Imp Goetia Part 5: A New Man

Striker stood over a dead body with a sinister grin. He took his phone out and rang Stella, who was currently out with her girls. She immediately excused herself and picked up after seeing his name on the screen. It was finally done. An evil grin spread across her face. She was now free. This was a cause for celebration. Without hesitation, she told her friends that she had to go home. While curious, they could see that something extraordinary had happened. Meanwhile, Striker searched the mansion. As a little trophy, he helped himself to the Grimoire and tucked it into his satchel. It was a powerful bargaining tool. Considering that Stolas had sold its powers for cheap sex with some guy, it would surely come in handy.

The next day Stella stood before the Goetia elites. Striker stood by her side. She explained everything. She said she would take responsibility for her husband's murder since she had hired Striker. The council listened. While they were somewhat put off by her willingness to employ an Imp, they also knew how qualified he was. And considering how much of a feat it was to murder one of their kind, they had to admit they were impressed. Thus, Stella was dismissed with a slap on the wrist. As for Striker, he got many potential future clients.

Over the next few days, Stella and Striker made plans to start living together. And she quickly realized something. She didn't want to believe it. But all the signs were clear.
