"Watch for anything strange? What the bloody hell am I looking for? Santa Claus?" I pursed my lips as I spoke into the tiny phone that Nik had given me. Elijah was warning me of some new girl in town. But clearly they don't remember who I am. This was probably just another Katerina. Running around as if she was an original.

"This isn't a joke, Rebekah." Elijah spoke firmly. I sighed, rolling my eyes as I kept going through clothes in this store. Grabbing a few things to try them on. "Mother is still gone." I froze momentarily. Unsure how to feel about that. Mother- she was gone for so long and with her being back only for a night and then disappearing.. something wasn't right.

"And you think this new vampire has taken her?" I asked in a slightly smaller voice.

"I think it's possible." Elijah agreed. "If she is who Kol thinks she is, she's dangerous, Rebekah." I rolled my eyes again at his warning as I moved to the dressing rooms.

"Clearly she hasn't met me." I informed him before hanging up and changing.

I had been trying on clothes for a while. Compelling the workers to keep my selections to the side as I worked through my pile. I was currently in a nice dress that stopped right around mid thigh.

"Might as well walk around naked with how little fabric is on you." A woman stated as she walked in the back. Her voice full of humor as she glanced over my outfit. I narrowed my eyes at the woman who made herself comfortable in a chair. She narrowed her eyes back at me. "Are we having a stare off? How exciting." She grinned mischievously. The sparkle in her eyes made me think of Kol. Mischief and chaotic.

"Who do you think you are?" I questioned, my hands going to my hips. The woman sat back again the grin on her face faltering slightly.

"I think I'm Eve and that makes you Rebekah, right?" I frowned at the fact that she knew my name. "Sorry, been watching you for a while. Not to mention the rest of your family. Quite insulting that you all claim to be the Originals." Eve lifted her hand and examined her nailed carelessly. "What a lie."

"We are the originals." I pointed out. Eve raised her eyebrows at me before she flashed to stand in front of me.

"Are you? Or were you lied to?" I tried to move my hand, wanting to shove it through her chest. To rip her heart out and leave her to her death in this mediocre store. But it was like I was frozen in place. "No need to be so brash. I'm not here to harm you and your family- not that I can say much for your mother of course."

"My mother?" I questioned. My fists clenching in anger. Eve ran her finger over my cheek, pushing a stray hair behind my ear, her dark eyes melting into my blue ones.

"Evil little thing. Came to my cave to try to get me to rid the world of her sins." She muttered. I frowned. Sins? Cave? "Oh, you didn't know? Mother Dearest wanted her children dead. Ask Finnick. He might know a thing or two about it..."

"You're lying." She had to be. Mother would never- she created us, she came back to us. She forgave Nik.. She wasn't like father.

"I can see this is a rough subject." My focus came back to Eve, who was watching me as I processed her words. "Trust me, I can relate." She stepped back and sat back into the chair. "Well, not mommy issues. More like Daddy issues for me. You probably know him! God. The person, not the saying." I stared at her incredulously.

"Your father is...God?" I repeated out in a a questioning voice. I rolled my eyes as my body began to relax into being able to move again. "Oh, my god. You're insane." Eve cocked her head to the side.

"Insane? Possibly. A couple thousand years of sleep would do that to you. But I am the daughter of God. And not like what all of those Religious people say." Eve rolled her eyes as I moved to sit on the raised floor I was standing on. "We are all children of God." Eve said in a mocking tone. "Jeez, such idiots."

"Wait.. Are you saying you're Eve...from Adam and Eve?" I questioned. Trying to think of where I had heard of a woman named Eve. Eve rolled her eyes at the mention.

"Is that really the only way people know me? Following a man? A man who was egotistical and didn't have the balls to take a small risk?" She let out a sigh. "Honestly. The fact that I wasn't even involved in it all just makes it so much worse."

"Weren't involved?" I was becoming even more confused than I already was. If that was possible. My phone rang, stopping Eve from telling the story. Elijah's name flashing across the screen.

"Ooo, should we go to the house? Maybe I can meet your family. I've always wanted to put them in their place. Maybe piss your brother off a bit?" I watched as the excitement filled her gaze. She truly did remind me of Kol. He would be thrilled to meet someone similar to himself. I held up a finger as I took the call. My eyes never leaving the woman.

"Elijah, what a pleasure to hear from you not even an hour later. Miss me terribly?" I played the dear sister role so well in my opinion.

"Have you seen anything, Rebekah?" Right to the point. I rolled my eyes at him not even greeting me properly.

"Sure have. Eve is actually sitting right in front of me." I told him as I glanced to Eve. She was grinning as she rolled her fingers around. A flame dancing along her fingertips.

"Eve- as in.. So Kol was right." Elijah sighed on the other end as the phone sounded like it was taken from him.

"Bekah?" Kol's voice rang through. The excitement evident in his voice. "Is it true? Eve is real??"

"Yes. She is very much real. And we will be coming to the house shortly." I informed him before hanging up. I do enjoy the idea of hanging up on people. Eve glanced up at me from her hand, a smirk on her face.

"They sounded thrilled to meet me. Shall we go then? Don't want to dilly dally for too long."
