Blair walked into the office building. Things were taking off for I.M.P after a series of murders and other crimes in the living world over the past few days. Surprisingly, word of her company's services had spread quickly. This was her chance. Her new customers hadn't been subjected to the bias and rumors yet. Blair sat in her office and started looking through the requests that had been piling up. With a heavy sigh, she sorted them by payment and location.

Within the week, Blair and her team had completed three jobs and collected payment. Half of the money was set aside for rebuilding the place. Or she was investing in their own location. Because this office building sucked. While Blair had to cut wages, it would be worth it in the long run. Her employees understood and accepted smaller checks.

As time dragged on, the number of jobs increased. If fact, it was to the point where Blair was seriously considering hiring a few demons. And thus, the hiring process began. Since this was Hell, it wasn't hard to find someone who was ready to kill. But that wasn't everything. Blair needed more than just killers. Her company had grown. She needed security, office staff, and more. They had upgraded to a real office building that she owned. It was a little small. But at least it was hers. The days of paying rent and parking fees were finally over. The hiring campaign went well. Once she had enough hires for the needed positions, the training started. Blair disapproved of mindless murder. Assassination was a work of pure art. She wasn't going to have her employees resort to senseless violence like monsters. I.M.P was Blair's pride and joy. The only way someone was going to make her company look bad was over her dead body.

A note from the author: This is the start of some gender-bent I.M.P shorts to establish new characters. For Blitzo, I chose the name Blair in reference to The Blair Witch Project. I don't know why it was the first thing I thought of, but it clicked, and I stuck with it.
