"Seriously?" I repeated for the fourth time. Elena and I ended up back at the Salvatore Boarding house after a phone call from Stefan claiming we needed to plan. With Miss Mystic happening, this couldn't have happened at a worse time. "This almighty Source lady couldn't have waited a few weeks before showing up??"
"I highly doubt she cares about the town events." Damon muttered as he leaned over Stefan as he flipped through an old book.
"Let me get this straight. Not only are the Original Vampires in town, but now some old Biblical tribrid is here too?" Elena panicked. She is one of my best friends, but somehow she always seems to turn the drama to her. You would think she was the cheerleader between us.
"What did she talk to you about, Bonnie? Damon said she was in your house." Stefan mentioned causing a gasp to leave my lips.
"You invited her in!? What happened to being against Vampires???" I exclaimed, a glare pointed at her. She literally didn't talk to me for like a week when I was turned, AGAINST MY WILL.
"I didn't invite her in, Care." Bonnie told me. Blinking a few times to clear the glare as the confusion set in, I gave her a continue talking look. "She apparently doesn't need inviting in since she is the source."
"Isn't that something from a tv show? Charmed?" Elena questioned. I nodded at her. It was our show of choice during sleepovers for a bit. But we backed off when Paige entered the show. Elena didn't like how whiny the character came off as.
"Yeah. He was a demon, right? Like the king of all or something." I agreed, digging through my brain for the old memories.
"Eve isn't from Charmed. She's not a demon." Bonnie rebutted, shaking her head. "According to her, she is one of the first humans created to populate the Earth, but a cursed verison of that."
"Cursed. Demon. Sounds like the same thing to me." Damon shrugged, waving his hand with it. "If she was truly casted out of the- Garden of Eden- then that would make her a fallen Angel, right? Like Lucifer himself." We all looked at him, a bit shocked he knew anything of the bible. "Don't look at me like that. I've read a book before."
"You've read the bible?" Bonnie questioned, an underlining harshness to her words. She hated Damon. Like truly.
"Okay, let's focus here." Stefan snapped at us with his fingers. "This all powerful tribrid is in town and we don't know if she is going to side with the Mikaelson's or not. She could end up helping Klaus."
"Don't need to worry about that." A british tone filled the room. I looked up to see the devil himself, a smirk already lined up towards me. "Hello, love." He winked over to me. I couldn't even attempt to stop the eye roll that I did.
"What do you want, Klaus?" Elena snapped. His blue eyes looked over to her before deciding to ignore her completely.
"I figured the gang would pull together to get rid of this... problem. Thought I'd lend my wisedom to help out." Klaus decided with a bit of a shrug.
"You want Eve gone?" Stefan asked, suspiciously. "Why?"
"She's not a threat to me, if that's what you're thinking. No, I want her gone for my own reasons." I narrowed my eyes at him before a laugh let my lips.
"Oh, my god. You feel threatened because you're not the most feared anymore!" I laughed. Klaus turned his eyes back to me, his ego clearly hurt.
"I am the most feared still!" He exclaimed. His voice showing he was trying to make a point. "I'm a Hybrid, I don't need to feel threatened."
"And she's a tribrid." Bonnie pointed out. "The original." She added before smiling at him with attitude that would make me clap for joy if it wasn't for the Hybrid in the room. "And way older than you. A true original."
Klaus ran forward to grab Bonnie only to be stopped when a pain shot through his head. Bonnie was already getting stronger, even I could see the little effort she had to put in for that.
"Why should we help you get Eve out of town? Since she's been here, I've never felt stronger." Bonnie sneered. She really hated Klaus. More than anyone, I think.
"Because, she can kill anyone she wants permanently. No afterlife. Just gone." Klaus gritted as he endured the throbbing headache my best friend was giving him and stood back up straight. Eyes flashing yellow. "She could kill Jeremy or Elena and you couldn't bring them back."
Bonnie dropped the spell. Her eyes showing the thought process. The annoyance that the hybrid was right. The dread of having to work with him.
"Fine. What do we need to do then?" She questioned making Klaus smirk.
"First, we need to get in touch with an old coven I know."
