My whole body felt uncomfortable, especially my neck area. I groaned into my arms smelling a weird male scent rush around my nose.
I felt like it wasn't lying on something hard like a table or a desk, it was in a squishy surface, like a bed or else, a person.
"Your welcome by the way," The sound of Giovanni's voice flowed through one ear to another. "I guess the book was boring, huh?" He laughs lightly as I flattered my eyes to finally see him.
"What?"
"Don't worry, here." He clears his throat, handing me the bottle of water he held. "Your mother keeps messaging you, what's that about?"
"None of your concern," I say rudely watching him drop his head. Giovanni was fragile and it was easily spotted, "I'm sorry," And he always managed a way on changing my responses, washing away the negative words.
"It's fine, but if it's something serious i feel like you should message her back. She's your mother anyways, i'm sure what she's done isn't terrible Koji."
"She hasn't done nothing terrible but kick me out," I admitted, watching the small shift of his body so he faced me. "I'm the one with the wrong doings, but i don't see myself apologising to my mother about my actions."
"Bro- why?" Giovanni was confused, and anyone who sat in the room would be too. "Uh- you're so confusing Koji."
"Shut up." I say, scoffing playfully sitting myself up on his bed. "I'll apologise to her when it's the right time. But tell me!" I smile, moving my head towards his.
"Tell me you collected some numbers from the seniors in our grade. Everyone talks about you like you're Michael B. Jordan."
"Um," He was shy, and it was cute. "They don't too much, they weren't my type. What's your type though? What do you see in a guy?" I really don't know, the question stunned me.
