My mind was blank as I watched Eve fall backwards into nothingness. It was like she just vanished. She knew she would be sent somewhere. She knew that she could get back. But she seeked the thrill of the possibilities. I knew that. That's why I stayed back. I was there to observe. To see who all was involved.
What I hadn't expected was that my brother was a no show. Klaus was the planner of this. We all knew that. He was the one who knew the Gemini Coven. So why wasn't he here? To distract Kol? Again, I knew he was safe as well. Eve wouldn't leave us unprotected. I felt almost like a knight for her. Weird. She was the first woman to walk the Earth. The first woman created. A direct child of God. What does that make her? Royalty?
My body stayed hidden in the shadows of the tree line. Watching as the leader of the Coven was talking to Bonnie. He seemed upset. Did something happen to someone that wasn't supposed to? I noticed as a teenage blonde boy came running up to the man and was clearly upset. I moved closer to listen, realizing it would benefit me.
"She's dead and it's YOUR FAULT!!" The boy shouted. Who was dead? Not Eve. I couldn't sense her anymore. But if she had been killed, Kol would have been here- no, if she had been killed we would all be killed. The source of all of us.
"I didn't force her to go with Klaus." The man told the boy, taking to using a leader like tone with him. Although I could see the distress on his face. Was that his son? So whoever was killed was family, not just coven. Close family.
"No. You're right, you didn't. But you did enlist us to help you. You did force us to help you get out of your debt. And look where that got us."
"Lucas-"
"No. Liv was the only reason I stuck around. I'm out of here. I'm done. I don't need this life. And you don't need me anymore. Without a twin to merge with, I'm nothing but deadweight for you." So his twin sister was killed. I wonder if Kol had done that. She was clearly enlisted by Klaus to assist him with the distraction.
"Finn." I turned around quickly to see Elijah and Rebekah standing behind me. Elijah's eyes looking down to see I had been rolling the bracelet that Eve had gifted me around on my wrist. "Eve is gone?" He questioned, stepping forward. I nodded.
"Not dead."
"Clearly." Rebekah huffed with an eye roll. "If she were then we would be too." She pointed out as if I didn't just think that. "Kol killed the girl from the Coven. Once Joshua is gone they will have no leader and they will crumble." She told me as her eyes looked to the mess of a group in the opening.
"Is that what you are planning?" I questioned my sister. She shook her head before I could even try to think of the plan.
"No. They sent her to a prison world. If Joshua dies then it will fall apart and she could very well be lost in it." She explained. "Without a leader the whole coven dies. Like a life source I suppose."
"Does Kol have a plan then?" I looked from Rebekah to Elijah who shook their heads.
"He plans to roll in blood for a while." Elijah sighed, adjusting his sleeves. He acted like he wouldn't roll in blood for anyone- but Rebekah and I knew he would. Just hadn't found the right person to get dirty for. "Eve can handle herself. There are many prison worlds the Gemini Coven have control over- hopefully she landed in one with some decent company and with a blood supply."
A/N: Short update to see what the Mikaelson's are thinking. Next will be Eve's wake up :)
