He Mae Look Like A She

Joe and Lin had a son. Their daughter Mille returned to the ranch with her husband Moxxie to celebrate. Everyone was there to meet the baby. His name was Salvador Marcus. An all-day celebration kicked off at the ranch. Striker even stopped by to pay his respects while in the middle of a job. He had worked there, after all.

But the joy didn't last long. Joe and Lin realized something was wrong with Salvador when he was a few years old. They quickly made an appointment. And it was another tragedy in Imp history. The doctors quickly realized that Salvador had a genetic defect that tormented many of their kind. It was commonly referred to as the T-Mutation. Lin broke down in tears. Joe stood there in silence. For their kind, men had wide stripes decorating their black horns. Females had thin stripes, almost like rings. It was how an Imp was identified. However, the T-Mutation twisted their genetics, so their body didn't match their horns. And currently, there was no way to correct or remove the mutation. In short, Salvador Marcus looked more like a female, despite the thick stripes on his horns indicating that he was 100% male. He was too young to understand. But he knew he was different.

Salvador's parents knew he would have a hard life ahead of him. They promised to do their best to protect him. And to do so, they decided that he should stay at the ranch indefinitely. Of course, it wasn't his fault. But they didn't want to take any risks with their son. After all, he was an Imp. Their kind wasn't treated well to begin with. And if word that he had the T-Mutation got out, things would be far worse. So, unlike Mille, Salvador grew up at the ranch. Later in his teen years, he understood why his parents had insisted on this. He thanked them for saving him. In the end, Salvador lived on the family ranch all his life.
