Buddies. Why did I hate that word? That Kol guy claimed thats what he was with Eve. But I got the sense that they were more than that, or at least he wanted to be.
Eve was created to love me. But now, she had no way of loving anyone. Her heart being gone, devoured by her sins. I had every thought to help her return to the Gardens. Have God help her become who she once was.
I would make her love me. Its how it's suppose to be. We were literally made for each other. Created from a piece of God to populate his bigger creation.
Eve was replaced by another, who I gladly did my duties with. But my heart belonged to Eve. It yearned for her. And I'd be damned if I let her get away, again.
Since I got here, the town seemed to be going off the rails. Not many humans were littering the streets like they were when I had arrived. Now it was more so their bodies had littered the town.
Eve's diappearance was causing a rift in the supernatural world. I could see it. They were all losing any sense they had. Having no source to pull from. She was their center, their source of control and power. But she was gone and it was because of this woman I was now standing in front of.
"Hello, everything okay?" I questioned as the woman hadn't even glanced up at me.
"I'm fine. Just want to be left alone." She muttered. She must be going through what the other witches were going through. A loss of power. There was still magic in this world, but none that she had access to. The bracelet on the....buddy... of Eve, it held magic still. But this woman? She had lost whatever flame she had.
"I believe we can help each other out." I decided, pulling a chair back and sitting myself down across from her. She moved to lift her head up as she spoke.
"Listen, I dont know what horse you think you rode in on, but I don't need nor want your-" She stopped as her eyes met mine.
"Oh, you know who I am? Good. This makes it that much easier then." I smiled moving to lean on my elbows. "I need Eve brought back here. I'll take her away so she isn't here to slaughter whoever was involved in her sentence, and I'll make sure you get your magic back and this town will go back to normal." I offered. Although, it was more of a demand. I wasn't here to play nice with the little witch. I knew what I wsnted and she was the one who could help.
"What makes you think I would help bring Eve back?" She questioned. Her glare set on me. If she was still powerful, I could only assume she would be trying to give me some headache that mortals complain about.
"If you don't bring Eve back, then you can kiss whatever normal life you had goodbye." I told her in a low tone. "With Eve gone, the supernatural world will crumble. No power source equals no control or magic. And that means humans will be forced into their natural fight or flight." I explained simply. "By the end of the month, if you don't get killed by a rabid vampire or a suffering wolf- then you'll be burned for whatever sins the humans think you've committed." I sat back into the chair with a shrug. "Or maybe you'll be lucky. Pushed into insanity from having a missing piece of yourself."
The woman visibly swallowed, displaying she was probably already close to insanity.
"Plus, aren't you missing your friend?" I questioned causing her to furrow her brows.
"I'm sure Caroline is going through her own troubles." I shook my head.
"No the other one. Brunette, whiny- never on your side. Elena! Thats the name!" I exclaimed in thought. She looked at me confused.
"Elena? I don't- who's Elena?" She questioned. My brows raised into my hairline. Thats new.
"Hmm some kind of supernatural clearly." I hummed before shaking my head. "No matter. Are you in? Or do I need to point out more of the obvious?" She sighed, her dark eyes narrowed at me.
"How am I supposed to get her back here? I have no magic, remember?" My lips tugged into my charming smile as I shook my head at her.
"I'll take care of that. You figure out the spell you need to do it though." With that I moved to stand up. "Make sure to hurry, this town is falling apart fast, I'd hate to see what it looks like outside of it."
Now, I wonder how many of those bracelets Eve gave out and who would be the easiest target.
