Chapter 11

After few months..

"Criz, are you ready?" he asked me when he enter into my dressing room.

Were here at our new home network to introduce as the newest artists and love team for our upcoming show.

It's a new beginning for me and a new journey with new people, in short everything are NEW. Thank God that He given me another chance to pursue my career and passion after my long break from show business industry. And what's more surprising is .. they trust me to give this one time big time break that I never had since I entered showbiz. It must be totally a big break for me and also I think for him too.

"Yes I'm ready Jo" I answered. Then took a deep breathe and look at the mirror before I stood up and walk towards him. I was wearing a not so revealing silver sleeveless jumpsuit partnered with my silver stiletto. It looks so a little bit of sexiness. That's how I changed and I changed for the better I guess. Criza "The Teenage Girl" no more. I left the country when I was 18 and it's almost 10 years bago ako nakabalik. I still remember how broke I am when I decided to leave and gave up on my career  para maka-move on, not just for someone else but also for everything that hurts me. And also to fix my self and my life, too. Good thing that I made it. Thanks for hurting me anyway.

"Let's welcome our newest Kapuso Love Team, Criza Taa and Aljon Mendoza. sabay sabay nating isigaw #CrizJo" the emcee announced at sobrang ingay ng crowd. I never expected na sisikat kami ng ganito. I started showbiz as an extra lang, second lead ganon before I left. Pero heto ako nabigyan ng big break.

We went to the front stage while holding our hands and looking each other while singing our shows OST.

"I'm so thankful to have you" he whisper to me then I smiled to him.

After the movie launching we proceed to our mini celebration with our Manager, Ate Maja and all her handled artist. Nauna na sila sa venue while magkasama naman kami ni Aljon ngayon on the way doon

"Jo, do you have any regret na binitawan mo yung dati mong network which is ok kana don, para lang samahan ako dito sa new network natin?" Tanong ko sakanya habang nagdadrive sya.

Ate Maja worked out my career hanggang sa nakuhanan nya ko ng contract sa new network ko ngayon few months after I decided to come back sa industry. Nabigyan din ako ng big break dito kaso naghahanap pa ng leading man na babagay sakin, until nagulat nalang ako na si Aljon ang pinirisent nila during presscon meeting namin.

Sabi ni Ate Maja, si Aljon daw nag decide na lumipat since matagal nadaw syang hindi nagpapatali sa network kasi he was waiting for me to come back sa showbiz industry at maka trabaho ako. Mas ok din naman sakin yon, hindi ako mahihirapan since he was with me lalo na sa show.

Pagka launch palang ng movie namin na to marami na natutuwa sa team up namin. Trending nadin love team namin and they even think na there's something between us. Hindi naman namin sinasagot yon kasi we both know the truth plus totoo naman na we are both special sa isat isa. At isa pa, alam mo naman kalakaran sa showbiz, part of promotion din to. Mukha din naman hindi na big deal sa lahat yung old issues ko.

"Nope. I've been waiting for you to comeback sa industry kaya hindi ako nagpapatali sa network. I have no regrets with that. So don't worry okay! beside this is a good opportunity to grow" he said and hold my hands. Normal na sakin yon. He's too sweet talaga.

"Thank you for everything, jon. I really do appreciate that" I answered and smiled to him.

Nagdrive ulit sya saka ko naman binalik ko ang tingin ko sa labas ng sasakyan. Madilim na and only the city lights lang ang makikita mo, ang lakas maka emote.
