Chapter 22-

I had told all my friends to meet me at lunch. I had a secret mission for them. I feel like there's something missing from the file. Something important. Like that stupid prophecy. So many questions... Could it be about me? Will I even LIVE?!

As soon as everyone's seated at the table, I say, "Welcome Super Secret Ninjas".

"Super...?"

Secret...?"

"Ninjas...?" Everyone asks, confusion written all over their faces.

I nod. "Yep, that's your new name. I have a mission for you. Any questions before we start off?"

Andy raises his hand. "Why do we have to be ninjas?"

I roll my eyes. "Because it was my idea."

"Why can't we be.... Like Superheroes or something since we have powers?"

"One, Super Secret Superheroes sounds weird. Two, we're acting more as ninjas at the moment. Any more questions?" A few people raise their hands. "NOT about the name?"

Everyone except Ellie puts their hand down.

"Yes, Ellie?"

"Has anyone seen Lexi?" She asks. She looks around in concern.

I look behind her to see Lexi laughing with Luke. I smile.

"We can fill her in later. I've got something very important to show you. I found a file in my grandfather's office." I lower my voice, slipping the file out and setting it in the center of the table. Everyone stares at it with wide eyes until someone grabs it and starts flipping through. Everyone looks at documents, absorbing the pictures and documents.

"What prophecy?" Jonah asks, narrowing his eyes at a picture.

"I've never heard of a prophecy through any of my work...." Sera mumbles.

"They're worried you might die?" Josh asks, his eyes wide and his arm hugging me tight. I try to convince myself that I'm not going to die, but what do I know? I don't know what's going to happen so how do I know it's dangerous? I do I know if I'll live? If I'll be able to protect my new friends from this unknown evil?

"I'm fine." I say, swallowing the lump in my throat. "I just need more information. Any questions before I give you your full mission?"

Nalin raises his hand. I roll my eyes, knowing what it's going to be about.

"Yes, Nalin?"

"Okay, how about Super Secret Spies? That sounds better than ninjas. Because ninjas fight and spies sneak around." I actually think about it.

"Yeah, that actually does sound better."

Luke stares daggers at me as Nalin whoops.

"You don't choose mine but you choose THAT? Unbelievable." He grumbles while Samantha chuckles at him.

"Okay, Super Secret Spies. Everyone up for breaking some rules?" I ask with a smirk on my face.

A few people hesitate, their eyes wide. Other's nod excitedly. Finally, they all nod. I smile at my friends. I knew I could count on them. I glance behind Ellie to see Luke kissing Lexi. I stand up.

"Okay, someone go break up the lovebirds. We've got some work to do."

Okay, this was going to be out WAY earlier today. But guess what? I guess my iPad decided it sucked so it deleted most of it! Yeah, I know. Crazy. So I'm currently finding a new app to keep all my books on. And sorry if this chapter sucks. Before it was deleted, it was longer and better. Stupid iPad....... And sorry if I update later later. One, I have a life. Two, I have so many book ideas that I'm trying to work on. Three, I write for other websites. Though Wattpad is still my favorite, I write more for fun than fans on the other websites. So, comment, vote, read, whatever. P.S. If you like this, VOTE! It inspires me to write more and faster!!!!!
