Ringing. What the- I blinked my eyes open. Blurry and uncertain of where I even was. It was like my sight was splitting along with the headache coming over me. A gasp left my lips as I realized I was in the car- which was on it's side. Probably in some ditch. I couldn't focus on that though-

"Katerina. Lovely seeing you again." I turned around quickly to see Elijah Mikaelson standing behind me in his freshly ironed suit.

"Elijah.. What brings an original all the way to Illinois? Virginia get boring for you?" I questioned him with a smirk. My eyebrows raised in thought before running my tongue over my teeth. "Or did you come all this way for little ole me? Did you miss me?" Elijah flashed to stand right in front of me. His head tilted down to look down on me- but not in a taunting way. More curious. His hand rising to run his fingers along my forehead- confusing me.

"You're bleeding.." He muttered under his breath. The small dab of my blood on his fingers as he pulled his hand back to show me.

"Elijah-" I rasped out, confused. My hand moved on its own, touching my forehead where I had just felt his hand before feeling the wetness of my blood dripping across my forehead. "-What?" My vision was going in and out. Blurry specks of black trying to pull me in. "Stay awake." I muttered, reaching down to undo my seatbelt, not thinking of the outcome of doing so until I felt my body fall into the side of the car that was touching the damp grass.

"Katerina?" Elijah's hands gripped my upper arms, steadying my balance. "What is it?" His concern was evident.

"Elena?" I voiced my own confusion, shaking my head as my hand went to my head afterwards. Dizziness running over me. "Katherine? I-" I blinked hard, turning my head to the side as I tried to focus.

"Elena? I-" I felt my head loll back into the side of the car, feeling the grass under my side mixed with glass from the window. I couldn't even manage the grimace from the pain of the glass. I was confused. Delirious. I was forgetting who I even was.

"Elena? Katerina? What is going on?" Elijah questioned, his hand holding my arms before jerking off of me. "Your- what.." Elijah looked closer to my arm, blood lining little scratches form what seemed to be glass. "Katerina, you need to tell me what is happening." He leveled his eyesight with me as I tried my best to focus. Who even am I right now? Where am I?

"Crash.. I-" I paused as I felt someone touch me, causing me to jerk around quickly in Elijah's hold. "Who's there?"

"Elena? Elena! Wake up!" I jerked my head up, looking to the side to see a blurry Damon glaring into the side of the car at me. "You need to wake up so I can help you." Were his eyes red? What-

"Damon?" I muttered before feeling him reach into the car, a growl leaving his throat as if he was fighting himself. His hands grabbed my arms, pulling me into his arms and out of the car.

"Damn it." He growled out as I felt my vision fading again.

"Damon..." I muttered, just now realizing I had fallen into Elijah's arms. "Your eyes-" I squeezed my eyes shut as Elijah held me close to him. "Elijah, Elena..She was- I was?"

"Elena was, what, Katerina? What is it?" He questioned, before letting out a sigh of frustration. I heard him moving around before hearing a phone. "Rebekah. Find Elena. She's in danger and it's doing something to Katerina." I heard him mutter into the phone. Then I felt his arms scoop me up, before the wind ran over us. Where was he taking me?

"Damon? Why are your eyes black?" I spoke out loud. But I didn't- I couldn't control my own mouth.

"Damon is there?" Elijah repeated. "No." He mumbled as he kept running us.

"Elena! Focus on me." Damon demanded as I felt his wrist being pressed to my mouth. I let out a grunt, scrunching my face up in disgust.

"Get off me." I fought, not able to move as much as I had thought I could. His arm tightened around me.

"Elena, stop fighting me. This is Not the time." Damon growled. "I'm only in so much control." His fingers ran over my forehead, pushing the hair out of my face but freezing as my blood smeared onto his fingers. "Elena." He growled through gritted teeth.

"Katherine." I sighed quietly. Damon brought his face into the crook of my neck, inhaling sharply.

"I can't-" Damon breathed as his arm tightened around me.

"Too tight.." I mumbled before I let out a gasp. Damon sinking his fangs into my neck and groaning.

"Katerina?" Elijah questioned as his hand touched my neck. "No. No. No!" He pushed himself to run faster. "Come on Rebekah. Get there." He exclaimed in concern and panic.

I could feel my grasp on my own reality being pulled into the darkest of shadows. This was it. Damon growled as his fangs dug deep into my throat. He was about to rip my throat out. But right before I lost consciousness, Damon was thrown off of me.

"Get a new blood supply you animal." I heard the voice of Rebekah Mikaelson hiss. "I can't believe I'm helping you." She huffed, pulling me up to my feet. Her wrist instantly pressing to my mouth with the warmth of blood touching my lips. "I'm not doing this for you, now open your mouth." She growled. My lips parted before I leaned into her wrist. Accepting the source of life.

"Rebekah.." I muttered as I felt my body healing. Elijah let out a sigh as he came to a stop in his running. Taking a moment to look me over.

"It's alright, Katerina.." He whispered into my ear.

My eyes shot open. Panic setting in as I was surrounded by nothing but complete darkness. I couldn't move. I couldn't scream. It felt like the walls were closing in on me. Pain running through me as I felt someone touch me- like they were going through me. Death. Alone.

I let out a sharp scream, fighting against the arms wrapped around me.

"No!!"
"No!"
