. I quickly make my way towards the seat Lizzie was in not too long ago and get myself comfortable as Max gets to work on making my hair look less of a mess. "So, how's things with you Harley? It's been a while since I last saw you." He quickly asks as he starts trimming the sides of my hair with the blade. "Great yeah, just enjoying my time off really.." I reply easily, but I catch his slight frown at my words before he shakes it off. "Do you know when your due back to work?" He asks carefully, making me cringe a little but I try not to let it show. "I don't actually, I never get much warning when it comes to going on Tour." I explain and he gives me a slightly sympathetic smile as he begins to style my hair. "That must be hard, not knowing.." He thinks a loud and I catch his eyes glossing over slightly through the mirror. "It is, but I am used to it after all these years." I quickly add and he smiles again before turning his full attention to my hair, wanting it perfect as always. We share some more lighter conversation as he finishes off my hair, beaming with how it looks. "What do we think?" He asks, holding up a smaller mirror to show me the back of my head. "Perfect as always Max. thank you very much." I reply easily, making his beaming smile impossibly wider. "My pleasure, now, your suit is in Lizzie's room as she is in the guest bathroom getting into her dress. Don't ask me why I have no idea.. But everything you need is in the bedroom waiting for you." He explains and I thank him again before grabbing myself a bottle of water and then making my way towards Lizzie's room. I unzip the garment bag hanging up on her wardrobe, finding a very smart light brown suit, with a white shirt, black tie and black polished shoes. Something simple yet no doubt will look smart and presentable once I have everything on. I start to get myself ready, slipping into the perfectly fitting shirt and pants, being careful not to cause any creases as I get dressed. Once I have everything on, I do up my tie and then check everything over in the mirror. As much as this is not a colour I would usually go for, I'm surprised at how much I like it now it is on. I slip into the shoes and then spray on some cologne before heading back out into the living room to wait for Lizzie and her team.
As soon as I walk out of the bedroom, I am met by a few compliments from Lizzie's team before I hear the click of the bathroom door and instantly everyone's eyes are on Lizzie as she walks out in a stunning dress. Her hair falls perfectly as she is looking a little taller in her heels, her legs on full display making my heart race in my chest. I can't take my eyes away from her. She looks incredible. "Might want to pick your jaw up from the floor Harley.." Max teases, but I just chuckle at his words as Lizzie walks over to where I am frozen just watching her in awe. As soon as she is close enough, I catch her tinted cheeks as she looks me up and down before reaching out her hands for me to take easily in my own. "You look very handsome Soldier.. You can pull off any colour with those Hazel eyes of yours.. I'm a little envious." She teases as she stands with barely any room between our bodies. "Thank you baby, you look so beautiful.. Literally breathtaking." I reply easily, causing her cheeks to heat up even more. "Thank you Harley." She whispers a little shyly, leaning up to kiss my lips careful but quickly giggles when she pulls away. "What?" I ask, seeing her eyes looing down to my lips. "My lipstick wasn't dry enough to kiss you just yet.." She giggles, making me chuckle as she rushes off to find something to help clean my lips with. I walk into the kitchen, earning a few laughs from her team when they see what has happened before Lizzie comes back to wipe my lips clean. "There we go." She tells me as she finishes, making me laugh at her beaming smile. "Thank you Baby." She giggles shyly as she just admires me for a few seconds before her team call us over for some pictures. We pose together, earning so many compliments from her team before I leave Lizzie to get some pictures on her own as I make sure I have everything. I sneak some pictures of my own, catching her giggling at me behind her team before we are informed the cars are outside. Lizzie rushes to get her bag as her team grab everything and leave first, giving us a moment to ourselves. "You really do look amazing Lizzie, I am very lucky to be by your side tonight." I ramble a little, making Lizzie just smile a little shyly. "Trust me, I'm the lucky one Harley." She argues playfully before I hold out my arm for Lizzie to take so we can make our way outside together.
The journey to the studio is calm and full off laughter as I try and distract Lizzie from getting nervous about tonight. I know how she can be so I keep her busy talking until we arrive outside the Studio gates. Instantly we both see the flashing lights and I feel Lizzie grip onto my arm. "Baby.. Look at me." I quickly pull her attention away from the window and she looks right into my eyes. Already I can see she is trying not to panic. "I'm right here. Your not alone. I'm not leaving your side until I have too.." I tell her sternly, making sure she is listening to every word to help keep her calm. "I'm right here with you Elizabeth Chase, no matter what." I whisper, leaning in close to her lips. "Your right here.." She whispers in return, making me smile as I nod my head gently in agreement. "I'm right here.." I repeat, seeing her calmly nod her head with me. "Miss Olsen, Miss Lane, we are here." The driver lets us know before leaving his seat to give us a moment. "You ready?" I ask gently, searching her eyes for any doubts. "I'm ready.." She whispers before leaning in to kiss my lips. I kiss her back instantly, gently kissing away her last bit of nerves. "I love you." I tell her easily as we pull away slightly. "I love you Soldier." She replies with a growing smile as her eyes find mine again. "Wait here." I whisper before turning to get out the car. I walk around to Lizzie's side, already flashes are blinding me as I do up my jacket button before meeting the driver at Lizzie's door. He gives me a subtle nod before he opens her door and I quickly move to take her hand and help her out the car. As soon as she is standing, we thank the driver as I offer my arm for her to take. She easily holds onto my forearm, her grip strong as we slowly make our way inside. Voices shouting for us both as we do, but we are quickly met by some security who guide us inside without any issues. I let out a breath as we get inside and the doors close behind us. "You okay?" I quickly turn and ask Lizzie, who smiles up at me and nods her head in reply. "I am, thank you baby." She tells me easily, making me smile in return before we are interupted by one of the crew coming to greet us and show us to where we need to be. We follow the young women through the Studio, a small, comfortable silence falling between us.
As soon as we find Lizzie's dressing room, we are met by her team and Rachel inside. We say some quick hellos before Lizzie is pulled away from her team for some final touches as Rachel makes her way to me to say hello. "Harley, it's wonderful to see you again." She greets as we share a quick hug. "It's great to see you too Rachel." I reply easily before we catch up quickly before someone comes to let Lizzie know she has a few minutes before she is needed backstage. "Okay everyone, let's get everything ready to head to the backstage viewing area." Rachel announces and the team start to pack some things up to take with them as Lizzie stays standing infront of the mirror. Instantly I can see her nervously playing with some of the rings she wearing on her fingers. I slowly make my way to her, seeing her eyes slightly glossed over. As soon as I reach where she is standing, I carefully take her hands from infront of her, making her flinch slightly before she looks up and sees it is me. She instantly relaxes and lets me take her hands into my own and pull her away from the mirror to face me instead. "Talk to me.." I whisper as her team rush around behind us. "Just some nerves kicking in." She admits easily, making me smile at how open she is. "You've got this baby. Just remember to breathe, deep, calming breaths. Everyone fucking adores you Elizabeth Chase. Never doubt that for a second." I tell her softly but also with every bit of meaning behind my words. She giggles, gripping onto my hands tightly as she looks up into my eyes. "I love you so much Harley." She whispers into the small space between us, making me beam back at her. "I love you baby, and I am so proud of you." I reply so easily, making her smile beam back in reply. Her eyes shimmering as they shine so brightly to match her smile. "Sorry to interupt you two, but we need to get going.." Rachel comes to break out small moment, but neither of us seem to mind as we both turn and smile in reply. "Let's go Soldier." Lizzie teases, leaning up to peck my lips before we follow behind Rachel as we make our way backstage to see My Girl do her thing. God I am so fucking proud of her, she truly is so incredible..
~~Tuesday Evening, L.A. Studios~~
Lizzie POV
It's crazy how one person can make me feel so safe and secure. Having Harley here with me helps take away all the nervousness I would normally feel one nights like this. I hate being center of attention, even more so under the lights of a Studio during an interview. But Harley makes me feel so relaxed, it's nice to actually look forward to something like tonight. And thankfully, I am with one of my favourite hosts tonight, James Corden. It deffinently must be a British things because he also makes everyone feel so calm and relaxed during his show. "Hello Miss Olsen, I'm here to fit your mic if your ready?" One of the stage runners breaks me from my thoughts as she holds up a microphone and wire. "Yes, of course." I quickly reply, turning so she can do her job. We make some small talk as she sits my mic onto the front of my dress before I hear a very familiar voice from behind me. I shake my head, not thinking too much off it as my mic is fitted. I thank the young women before she leaves and I turn to be met with none of other than Anthony Mackie. Instantly my mouth widens as I am met with his usual cheeky smile as he rushes to greet me with a warm hug. "Lizzie! It's good to see you." He yells in excitement, making me laugh as he practically lifts me off the floor in his arms before we pull apart. "Mackie! I can't believe you're here, I completely forgot it was you with me tonight." I say excitedly and very truthfully, I've been so caught up in being with Harley everything slips my mind these days. "Well, surprise! I hope you don't mind sharing the stage with me Olsen." He jokes as someone comes to fit his mic as someone else brings me a bottle of water. "Not at all, I'm actually relieved it's you." I assure him, making him smile as we quickly catch up before someone comes to let us know we are going to be starting any minute. I feel so much better having Anthony by my side, I don't think I have ever felt so calm before an interview. And I know for a fact Harley is going to love seeing Mackie once we are finished. My thoughts are soon cut off when we are given the signal that James is going to start, so we get into our positions and wait for our signal to enter the stage.
"Our guests tonight are two very familiar faces if you're a fan of Superheroes and more importantly, the Marvel Cinematic Universe! I would like to introduce the amazingly talented Elizabeth Olsen and Anthony Mackie!"
James introduces us both and then we are given the signal to walk out under the bright lights and huge cheers from the live audience. James quickly meets us half way, pulling me into a hug and kissing my cheek before greeting Anthony behind me. I make my way towards the sofa, waving towards the audience before sitting down and getting comfortable. Mackie soon joins me as James takes his seat behind his desk, letting the audience calm down before he gets started with some introductions. We all seem to settle into things pretty easily, already laughing and teasing with one another. "So, the big question is, are we going to see you both next week in Avengers Endgame?" James asks the big question floating around everyone's mind since the last we seen was half of the Avengers turning to dust. "Nope.. We gone. No coming back for non of us." Mackie quickly teases, making everyone burst into laughter at him. "Seriously? That's what we are getting? A straight up no?" James adds, making me giggle as he looks between us. "I have no idea what is going to happen in the next film so I can't comment.." I try and play it cool, making James laugh and shake his head in my direction as Mackie laughs and adds to my statement. "Yeah, what she said." He jokes, making everyone just laugh like he always does. You can never take this guy seriously, he is so funny. "Come on you two, seriously? No Scarlet Witch or Falcon?" James teases even more, trying to get something out of us but we both give each other a look and then shake our heads without saying another word. Making James finally admit defeat. "Okay, okay.. But if you could return.. Do you think you could beat Thanos if given a second chance?" He adds and Mackie quickly starts doing my an impression of my Character. "Your kidding right, Wanda over here could probably kiss his ass on her own given half the chance!" He jokes as his hands move around with a mind of their own. I can't help but burst into laughter at his terrible impression of me as James tries to join in. I know Harley is going to be loving this backstage since she constantly jokes around and tries to mimic my moves to tease me every chance she gets.
We go to a quick break after a few more Marvel related questions, giving us chance to have a drink of water before we come back and James turns to me for some more personal questions. "So Lizzie, you are filming for Sorry for your Loss, can you tell us anything about what you have been doing recently?" James gets started and I instantly fall into easy conversation as I gush about the show. I end up rambling a little until I catch myself and James smiles and looks to his cards for what to ask next. "So you must be pretty busy, have you had any time to visit your English Soldier?" He teases and instantly I catch Mackie with a beaming smile to match James'. "I have actually, we recently spent a couple of weeks together in London." I begin and James gestures for me to continue. I gush about my time in London and catch myself blushing slightly as I talk about Harley so openly. "We were all rushing to find a copy of your magazine interview when it was released, and can we just take another look at some of the photos I mean, you are such a Power Couple!" James gushes as some of our pictures come onto the big screen behind us. My eyes instantly finding Harley as my heart begins to race in my chest. Fuck she looks incredible.. "Wow oh wow! How was it for you both, considering how new this all is for Harley?" James asks and I beam back being able to talk about her with such confidence and excitement. "She was actually a natural.. I think she surprised herself at how easy she found it all. I mean, it's no secret she is in incredible shape because of her job, but having her by my side that day made the whole thing a million times easier. She always finds a way to make anything enjoyable, and she also helps to keep me from any sort of nerves or panic which makes my day so much better." I ramble again, but everyone seems in awe of my words. "So what your telling us Lizzie is that Harley is incredible and we should all be very jealous?" James teases and I can't help but blush as I nod my head in reply. But before I can say anything, Mackie jumps in to add his thoughts. "It's true, I met Harley one night in London and she is so great! And she got moves! I remember her dancing to Jason Derulo and let me tell you, she put everyone to shame!" I can't help but laugh with everyone as Mackie is now gushing about Harley, my smile never faltering thinking about how much everyone adores My Soldier.
"On a more serious note, Harley was very open in your interview and we all were surprised at what we read. She truly seems to be a very strong, and driven person. Does she support you the way we all see she does?" James asks softly and I quickly nod my head in reply. "She really does. She is the most supportive person I have ever had by my side. Even the smallest of things she makes seem worth everything. And seeing the work she does makes me want to be a better person. Knowing she does what she does and why is truly amazing.." I gush about her once more and James nods softly in reply to my words. "I'm sure I speak for everyone when I say that it is amazing to see you so happy Lizzie. And we all can't wait to see more of you and Harley together.." James gushes and I beam in reply to his words as I thank him. "Just one more thing, is Harley still in London or did she come with you to L.A.?" James asks and instantly I see a glint in his eyes. I stumble over my words, not knowing what to say but Mackie seems to catch on and turns to face me with wide eyes and a huge grin on his face. "Is she backstage!?" Anthony asks excitedly and I am completely lost for words. Not knowing where this is going, but I have an idea. "What.. Noo.. Of course not. I mean, why would she be." I ramble without knowing where I was going, but they both seem to see right through me as James glances backstage before looking between me and Anthony who are stuck in a staring contest to see who breaks first. "I think she needs to come say hello... What do you say Harley?" James seems to ask towards the camera, knowing if she is backstage, she will be watching everything live. Instantly my heart is racing at the thought of her being put on the spot. I hope she doesn't freak out at all. "Come on Harley, get your ass out here!" Anthony adds and I can't hep but giggle at his giddiness as he is practically bouncing up and down on the sofa where he is sitting. "Okay, We are going to go to a break whilst we see if we can get Harley to come out and say hello.. We will be right back so don't go anywhere!" James cuts to a break and instantly I see him jump up along with Mackie. A knowing look shared between them both before they begin to rush off the stage. My body seems frozen for a second before I seem to catch up and rush to follow behind them. Hoping to get there in time to save my Soldier from whatever those two have in mind for her..
Poor Harley! She has no idea what's coming her way!
