A hunter

A hunter. I was a Vampire Hunter. Alexander has been walking me through what to do to unlock the map of the cure on my chest and arm. It was nearly complete. I had ended up leaving Mystic Falls to avoid hurting someone I knew and liked. But I had no one really tying me to the town any longer. Alaric was officially dead. Bonnie only cared about her magic. Matt was on his own tangent. Caroline was grieving over the stupid Founders ball and competition.

I had no family there. With Jenna, my aunt, being dead for a year now- I don't even know why I hung around.

Killing a bunch of Vampires was easier than it should have been, thanks to the magic being out of whack. Eve being gone not only helped me find out who I was, but helped me find the secret I had always wondered the answer to. My purpose. And that was to kill Silas. To take the cure and shove it down his throat before slicing his throat so he could bleed out.

He was another legend that ended up being real.

Somehow, I had gotten to the island that Silas resided on with little to no trouble. And as I made my way into the cave that he was held in, I had to fight off a few other hunters who were there to protect him. They were all for the eternal sleep of the damned.

Me though, agreed with my new friend Alexander. Silas being around caused too many lost souls. And with Eve missing, it was the perfect time to take him down.

"You need to hurry." Alexander's voice sounded faded, worried. I made quick work of getting into the dark opening where Silas laid dormant. His body grey and unrecognizable to anyone that could have known him. The red blood looking cure in a vial in his hands over his chest. "HURRY!"

I ran over to the cure, grabbing it before shoving it into the dead creaky mouth of Silas. Forcing him to accept it before I felt a warmth rush through my body at a fast pace.

My body was thrown, from the unknown force, across the cave. My head banging against the rigid wall before my vision blurred.

Alexander was gone. I couldn't see him at all. And...Elena.. what happened? Eve.

"Well well well. Looks like I've got myself a hero." My eyes opened to see...Stefan? My eyebrows furrowed in confusion before I saw him smirk at me and my world went dark.
