Everyone is making their way to their assigned area to complete their tasks after a few moments. Not being excluded, Trix and I have to clean the warehouse with the youngsters. It's not easy, as they still didn't take this seriously. My best friend then threatened them if they play around again, she will get stricter on the next cleaning duties. In the end, they're following her instructions and doing their assigned chores.
Trix is scary when she didn't get what she wanted... Hope she will be more gentle to me when we live together...
I slipped my way to the secluded area that Trix tasked me to sweep the dust. As I sweeping the floor, two teenagers gossiped with each other when my best friend left the warehouse for a while. I don't want to eavesdrop on them, yet my ears can hear everything.
One of them suddenly secretly pointed her finger at me, "Did you know? That older sister is dating the chores leader?"
"Eeeh?! Really? How did you know that?"
My ears turned red slowly to match my heartbeat. I sighed as I grumbled in my mind.
We are not dating yet, you greenhorns.
I keep sweeping the ground to ignore them. Unaware of my surroundings, a hand touches my shoulder. When I turned around, my eyes caught my best friend staring at me awkwardly.
"Trix?"
She smiled while crossing her arms.
"Viona, why are you still sweeping the same spot?" She tilted her head, "All of us already done here."
"It's done already?"
"Yes. Let's go to the hall," Trix held her hand out and said, "breakfast is ready now."
"Oh, I didn't realize it..." I put away the broom and took her hand, "Thank you, Trix."
"You're welcome."
She then dragged me out of the warehouse without saying anything more. While we're walking, I saw her ears were red from behind. This made me more curious as Trix rarely blushed or embarrassed even when she got confessed by the boys in the town.
I wonder why her ears is red now?
