A/N ~~ Keeping the Fluff Train going full speed... Well, For now..
~~Monday Afternoon, L.A.~~
Normal POV
The last week since The Late, Late Show, Lizzie has been working everyday on interviews and meetings for all sorts of things. Thankfully, I have managed to keep myself busy during the day whilst she has been doing her thing at work. I have been back at the gym everyday, as well as running and exploring a little on my own. Being in my gym gear has given me chance to get some pictures for Instagram to get up to date with my endorsement stuff, and with L.A. being amazing for the background, I even got some running videos in there as well with my new trainers. I spent the day with Tom on Friday, we went out to Santa Monica Pier for the day which was amazing. It was just what I needed. Spending the day with my best friend. I opened up about some things that have happened recently and he was the supportive Cousin he always is and actually gave me some really good advice. We got caught up to be some paparazzi which was not the best, but thankfully Tom knew some short cuts back to his car and we threw them off before he drove me back to Lizzie's. On Saturday night, we met up with Scarlett and Colin for dinner since they had flew in a little early ready for the Premiere. I could tell Lizzie was exhausted after her busy week but she was so happy to see Scarlett she didn't let it show. We had a really good time at dinner, and it gave me a chance to get to know Colin a little better too. Yesterday Lizzie had nothing booked in so we spent the day completely relaxing in her garden after a late morning spent in bed. I made sure to take care of Lizzie as much as possible, cooking lunch and dinner so she could relax as much as possible. It also gave me more to focus on instead of overthinking everything involving the Premiere. I don't want Lizzie to see how stressed out I am for it. I just don't want to mess anything up for her. I know there are going to be so many people there and watching around the World, one screw up could be huge. For both of us. I really want our first Premiere to go well.. Not a disaster.
After a chilled morning, I decided on making some lunch for me and Lizzie since her team are due to arrive not long after. And I doubt we will have time to eat between getting ready and actually being at the Premiere so I want to make sure Lizzie has something now rather than have her fainting on the Red Carpet. I opted on making some chicken pasta, knowing it will be better than something light with barely anything to keep us going. Lizzie is in the shower so I get started on grilling the chicken as some water boils for the pasta. I have my music playing into the kitchen, wanting to try and keep my mind as busy as possible so I don't have the chance to overthink anything. I get so lost in cooking and singing along to my playlist that I don't even realise I ma no longer alone until I turn around and see Lizzie standing watching me from across the room. My eyes unconciously widen seeing her standing in one of my t-shirts and some short, shorts. Fuck.. Use your words Harley. "Hey you.." I manage to get out past my slightly frozen state as I see her lips twitch into a knowing grin. "Hey Soldier, something smells good in here." Oh shit, I'm still cooking! I clear my throat, needing to pull myself away from admiring Lizzie but my eyes seem to have a mind of there own. Unfortunatley for me, my hands reach out without my eyes warning me of where the hot pan is. "Ah Fuck!" I yell out as I feel my forearm hit the side of the very hot grill pan. I pull my arm away as quickly as I can register the pain, looking down at my arm to see how bad the burn is. "Baby! Are yo okay?" Lizzie rushes to my side, following my gaze down to my arm where I can see a burn mark already getting more prominent on my skin. "I'm alright, I was just a little distracted.." I tease, hoping it helps calm her down. I can see feel how worried she is by the grip she has on my waist. When she giggles, I can't help but smile down at her as she searches up to find my eyes. "I'm sorry baby, I never wanted you to burn yourself.." She rambles a little, making me just grin at her nervous rambling. I could never be mad at her, ever.
