One year later...
November 2036

"And now let's welcome our Ms. World 2036.. from Philippines .. Criza Joy Taa" emcee announced and tears of joy fell from my eyes as i walk towards the center stage for my crown and sash.

All the pain and sacrifices are worth it. Lahat ng pagod at puyat sa paghahanda ko sa final pageant na to despite of all the emotional battle na hinarap ko during this competition ... is naging makabuluhan lalo na naiuwi ko ang korona para sa bansa.

How i wish nandito padin si mama wilma para makita nya kong lumaban, not only for this crown but also for my life crisis and emotional battle in life ..

After the coronation night, we just have a mini celebration with my family, my team and  some of my co-candidates na naging kaibigan ko nadin. Since it's already close to holiday season, hindi na halos nakabyahe ang mga friends ko like Bearkada and Aljon to watch the pageant live due to their schedules and appointment kaya lahat sila ay nag send nalang ng virtual greetings for me during the mini program of this celebration.

After the celebration .. I went home with my family to atleast early celebrate the holiday season with them since I decided to go back to the Philippines by next week to rest and check my small business. Good thing that Ashley was there since we are now business partner.

Halos mag iisang taon nadin naman kasi akong nandito for my trainings and preparation. Sapat na yong time na yon para ipursue ang pangarap ko and to learn from all my mistakes in life especially to my career. This time I want to focus on my happiness naman and long term goals in life.

"So what's your plan anak after this?" My mom ask. Nandito kami ngayon sa terrace having a coffee date.

"I'll be going back to philippines by next week mom." I answered her and sipped on my brewed coffee.

"Yes I know.. what I mean, what is your next plan on your life after winning the crown?" She asked again and sipped on her coffee too. Mom and daughter chit chat i guess.

"Before I left the country for the training and competition, everything was settled on my mind naman na mommy.. so i'll do what i have to do po and ready to move forward for my future" I answered to her again and smile.

"Whatever plan it is anak.. nandito lang kaming pamilya mo nakasuporta. Especially me your mom. You will always be my baby CJ. Seeing you genuinely happy and okay makes my heart at eased" she said and hugged me tight.

"Thanks mom" i answered and hug her tight too.

"Heeeeeeyyy. Can we join?" Papa Robert said pagkabukas ng pinto. Kasama nito si Calix and Cane.

"Oo nga.. dapat kami din naghuhug sa Ms. World natin" Cane said

"Grouuuuuup hug" Calixta said and run towards sabay yakap. Sumunod din sila Papa Robert and Cane.

"Were so proud of you anak" Papa robert said.

Maybe one thing na magandang nangyari when mama wilma passed away, is yung mas nakilala ko si mommy and ang family nya.. No! ang family pala namin. And having them is such a huge blessing in my life. Na-realized ko, hindi ako kulang kahit may mga nawala pa sa buhay ko.. why? Kasi I have them. Maybe there's a misunderstanding sometimes.. but break up doesn't exist to us

After those battle and experiences.. happiness is one of my priority right now...
