Andrealphus drummed his talons on the table. He glanced out the large window. Stolas would arrive at any moment. While waiting, he ordered another glass of red wine and snacks from his butler. Andrealphus wasn't the kind to beat around the bush. He had called his brother-in-law out to his manor. They had to have a little talk about his little affair and betraying his little sister. They had never gotten along, but he would be damned if he let anyone insult her. That was his job. And no demon was allowed on his turf.

Stolas knocked and let himself in. One of the maids showed him to the room where Andrealphus was waiting patiently. He smiled and gestured for his guest to sit. Of course, he hadn't told Stolas the real purpose of this little meeting. He started with small talk about their hobbies and gradually worked up to his sister and niece. Unlike Stella, Andrealphus preferred slowly cutting deeper into his enemies. He let his cold words sink in and spread like frostbite through their veins. Stolas had no idea what he was in for. Andrealphus asked his in-law if he still considered himself a proud Goetia after stooping so low as to sell the Grimoire to have an affair with some guy. The fact that it was an Imp only made it worse. But that was secondary in comparison.

Andrealphus casually made remarks about what he had heard from Octavia. She had told him everything. Stolas listened in shock. He had no idea that his daughter was being bullied because he felt like sleeping with some random guy. Andrealphus recounted many instances when she had come to him for comfort. Stella's words echoed in his head. She was always yelling about how his affair with some guy ruined them. Now he realized his horrible mistakes. But it was far too late to atone for anything.

As the final nail in the coffin, Andrealphus noted that Octavia had expressed her desire to move out and live with him instead. He had already prepared a room for her. Now Stolas was taken aback. He couldn't believe it. He rushed home. Andrealphus just laughed. His dense brother-in-law had never noticed how much he had been hurting his family. He would be lucky to have his wife and daughter for much longer. The Goetia elites had started a full investigation into his affair the other day. They already had evidence, and Stella and Octavia were ready to testify. With any luck, they would be free from Stolas. They could then restore their names. As for him, he would most likely be banished. Andrealphus couldn't wait to see how it would all play out. It would serve Stolas right for daring to betray the Goetia race.
