I held my gun closely to my side as I walked behind Glenn and Michonne. Alex walked by my side. His gun hitting my elbow with each step.

"Eyes open, everybody. Weapon up. You see someone coming at us, you fire." Glenn instructed us.

"Copy that." Abraham confirmed.

"So if we see someone, we just shoot them?" Michonne asked, looking over at Glenn.

"It's a good question." Maggie agreed.

"What if they're someone like us? What if Aaron is telling the truth? What if they're someone who has nothing to do with this?" Michonne questioned as we walked.

"We're seven people walking with guns. No one's coming up to say hello." Glenn remarked, staying focused on the road ahead.

I chuckled a bit, holding my gun close. "They already did that, Glenn."

"If it's someone like us, we should be afraid of them. He said he was watching us, right? It means he saw us yesterday. And after everything we've done, why would he want us to join his group?" Glenn asked, causing me to look over at him in confusion.

"Do you really think we're bad people, Glenn? For doing things to survive?" I asked softly.

Michonne placed a hand on my shoulder in comfort as she spoke, "People like us saved a priest. Saved a girl who rolled up to the prison with the Governor. Saved a crazy lady with a sword. He saw that."

"I don't know what he saw." Glenn answered before walking ahead.

I sighed, holstering my gun as we walked. Alex held his close, but focused on me. "You're not a bad person, Em. None of us are really. We've just had to do bad things. That doesn't make us bad."

"But doesn't it though?" Rosita asked from my other side. We turned to look at her as we walked. "Every movie, tv show, book; the bad guy is always the one that does bad things. You kill someone; you become a killer. You steal something; you're a thief."

"It's more to do with perspective." Alex argued softly, shaking his head. "People can redeem themselves. I've been through it. You look at me right now and what do you see?"

"A teenager who's protected his girlfriend and friends." I answered. Alex glanced over to Rosita, earning a nod in agreement.

"Now, tell me what you saw when we were kids, Pebbles." He stated.

I scoffed, "A walking asshole."

Alex nodded in agreement. "It's all on perspective." He stated, fully believing in his answer.

"So what does that make me, hm? Am I a good person or a bad person?" I asked, hesitantly. Part of me didn't want to know the answer because I knew Alex would be blunt.

"You are a badass that cries too much." Alex answered proudly. A huge grin played on his lips as I frowned. Michonne and Maggie held back chuckles as they walked ahead of us.
