A week had passed since Stella had visited Striker. Today, Stolas was out on Goetia business. He wouldn't be back till it was past dinner time. In short, the mansion was under Stella's decree for the day. She invited Striker over while Stolas was very busy getting prepared. She also instructed the hellhound guards to allow him to enter the property. Striker arrived minutes after Stolas left. The butlers and maids were confused, given Stella's history with their species. But they also knew better than to ask questions. Striker was given a full tour of the mansion. He took note of various escape routes. Just in case he ended up killing Stolas at home. There were plenty of hiding places as well. It was perfect for a game of cat-and-mouse.
Stella and Striker's affair had leveled up to taking place in the mansion. On some days, they just hung out in Pentagram City. On some nights, they were in the same bed. And as for Stolas, he was utterly clueless. He was happy to have some peace and quiet from Stella's outbursts. Whatever her reasons were for not being home as much, he didn't care. If only he knew what was going on while he was away from home.
