The moment my eyes had snapped open, I could feel my eyes glowing the ruby red that warned anyone near by of my power. Kai was still gripping my hand as he took a deep breath.

"Well this place has fallen to shit since I'd been here." Kai muttered distastefully as his eyes glanced over a dead body in the street. I let the grin pull at my lips as I glanced over the body of a dead human. Vampire attack.

"You can thank me for that." I chimed, not fighting the cheerful note in my tone. The ones who had sent me away were probably deeply regretting sending me away. Kai moved to release my hand, having the need to go take care of his coven once and for all. "Hold on, Kai- I just need to make leave a message. Won't take long." I assured him as he sighed, nodding. I didn't want to miss out on his revenge as much as he had an urge to watch me rip some people to shreds.

"Let's go then, Angel." He chimed as he grabbed my hand again so I could lead him. My magic flicking against him as his hand glowed red around mine. I didn't mind though. My magic was more tamed right now because of him- I think. I pulled him along with me, following the scent of the person I seeked first.

The moment I stood on the porch of the white family friendly home, I heard noise inside.

"Damon? Damon please answer-" I knocked on the door in a quick triple knock before glancing back at Kai who had stepped to the side with a grin on his face. I could see the excitement in his face. But when the door opened, I flashed around Elena Gilbert, leaving her confused and spotting Kai on her porch. "Can I help you?" She questioned, confused. Kai stepped up to the doorway with a shy frightened smile on his lips, trying to play the part that I suppose I had thrown him into.

"I'm sorry to bother you- but I think I'm being followed." He explained with a trace of fear lurking in his eyes. It was all an act of course. "I just- I need help. Please." He begged causing Elena to frown. She pushed the door open further but never said anything. Kai smiled thankfully before stepping around her and pushing the door shut behind them. "Thank you- I don't know how I could ever thank you." I shook my head at his damsel in distress act.

"Don't worry- I called my boyfriend, he should be getting here soon. He'll be able to help you." She told him with a nod. I decided to play the waiting game. An audience always made it better. Before I had just thought to rip her heart out and finger paint with her blood on the walls. Embrace my inner psycho. But this just got a bit better. Kai glanced behind Elena to me, a smile hidden in the small tug of his lips before he returned to his act.

"Will he be okay? There are some real crazies out there- a guy is out there claiming revenge or something." Kai told her, making up some story to play off of. "I swear I didn't even do anything to the guy." Elena shook her head.

"Kol. I thought he was being quiet lately.." She pulled out her phone and looked to be dialing a number before holding it to her ear. "Dam- Stefan? Where's Damon? Are you better?" She left the room to talk to the Hero complexed Salvatore. Kai watched her leave the room before his smirk turned to me.
