Maxx drove off. He was finally leaving the family ranch. He had lived at Rough 'n Tumbleweed Ranch for many years. It had been his home. It was where he had grown up and learned so much. But now it was time to leave and explore the Pride Ring. Maxx looked at his family, waving in the rear-view mirror. He smiled. As much as he would miss country life, the city had much more to offer. Thus, he decided to make his own killing in Pentagram City. He turned the radio up and entered the city limits a few hours later.

After a few months, Maxx had settled into an apartment. It wasn't very big, but it was ideal for one demon. By now, he had been doing odd jobs to make money to put into a better place. He was still job hunting and hoping for something more concrete. At one point, he had met a fellow Imp. She was as beautiful and knew how to handle weapons. It was super hot. Maxx took a chance and made a move. She was a little timid. But that didn't mean she didn't let other demons push her around. They started dating. She even helped him land a more stable job.

About half a year later, Maxx and his girlfriend were living together in a real house. They had also gotten better jobs. They were now working for I.M.P and were cut out for the gig without question. The company traveled to the living world to kill upon the demons' request for payment. It wasn't a big company; only four, including the boss, got the jobs done. Maxx proposed hiring a few more demons. The boss agreed, but it wasn't easy. She had a lot on her plate. And she didn't have a lot to spare for wages either. So, looking for even one or two candidates would have to wait until the company was more profitable with extra revenue.

In the meantime, Maxx proposed to his girlfriend. She had been waiting and happily accepted. Their wedding was held at Rough 'n Tumbleweed Ranch, mainly because they hadn't planned a big wedding in the first place. In addition to the family, a few friends from the city were present. As for I.M.P, the boss closed the company for a week as everyone traveled to the family ranch to celebrate. Maxx's parents gave him some extra money to put toward the honeymoon. They knew he had been saving up, but this was a special occasion. And they wanted him to enjoy it. After Maxx and his lovely fiancé said their vows, the real party got underway and lasted late into the night. Maxx and his wife left for their honeymoon after a day of sobering up. They had a lot to look forward to.

Since I.M.P was still closed, the boss used the time to study business strategies. She made some changes, starting with marketing. Maxx and his wife came back to the welcoming changes. The company finally had more clients. Some even offered to pay more than the boss asked for. Maxx helped spread the word among his other groups of friends. He also kept an eye out for newcomers to Hell. He quickly made an effort to network with them. Luckily, some had a heavy thirst for revenge. That meant they had the potential to become future I.M.P clients, which was the best scenario. Maxx was successful in getting more clients. The company gradually gained clients.

Eventually, the boss could afford to look into hiring new employees. Once again, Maxx handled it. And this time, his wife helped. Words among women spread fast. Soon, applications and phone calls were coming in. The secretary was super busy but in a good way. After so long, things were looking up. Maxx sent a long letter back home and added a package of pictures and souvenirs for everyone. And, of course, he invited them over to visit now that his life was stable and on the right track. Sure Maxx was in Hell. But he was enjoying every moment of it.
