This never ending hunger is unsatiable. I've been at this for a week. Everyday, this man would rise from the dead, throw some kind of flirtatious line at me and then I would rip his throat out.
I'd be lying if I said I didn't enjoy his provocative lines.
"You should at least buy me dinner before draining me of my blood."
"This is literally better than looking at 90's Playboy- is Anna Nicole Smith still around?"
"I saw you eyeing my hard-on yesterday before you killed me and yes- you did cause that."
"You really opened my eyes.... pain is equal to pleasure."
He was ridiculous. Not to mention I finally found out who he is. Malachai Parker. Killed his siblings- well some of them. I'm guessing he was sent here for his crimes...
But that would make him a Gemini, right?
I need to get him to try to help me with my hunger without ripping his throat out again. But he is legit the tastiest blood I've had in a while. A bit bitter sweet.
I sat up on the couch I was laying on to look out the window. The sun was out. He should be waking up again.
I grabbed the bag of blood I had and took the IV straw to my mouth as I watched Malachai enter the living room. His eyes on me instantly.
"Old bag blood? Tired of the tap already? I would be lying if I said I wasn't insulted." He playfully chirped before walking a bit closer. I rolled my eyes at im before pulling the straw from my mouth, licking my lips of the drop of blood that tried to escape.
"Malachai Parker." I stated. "Killed your own siblings. Scandelous." He raised an eyebrow at me before a smirk pulled at his lips.
"Doing a bit of recon on me? And here I don't even know your name, sweet cheeks." He winked.
"Eve. But I'm guessing you will be sticking to the nicknames." I sighed. He shrugged before taking a step closer, but stopped when I growled. His blood seeming to call for me. It was the damn spell the witch had put on me, it had to be. "Stay away. I thought we could discuss an escape." Malachai looked at me in interest.
"No offense, Snuggluffagus, but we need a Bennett witch." I glared at him for the cringy nickname. "Or the blood of one." I bit at my lip, trying to hide the smile that begged to be on display.
"You don't know who I am, do you?" He looked at me confused.
"A vampire? With spooky voodoo powers?" I rolled my eyes siping on the blood as I began to hold my breath. His blood smelled so good.
"There is a book about me- let see 1994.... that would mean it's Elijah's possession- Chicago I believe." I hummed in thought. I followed the Noble vampire a bit when he wasn't in a coffin. Less of a migraine as his Hybrid brother.
"Ooo, don't think I've been there- should I go retrieve this book? Or are you going to bless me with your story, Angel pie?" I sucked on nmy teeth before running my tongue over my dry lips.
"You've heard of Adam and Eve, right?" I questioned, testing to see how much he knew of the story.
"I'm an atheist. Don't really read the bible for funzies." He chimed before tilting his head a bit in thought. "Wait- are you telling me that you are a biblical legend?" He questioned seeming impressed.
"How would I be a legend if you've never read the bible?" I retorted. "But yes, technically, I suppose."
"Wait- so that would make you- woah.... you're like my many greats granny..." I cringed in disgust.
"Definitely not. I never partaked in that- duty." I told him before correcting myself. "Well I did once. Not very much fun, when it's so small-" Malachai busted out laughing.
"Wait- your first time was with the first man on Earth and you're telling me he was tiny?" He repeated. I sighed, running my hand through my hair in frustration.
"Doesn't really matter much. Anyway- I decided to eat an apple that I was told not to, which ended up being my actual heart and I was cursed for all of eternity." I ranted off. I hated the story. My story was ruined by the humans who falsified it. So I lost the enthusiasm to even think of how I became. "The sins I released were the Supernatural."
"Wait, so you're the original- no wait. You ate your own heart?" His eyes flickered to my chest before going back to my eyes. He seemed a bit shocked at the possibility.
"Not on purpose. How was I to know the apple would turn?" I huffed. "And yes. I'm the original Tribrid. Werewolf. Vampire. Witch. Also known as the Source. Your kind pull your magic from me directly." He frowned. His face losing the interest before looking furious.
"I don't have magic. I'm known as a Siphoner." My brows furrowed at this revelation.
"A Siphoner?" I repeated in thought. "So you draw magic that already exists because you can't create it from 'nature' yourself." He nodded, crossing his arms. It was a rough subject, clearly. "So why are you still here then?" His head snapped to me, confused.
"Is there cobwebs where that gorgeous brain should be?" He questioned in a snippy tone. I growled at him, a warning.
"This world was created from Magic, Malachai." I pointed out. "And what do you do?" He stared at me. Dumbfounded by what I was telling him.
"I can- no. If it were that easy, I'd be gone already." He huffed before looking at the ground in thought.
"Or maybe you were waiting for me." I smiled before standing up. "Now do me a favor? Could you siphone this curse off me? A bloody Bennett used magic to make me incredibly hungry." I held my hand out to him. He stared at it for a minute before smirking.
"Better yet-" He stepped closer to me and his lips were on mine. I could have pulled away from him. I could have ripped his throat out. His lips was where he was siphoning with. The bit of magic he was getting mingling with my own. Pulling some along with it.
And I let him.
What the hell was my problem?
