I was still buzzing with the effects of earlier this week. Eve is amazing. I could feel her magic still intertwining with my own. My own magic. That was still shocking. I was currently laid out on the chaise in the study, reading over about the Gemini Coven. Eve mentioned it before when she had decided to distract me with her...charm.
I only told her what I could remember about them. But I kept feeling like I was forgetting something, so there I was. Eve had left to get a drink really quickly. She was powerful, I knew she could take care of herself. But Finn had followed after her.
A news clipping was wedged into the covens history book. An article about a kid that murdered his siblings. My eyebrows furrowed as I scanned over it only to stop when Klaus walked in.
"Not playing guard dog today?" He questioned when he had seen me.
"She's stronger than all of us, I'm not too worried." I told him calmly- but inside I was trying to analyze my brother. My eyes ran over him subtly, seeing how relaxed he was. But the hands behind his back is what pulled my attention. "Today was the day, was it? What did you choose to do? Something with the Gemini's right?"
"I haven't a clue what you're talking about, Kol. I'm just here to get a book on siring." He played off before walking over to the desk that Elijah had in here. My lips pursed as I sat up, placing the forgotten news clipping into the book and setting it aside.
"With that dagger?" I asked as I saw the glimmer of the silver dagger. Klaus raised his eyebrow at me before pulling the dagger out from behind his back and placing it in eyesight.
"Just a precaution." He shrugged, toying with the dagger in his hands. "I didn't know if you were going to try and interfere or not." I stayed in my seat, my eyes pulling from the dagger that been in my back several times and had been a threat to my freedom and my siblings freedom for a while.
"So what? You planned on shoving that thing back into my back? Such a father like thing to do. You know- for not being Mikael's blood- you act just like him." I pointed out, acting like I hadn't cared about the dagger at all.
"I'm nothing like him. I'm protecting my family. Eve is strong enough to turn on us. She could kill us without a single ounce of guilt." Klaus growled in frustration. I tilted my head with a roll of my shoulders.
"I'm not worried. I've never threatened her."
"No. You just laid her in bed the moment you saw her." Klaus laughed drily. "Sleeping with the enemy doesn't make her an ally." He pointed out. His voice displaying just how annoyed he was.
"Technically, I didn't sleep with her." I grinned, licking my lips in memory. Klaus grimaced at the display before shaking his head. I stood up slowly, pulling his attention. "I think I should go check on her. She just went for a bite."
"You know I'm not letting you do that." Klaus told me, turning fully towards me. The dagger turned and ready to penetrate me if I turned away from him for even a second. I held my hands up at my sides. Urging him on. I had my own secret. The bracelet that Eve had placed on me burned heavy on my wrist. The magic inside of it leaving a mark on my skin as it kept flowing into my magic. "No fight?" He questioned with a raised eyebrow. He didn't trust me, as he should. I wonder what was happening with Eve. Did Finn try to interfere? What would the Scooby gang do to him? Did they have a dagger as well?
"I can't fight you, Klaus. You're an almighty Hybrid. I'm nothing to that." I teased with a smirk. I was egging him on. Trying to piss of the little wolf within. It was all a game to me at the moment. I trust Eve. I trusted Finn would be there for her.
"I'm not an idiot, Kol. You're technically a hybrid as well. A warlock." I snorted as my hands rested back against my sides.
"I don't know. I think I read somewhere that dogs are actually the dumber species. Cats are smarter- hell, they ruled Egypt at one point I think." I told him in thought. Klaus rolled his eyes at me before glancing behind me.
"Whatever you say, brother." That was when I had a cold metal drive into my back and pierce my heart. My head turning slightly to see some blonde hair girl who barely looked 16. "Meet Liv Parker." Klaus introduced as my skin greyed and the veins made their way over me. I was okay. I was okay. My magic- Eve's magic was keeping my blood flowing. My body warm. I could feel the dagger being shoved back out before being thrown backwards into a wall behind Liv.
"What a fun introduction." I muttered with a bit of a psychotic undertone in my voice. I turned towards Liv, my eyes dark and the veins moving underneath before I flashed towards her. My hand wrapped around her neck as I took us up the stairs and slammed her into a wall. "Sorry it had to be like this." I muttered before lowering my mouth to her neck, fangs breaking into her skin as the bracelet on my wrist seemed to be sucking whatever magic she was trying to use against me into itself.
"No-" Her broken plea fell on empty ears as I drained her of her blood quickly before feeling Klaus grab me by my shoulder and toss me off of her. It was too late as Liv dropped to the ground dead. Her dark blue eyes blank and staring off down the stairs.
"She was fun. Maybe a bit uptight on using her magic though- newbie right?" I questioned with a grin as I stood up from the wall I had hit when being tossed. I used my thumb to swipe some blood off my chin before sucking it clean.
"How- Eve." Klaus decided, nodding, his eyes on Liv before looking up at me. His eyes showed his anger, but he seemed to be staying calm. "Eve should be gone already. Nothing you can do." He shrugged. I glared at him.
"I can't touch you. Eve would want that pleasure." I spoke up, reminding myself more than anything. I knew Eve was looking forward to the revenge. She had spoken of heads rolling. Blood being spilled. It excited me beyond belief.
"You think she'll be back?" Klaus asked, shocked that I wasn't attacking him right now.
"I have faith." I grinned before running into him and causing him to fall down the stairs. "Be prepared, brother." With that, I flashed out of the house and made my way into the world. I couldn't touch the people involved. Not all of them. But a few casualties to lighten up my anger would be fine.
