Terry P.O.V.

I was at home watching TV when I noticed my phone vibrating. A smile spread across my face when I seen Tami's number. I was a little hesitant to pick up. I wasn't sure if Tami was calling to curse me out or if she was calling me to actually get help.

I picked up my phone. "Hello." I said nervously.

"Hey Terry. I need to talk to you. Please come over."

"What do you need to talk to me about?"

She sighed as if she was becoming frustrated. "Just come over so we can talk about this. I would rather tell you this face to face."

"Ok, I'll be there in ten minutes."

"Ok, bye." I hung up the phone. I felt excited but nervous at the same time. I was just eager to find out what she wanted to talk to me about.

I arrived at Tami's house. I stood in front of the door nervous as hell. I just really wasn't sure what to expect. She opened the door and said, "Come in."

I came in and she hugged me and leaned in for a kiss but I just turned my head the other way. I could tell my action hurt her. "I didn't come here to kiss you." I said sternly.

She rolled her eyes. "I realize that now."

"But why did you want me to come over?"

"Lets go in the living room and talk about this."

"I'm not planning on staying here for a very long time so just tell me now."

"Nigga just come in the living room!"

I did as she said. No point in arguing with Tami.

I sat down on one of the leather couches and she sat right next to me. A little too close but whatever.

"You look really nice today Terry." She said.

"Thanks." I just got a hair cut and I could tell she was feeling it.

"But I have to tell you about this dream I had."

"Did you have a nightmare?"

"I wouldn't call it a nightmare. It was sort of a wake up call from God."

My eyebrows furrowed in confusion? A wake up call from God? "What kind of fucking shit have you been smoking?"

She looked really irritated. "Would you shut the fuck up and just listen to what I have to say?" She screamed.

I sighed and nodded my head. I knew my comment was unnecessary. She preceded to tell me about the dream she had. After she was done, I was in full shock. Tami was about to go to hell? Why was she having these types of dreams?

"Do you think it means something?" I asked her.

"Yes. I know it does. God was pretty much forcing me to reach out to you and get help. My dream made me realize that I really need to change."

I didn't know why but everything coming out of Tami's mouth was sounding a little iffy to me. She had a dream about almost going to hell and she automatically wanted to change. I'm going to test her. I wanted to see if Tami was really willing to change or if she's willing to control her anger and not get an attitude. These are just a few things she really needed to work on if she wanted to change.

"You don't want to change Tami."

She looked offended. "I do want to change, that's why I called you. I'm reaching out to you so you can help me." Tami is a really good actor so I know she could just be pretending to change so I can stay in her life.
