Lady Erulisse Greenleaf, House Thranduilion, December 6 T.A.

Dear reader, this is my story.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I slashed two orcs to my right and another to my left with my other blade. These monsters were becoming a real pain in the butt. I signalled for my troop to follow me down the narrow trail. We sliced and stabbed at anything that came out of the brush. I sighed with relief when I saw another troop marching toward us. Their blonde leader smiled at me. We met in the middle.
"We have cleared the east portion." He stated.
I slid my swords back into their scabbard. "As have we the west. The orcs are becoming bolder."
"Aye, it is so."
One soldier approaches us. "Captain Greenleaf?"
Legolas and I both turn and say in perfect unison. "Yes?"
The poor elf looks so confused. He turned toward me. "What orders do you have for me?"
"Return to the barracks. The next troops will be moving out soon."
The troops turned and headed back towards the Palace. Legolas bent and kissed me. "I was worried for you. There were so many."
"I am fine my love, you needn't worry for me." I stroked his cheek. "Come, let us go home." Legolas kept his hand on my waist while we walked. He kept glancing around uneasily.
"Lego, what is it?" I stopped when he did.
"Something approaches." He pushed me behind him slightly. I broke into smiles when I saw the tip of a pointed, gray, hat emerge from the bushes.
"Well now, If it isn't young master Greenleaf and his wife." Gandalf chuckled. Legolas and I both nodded our heads to him. I hugged him. "Mithrandir, we haven't seen you in years." The last time Gandalf had come through was six years ago on our wedding day. Gandalf walked with us back to Mirkwood.
Thranduil stepped down off his throne. "Mithrandir, welcome." He nodded to the gray pilgrim.
"Thank you, My Lord. I have come under a matter of urgency. I must question the creature Gollum on the whereabouts of the one ring."
A small gasp fell from Legolas's lips. His eyes widened and he pulled me against him. Something he did when he was anxious. I put one arm around his torso and rested my hand on his chest. He kissed my forehead and turned back to the discussion between his king and the wizard. Thranduil had Gandalf settled in so he could rest from his long travels. Legolas and I returned to our Quarters.
I placed my weapons back on their rack and rushed upstairs to change. Legolas and I had been given a much larger home after the wedding. It was located in the outer courts of the Palace. We had our own house within the city. Our home had a large, spacious lounge, kitchen, and dining room downstairs with three bedrooms and another private lounge on the second floor. We also had outdoor access where I had my garden and bunny habitat. Even though the rabbits preferred to live inside with us.
I stopped to look at the two closed doors on the opposite side of the wooden hall. The low pain in my heart caused me to put my hand on my chest. Arra and Meludir had been married for five years and they had two children. So far, despite trying for three years, my womb remained empty. Legolas assured me he wasn't bothered but I could deep down he was disappointed. I know he was dying to be a father. He interacted with our nieces so well. I desperately wanted to give him a child. We were being pressured on all sides. Addie and Bercalion kept joking about Legolas and I having a baby, and Thranduil kept bringing up grandchildren, even Arra was on me about wanting cousins for her daughters. I heard whispers among the kingdom. People wondered if the prince would extend his family line or if the king's line would end. We had been examined by the healers several times but they could find nothing wrong with me or Legolas.
