Seeing Eve's hand turning black caused my heart to squeeze. Like a fist was holding onto my heart and just wringing it out. Her fingers were darkening at a mildly quick pace. I would give her a few hours at most before her whole body was ash.

"Dead? What do you mean she's dead?" Eve questioned me with confusion on her face. I thought I saw a bit of fear as well. I frowned, taking a step towards her only for this kid to stop me by growling in my face.

"Eve-" I tried but he stopped me.

"Answer the question." He growled out. My head moved to the side some to try and see her, but he moved with me. I was pretty sure he was a new vampire. But he was more than that.

"You need to put a silencing spell up..." I warned. He was listening. Always listening.

"Kol.." Eve looked over to Kol Mikaelson who quickly held her hand carefully. My heart sank as I realized what was going on. I knew they had a thing going on....but a magic bond? And here I had nothing but a garden to offer her.

"Now talk." Kol demanded as he held her hand. I nodded, glancing back towards the wolf of the Mikaelson's. He was an iffy ally. Something about wanting to earn his vampire back. But I didn't want to tell him that wouldn't be possible. Once your vampire is dead, it's dead.

"He killed her, Eve." I told her softly. Trying to show her I was not there to harm her. But her guard dog was still in my face.

"God? Why would he kill Eva?" I heard her question before sighing. "Kai, down boy." She huffed. Kai turned his head at her and gave her a playful glare before going to sit on the other side of her.

"I'll bite you for that later." I heard him whisper into her ear. Blood sharing.. I stood no chance getting Eve back.

"I think he was trying to recreate you too much." I told her honestly. "He had plans to create a new world and she refused to help as you did."

"He is trying to create a new world?" Eve questioned in panic, sitting up a bit too quickly. I glanced to her hands to see the dark skin was curling further up. It was like she was wearing gloves. Kol was tracing his thumb over the back of the dead looking skin in concern. Kai was wrapping his arm around her and pulling her into his side some.

"A world of no sin. He made the mistake of creating that tree of forbidden fruit last time and now- now he wants to prevent it." I told her. My feet moving me closer to her. "He wants to destroy this world for that one."

"And he needs me for that." Eve finished. I nodded. Kai let out a growl at me for being too close, but I ignored him before dropping to my knees harshly in front of Eve.

"You can't let him use you, Eve. This world will be gone if you help him." I urged her. I came here to take her away. To run and hide with her at my side. But seeing Eve with Kol and Kai... I didn't want her to be unhappy. But I wouldn't stop trying to get her to be mine either.

"He won't get her." Kol growled out, Kai nodding.

"You two are going to defeat God?" Klaus spoke up finally. I turned to look at him.

"God is nothing but a man with a tiny dick in a continuous measuring contest." Eve snapped. She wasn't wrong.

"Not what I had expected when I came home." I turned around to see a gorgeous blonde coming into the house. My eyes scanning over her before I realized something.

"Did you not do the spell well?? If she can come in no problem, what if he heard- I need to go." I decided. My heart pounding. I had snuck out of the Garden. He thought I had left to retrieve Eve. To bring her back. But if he had heard me..

"She is safe, Adam." Eve spoke calmly. Her brown gaze meeting the blondes.

"Where have you been, sister?? You missed out on all of the fun." Kol purred. Someone needs to tell him that his psycho is showing.

"I didn't want to be involved. But I wish you would have saved the doppleganger for me." She sighed. She had a lot of sass in her tone. But if she was related to the Mikaelson's, it made sense.

"Sorry. I had a bit of anger issues." Eve hummed before gasping in pain. Her forearms were darkening.

"How do we stop this??" Kai demanded. His gaze on me. I paused. Not liking what I had to say.

"She...she has to go back to the Garden."
